Kyo smiled soothingly at Rin and continued to feed Kina. She yawned cutely, her ears twitched again, made some baby noises and fell asleep. Kyo continued to cradle her in his arms. To the objective observer the sight of one of the most feared and powerful demons in the underworld, who had slaughtered so many foes, cradling a baby carefully in his arms, sould seem ironic, but the irony missed Kyo for now. He just sat there holding the infant in his arms and smiling to himself. He looked at the bed, which was incredibly large. at least 14 feet wide and 8 feet lon, and covered with Red Satin sheets. Kyo smiled again at Rin,"This is our first family night....woiuld you like me to take Ryo and you can rest?"

Kyo took his son, and smiled at Rin,"DOnt worry ill put them to bed soon. You rest. IN the morning well show the court out new treasures." he kissed Rin softly. he took Ryo in his arms and smiled at him. His heir to the throne. He couldnt wait to show them to his grandfather. He would be so pleased. Kyo thought of his father, and knew he would be happy too. Kyo cradled to two children in his arms long after they had fallen asleep. Kina looking innocent in her sleep, while Ryo contiued to have a gaunt arrogant expression on his face, like Kyo himself. He carefully got up and put them in the crib next to their bed and kissed them goodnight on the forehead, before tucking them into the fleece blankets surrounded by stuffed animals. He than climbed bakc into bed with Rin and aly down, tired but not wanting to sleep.

She purred and snuggled up to him, being wary of her stitches and tucked her head beneath his chin. Sleep hit her heavily and her soft breathing danced across his neck and the sounds of her purs went to his ears as she fell asleep.

Kyo woke up, and he could here one of the children crying. He got up out of bed and walked over tot heir crib. He saw Ryo bawling his eyes out while Kina slept quietly. Kyo picked up Ryo and held him,"Shhh..."he said soothingly to try to quiet the aggravated child. He pput his finger in his mouth and felt the baby teeth had almost completely grown. A normal demon child would grow to the human age of 1.5 in about 9 hours. after that the slowing gradually slowed down. Once at about the human age of 18 the demon practically stops aging, until several hundered years old, when the years begin t show more and more. Kyo was afraid the crying would wake Rin so he walked out into the hall with Ryo and walked up and down before the shild quieted enough to reenter the room.

Kyo looked over and smiled at Rin seeing her awake. he looked out th window and saw sunlight beginnning to fill the room. He walked over to Rin still carrying Ryo and lay him down on the bed, between Rin and himself. Ryo crawled up onto his motheres stomach and poked her nose.

Kyo smiled atRin, "yah today well show him to Grandfather, afte ryour fully rested."

Kyo smiled at thewm and than walked over to the crib. Kina was there smiling up at him. She raised her hands at him wanting to be picked up. Kyo smiled at her and picked her up, spinning her high over his head before coming over to the bed and laying back down beside Rin and Ryo. He leaned over and kissed Rin on the cheek,"When you get better me and you are gonna take a vacation for a while...just us 2. ok? Now when your ready well go show grandfather his great grand children."
