"Your evil state..." Never having intended to spy on them, but having done so none the less, Saradin approached them both. "Aurahkah, its not healthy to keep two distinct sides of you apart. Jekyll and Hyde fared about as well as anyone can when broken into parts like that." But actually moving beyond them both, he knelt before Eclipse and looked at the sword he was drooling on.

Bastet nodded, "Vampires need their space, besides it is daytime." Then she thought for a moment. "Yes, I did and I do love him. He cared for me, which had not happened before, and he helped me. It pains me to say but at that time I was significantly weaker than I am now, but he was anything but weak." She closed her eyes in remembrance, "And he was mine for the time we could steal away, it was Manu that had him killed in front of me while I was held back." Her eyes misted some, but tears did not fall. Too many had alreayd fallen. "He is why I realized that killing every Roman I meet is bad. I have my revenge, and Omari's face is still clear in my mind telling me to move on."
She watched as Saradin aproached, "Do not worry we are in the process of killing her Hyde."

Aura had looked to Saradin a moment as he approached. "If I could split from myself and kill off that part, then I would." Her look then returned to Bastet. "Well since Manu is dead, you hopefully have your ultimate revenge for Omari, and as Omari tells you, you can move on.
Eclipse nuzzled Saradin's arms, Soulforge still in his mouth as he did so. "You met new people earlier, I can smell them on you."

"I don't think abolishing one part of someone works as well as we'd like it to. Old aspects are a permenant part of us, and trying to cover them up lets them hide and leap out when something goes wrong." Saradin in the same manor that had been witnessed before, ran his hand down the blade of Soulforge, taking in the memories recorded on its form. "Yes, I met some new people earlier. A young couple, they want to get their vehicle repaired and leave as soon as possible." Before getting to caught up in answring Eclipse, his thoughts shifted back to Aurahkah. "What you were helped build what you are, even if its not easy to see how. Have you ever tried to accept it and find a middle ground? There should only be one of you, even if its not the perfect hostess Aurah that we've known for so long."

Aura let her glance slip to Saradin. "Accepting something that is so bad is a hard thing to accomplish completely. Bits and pieces I have accepted, I'm still working on the rest. And finding a middle ground in the midst of people, specifically two families who forced you on the defensive at time, is hard." She then smiled as was looking particularly at no one now. "But perhaps this time around, having you all here, I can find that middle ground."
Eclipse's eyes had followed Saradin's hand down the blade at the movement. He set Soulforge on the floor in front of his paws, decided that he was sure Saradin didn't appreciate his drool or impending permanent teeth marks on his sword. He then added in a whisper, as if not wanting to draw too much attention or distract from the conversation, "Aurahkah says you can have it back if you want it."

"I was merely finding out why she was like that. It seems that she should not have much trouble being cared for and needed now. Everything we have been through makes up who we are, it is learning from those experiences that helps." She shifted in her chair to lay across the arms of it with her tail hanging off. Staring at the ceiling she thought more, "We wont let you get all mean again, and we wont be the cause of it, looking at the way things are currently."

"Of course, we cant expect to force it on you. Nor for it to be easy, or soon. But I'm glad you put so much stock in us, considering how much trouble we bring in. I know you help us with anything willingly, but its still something you wouldnt have to deal with otherwise." And returning Eclipse's hushed tone, he ignored the sword. "It's alright. I think I can manage without it a while longer. If I need it, I'll know where it is."

"Let's just say that you all are the first people I've been able to trust in a very long time, even despite what's been going on lately." She cast a look to Bastet. "You have permission to beat me with a stick if it happens again."
Eclipse nodded to Saradin, picked up Soulforge and dropped the drool infested weapon in Aurahkah's lap. "Still yours Aurahkah."
Aura looked to the sword in her lap for a moment before picking it up and placing it on a side table next to her, saying nothing despite her displeasure for it's state and continued her focus on the two in her company.

"I dont think that stick beatings will be necassary. Though, that would serve to entertain us, watching Bastet chase you around with a stick." Sword put aside, Saradin gave Eclipse the petting that he had held off on, scratching fur between his fingers and rubbing behind his ears. "I still marvel at the fact that people can trust me at all considering what I am, and the current situation around me. But thank you Aurahkah."

"Hey we've been around you for a long while now. It's harder not to trust you than to trust you. And I'm sure everyone would just love to see me running around as Bastet has a field day trying to knock me in the head with a stick. Hell, I think I'd enjoy seeing that myself."
Eclipse leaned his head into Saradin's hands, letting his tongue hang out, much like any other common dog enjoying a good scratch.

Bastet laughed out loud, "Well, I have slapped you before, and I was tempted to do that again. Do you realize how dangerous it is to give me permission to beat you with a stick?" With an evil look in her eye she began to practice swinging at Aura, like she was holding a bat.

"Steady there kitty. You wont be getting your chance for a while, I hope. But enough of savage beatings. I've got faith that you can pull it off, Aurah. You've got Eclipse, and all of us on your side to help you if you need it." Saradin of course ruffled Eclipse's fur, thinking of all he owed to that hound too.

"Yes I do realize how dangerous that is, but I'd probably deserve it. I mean hey, I still owe you an old fashioned Egyptian sai fight." She rolled her eyes and looked back to Saradin. "Wonderful, support against the stick beating. Yes I'll just have to stop procrastinating about it....then Bastet you may hit me with a stick.
"Hey after you hit her with the stick, can I chase it?"

Bastet made a small pouting noise and sat up, her ears drooping some. "But Sarah, I want to beat someone! Aura can heal anyway...." She mumbled under he breath some, "Yes Aura, we still need to have that fight."
SHe sideglanced Eclipse, "A dog at heart."

"But I don't heal instantaneously like you do Bastet, I actually have to be capable of casting a spell." She snapped her fingers. "I know! You can beat 'Clipse." She reached a hand out to the wolf's wing and yanked out a feather.
"Ow, hey I felt that one!" He looked between both Aurahkah and Bastet. "She would never hit me with a stick," turn on the charm, "isn't that right Kitty?"
