He saw a body laying crumpled at the foot of them, and rushed down. It was Rin, she was bleeding, Kyo cradled he in his arms and began to scream for a doctor. a Amall crowd began to form around them, and a doctor came rushing forward. He took her intoa n adjacent Room and lay her on the table and began to examine he before turning to Kyo and in a hushed voice he said, as his attentents prepared the room for operation,"She has fallen very hard and cracked her head open. She is right now in a coma. We are going to try to operate on the left side of her brain. it is a very dangerous procedure, I will tell you now but it is th eonly way." Kyo walked over to Rin with tears in his eyes, and kissed her on the mouth, and was then forced from the room by the assistents. He stood out side of the room pacing for some time. Kyos grandfather, having been informed of what ahppened came in looking grave. He sat on a step and waited. The children wer ein the care of a nanny. presently the doctor came out of the room, covered in blood,"We were able to pull he rout of her coma. when she wake sup she will need to have as little stress as possible and be off her feet. She may be parylised for a few hours as well but it is just anatural reaction to the operation and shock, and will return to normal. For now we should keep her comfortable. She is stable now, you can visit her, but im not sure when she will regain consciousness, it should be very soon however." Kyo thanked the doctor and Kyo and his grandfather walkedinto th edimly lit room where Rin was lying in hospital robes, peacefully upon the table. Kyo sat at her side and took her hand.

Kyo smiled at her, trying not to cry with joy at her being alive,"Its on sweetheart, you just...rest. When your better me and you will go on our honey moon." he smiled at her supportively, and gripped her hand tightly.

Josh was in control and now at an ico rebel base. Even though Ashen Rahman and himself helped each other, he still didnt trust the valheru as he knew its true intention. Josh sighed as he scooped another spoonful of food into his mouth. He was no longer talkative and happy, it seemed he just wanted his peace and quiet. He knew this was a trait of the valheru that seaped through his sub concious. He pushed his bowl away and took out a throwing knife that was within his arm guard. He looked at it carefully, moving it from side to side to catch his reflection, then the sun shon on the knife and blinded josh momentarily, he blinked then started to etch on the table with the sharpened weapon.

The elf had etched a crude pattern of some monster into the wooden table, it bared some resemblence to an orc, but only in the way that it had mroe of a snout than a nose and it bared its teeth. Josh scoffed at his pitiful attermp but knew he couldnt do much better as art wasnt really his forté.

He looked around and noticed the soldiers, most were fresh and ready for battle but others seemed weary, a good days rest would fair them well.

Hyabusa, the man who Ashen Rahman had elected as second in command of the small bettalion came and sat next to josh, though Hyabusa was uneducated he had a kean mind and could tell there was more than met the eye with the young elf.

The man was sharp and to the point. Such bluntness shocked josh but he knew there was no hiding it, the soliders had seen in plain day that the valheru had changed into an elf. wearily josh replied.

Josh's stomach lurched at this. But the pain soon subsided. "He seems to have chosen you for you skills with a sword. you will help him a lot if he changes again."

A familiar c***k reigned in josh's elven ears. was theat the sound of.....ale.. He turned to Hayabusa, im sorry for this, but i must leave, something needs my urgent attention. The solider nodded and signalled for him to get on his way.
The elf swiftly took off in the direction of the sound. i wonder what would be best for me at this time... to keep myself to myself and reflect on the past.... or to blast the memories right out.... Josh smiled he knew which he would take.
It wasnt soon untill he came to where he heard the sound, and josh gleamed with happiness at what he saw.

"kira you old ale devourer, i see you have started to work on weaker pray, are you scared that i might beat you.... honestly a young girl...im astonished... and not even thinking to ask me whether i wanted to drink.... you have gotten sly in your time away."

Josh took her hand "and it is a pleasure to meet one, of such beauty as yourself"
The elf gave a half laugh towards kira. "well she did say she was scared of the dark, so i thought it best that i keep her company.. wouldnt want her to wet her sheets or anything"
He laughed openly this time then looked back to kira.
"excuses excuses... right shall we get onto this thing then, i bet you 10 gold pieces that i can drink you under the table"
Josh placed his pouch down and smiled he then took the ale and downed it.
He soon spluttered. "damn... that suffs evil, was that concocted in the depths of hell itself.. the devil drinks that for fun i bet. I swear its worse than that of the tavern we stopped in... but im not one to judge, another round please"
