"And now you're probably cold blooded." he chuckled. "Well there's a nice spot in the heat lamp...but you won't go easy will you."

Of course mystery turned human, for a bit...before he got four arms and an ant part on his back along with antennae. "Not this time apparently." he grumbled.

Oh please. The worst that would happen without the heat lamp would be that she would start to hibernate. That wasn't a big deal.... not with the daily checkups. Sarah slithered off of the bead and onto the ground, moving quickly for the door. Who knows, maybe she'd get locked back up in here again if she stayed.

He walked out of her room and slammed the door behind him before Sarah could escape. Someone else could put her away later if they wanted too.

Sarah cursed mentally as she stared at the closed door. There had to be another way out, there had to..... the ventilation system! Looking around, she saw an air duct under her bed. Well, that was nice, but how would she take the panel off the vent? Oh, problem after problem....
