A few mumbles became a summoning spell as the Dremora, startled, casted the first spell that came to his mind, and with that a full set of Daedric Armor was on him. He didn't become heavy at all however, but mearly slipped from the man's grasp. As soon as he was free, Xivi made a graceful backflip onto the nearby well. The helm moved up and down, looking at the man's clothing. Xivi crossed his arms and dismissed his armor, now feeling remotely secure in who he faced.

"I serve my mother, and so do you, brother." Xivi said politely as he hopped down from his perch. He seemed used to this treatment, but was still surprised at the ferociousness of this encounter.

"I've never seen your kind amongst our ranks. Please forgive me. Now, if you would, follow me, and serve your black hand." Leo said. He turned and began to walk at a somewhat brisk pace towards the Inn where Sydney and Shaon were.

Xivi kept pace and looked around, "Many people seem frightened of me, it is like they have never seen one of my kind..." He paused and smiled, "I'm sure that would only get worse if my pet were to follow me into towns such as this."

"Well this is the heart of Imperial society. If you exclude the arcane university students, most people in this city are ignorant of what daedra really are." Leo said. "Now, I feel obligated to ask you, what exactly is your... pet? Forgive me for my rudeness, I have not yet allowed for a proper introduction. It is not yet safe." Leo opened the door to the Inn and waited for Xivi to go in, as he took a second look to make sure they weren't being followed.

Sydney had no real memory of what happened next, but he fell asleep in the bed, too tired to remember any of the conversation.

Shaon sat next to her sleeping brother, eyes open and alert as she sat by hishead. she heard footsteps toward the inn and tightened her fist around one of her daggers and stood, slinking into the shadows of the room and crouching down. she wondered if their door would open. but if it did, she'd have to be ready.

Xivi looked around as well, but mostly at everyone else in the Inn. He knew he was different, but he was still not used to it. "My pet came from my homeland as well. I tell him to stay in the woods while I go into a village or city, since he doesnt like crowds much. After all, a Clannfear is seen as hostile no matter what." Xivi spoke quietly and watched Leo for any change in expression.

Leo muttered under his breath. "By Sithis..."

Leo had slain a few clannfear in his day, but they always came close to killing him. Leo opened the door to Sydney's room very slowly, as not to frighten a stab happy assassin that he knew.

After he closed the door he introduced himself. "I am Speaker Leo, and these are Speakers Sydney and Shaon." he said, motioning to both.

"What is your name?" Leo inquired while looking down worriedly at Sydney.

Shaon walked quietly from the shadows sitting calmly by Sydney. "shhhh," she said quietly, moitioning that he was asleep. she saw Xivi and tightened her grip on her dagger. "by the contracts i swear to, what the hell is that beast doing in here!?" she gaped quietly, staring at Leo with a pained expression as if askign him what he was doing.

"He is one of our own, I believe." Leo said re-examining him.

Shaon didn't believe him, not for a second. "you believed so!?" she stood carefully in front of sydney. "you didn't bother to confirm it!?" she kept her voice down, quiet, but it was still layered with pain. he'd led a daedra to them.

Sydney was having troubled dreams, all he could see were his parents cowering in the corner of their house back in Balmora.
It was the same dream everytime, the dark hooded figure would kill them and laugh. He would go to pull down his hood and the dream would end.
But one time it was different.
When it came to the stage where the figure pulled down it's hood, there was a face.
The face belonged to Shaon.
Sydney awoke with a fright, and what he saw didn't help.
Shaon was standing in front of him with Leo standing by none other than a dremora.
"What in the name of Sithis!?" Sydney exclaimed as he leapt to his feet and drew his sword. As he did so, there was a spliting pain in his head. Obviously his body needed more rest yet.

(dun dun duuuun scary xD )
Shaon steadied him with one arm. she was still in front of him, even when he was off the bed. she didn;t want him to fight. "That's what i was wondering!" shaon cried. "seems Leo brought a dremora he thinks MIGHT be a brother to this tavern." she snarled ferally, flicking the daggers in her hands and ready to strike.

"The Daedra has a name you know!" Xivi turned to Shaon with an annoyed tilt of his head, "It is Korangar Visinam, and I serve my Mother whom you also follow." Xivi put his hands up as to show he was not going to fight, he dropped them slowly with a whisper, "And you might want to keep it down, I can hear the other patrons downstairs and it got a little quiet on their end." He still stared at the two with drawn weapons with his fingers twitching and ready for a spell.

His deep red cloak flickered with his movements, and with his arms up he looked positively harmless. Well, mostly harmless as there was still the daedric look about him.

"Listen, I know he isn't working for the Morag Tong alright?" Leo said. "They won't make another move like this, not in the Imperial City. Assassins fighting assassins in the open? Like a damned guild war? We don't do that! Its bad for business for the both of us!"

Leo took a moment to calm himself.

"I know its unusual... but tell me... have you ever seen such a... different looking daedra? And if he is a spy, it matters not, his life will be forfeit soon enough. We can use all the help we need. At nightfall I think it would be best if we began to head east. We won't steal horses, that will leave a trail. They aren't going to expect us to hit them on their own turf. We will pick up acolytes from the Cheydinhal sanctuary on the way. So forget about the Dwarves, and Sithis help us, we are not heading to Black Marsh, or anywhere near Bravil."

Leo almost mentioned the Night Mother's presence in Bravil, but decided against it in case Xivi was really a spy.

"So... Korangar... looks like you're with us for now."
