He looked at the command console for a few seconds. Another few seconds, and he was inside the Network.

"Let's look at the recent politics..."

What he saw shocked him to the core.

"No... I brought you some asprins..." She held up the glass of water the small medicine bottle. "They're pretty effective, and I saw your status in the monitor log... so..." She hoped her words were going somewhere. Riyoku smiled a little. Tank was the only person she's ever been able to smile for. He was so optimistic, it seemed awkward if she didn't do it once in a while, even to her.

((Sorry I'm late. When ever I was about to get here something came up. Sorry.))

He returned the gesture with a warm smile. "Haha thanks. Much appreciated." He promptly took the medicine and downed the water, already feeling the pain starting to lessen. "That's some pretty potent stuff! X, you shoulda told me we had some of this. I gotta get a bottle for my room."

With the boon of strength, Belg felt ready to do the impossible, despite what his body was really feeling. He smiled again. "Haha, but I doubt you came here just to deliver some medicine for me. Tell me what's happening." His face seemed locked into that beaming smile. "You can trust me."

"I'm fairly certain it's just aspirin. I have some bad news. The Resistance leaders are wanting us to surrender, because most of our bases are already occupied primarily by clones. There's probably half a dozen members of the Congressional Board that are clones, but we have no way of sorting them out. They're calling it quits."

He stepped inside, waiting for a second. "Well, isn't anyone going to ask if I double-checked my sources? Anyone going to ask how I found this out? Doesn't anyone here still give a damn about security?! For God's sake, this is what is happening across the globe. We're getting lax. South America's base is reportedly 89% clones. Europe is just below 70%. Here, we only have a 15% infiltration rate, but that's because there's so few real people left. Naturally, they're cautious."

"I trust your resources." Riyoku replied softly. "That's why we're taking down every single north american threat... in two hours." Her tone was full of determination. It was unearthly, almost.

"It will be very risky, and we will have to make many sacrifices, which include this very base most probably. But it'll be worth it." She continued, "The clones believe themselves to be the best, and such a feat they can't accomplish will cause them to be suspicious of the land bodies they are unconnected to. By destroying North America's spawning facilities and a good portion of many other sectors, we will rouse their suspicion towards each other. This will undoubtedly create a severe clone world war. And when they suffer in the aftermath, we make the final strike."

Her eyes were flashing with a light unseen from her before, "Three gates, three points. The minimum number of points to form a plane. One plane is the minimum surface needed to complete this task. You two will station yourselves near the eastern and western coast lines, a hundred miles in or so. That way the magnitude of what is to occur won't sweep you into the ocean."

"I'm going to be at a point between you. When you see the bird shaped light flare in lightning over the godstorm, that is your signal to latch your powers onto my gate."

Riyoku lowered her eyes, "From that point on, I cease to be human. I will become only gate power, and this gate and its creatures will belong to the two of you. I will belong to one of you." This is the longest she has ever spoken. She had decided that she would do anything, even destroy her own body. If the end result is the destruction of the clones.

Her watch beeped and she looked down at it. "We better go. I'll drop each of you off by the Ultralight." Riyoku produced the key to her air craft and headed towards the hangar. There was an essence of uncertainty around her.

Riyoku looked up in the same not cold nor warm way. "I'm going to swallow myself into my own gate and destroy my body. When you latch on to my gate, I can channel between the both of you and unleash the full power of the gate. When it is finished, one of you will have half three creatures from my gate, and the other will have two, and me." Her explaination was short and succinct. "This is the only way you two can survive to see the world freed. You can figure out how to make me human afterwards." She tugged free of Tank, "I doubt it'll work though."

"This is completely insane. You don't have all the facts. Do you even know why the Perfect system has lasted for so damn long? It's because it's perfect in every possible way. No one can get into their government and work it apart. No such thing as suspicion among them. If we destroy this continent's spawning facilities, their people will just shrug and send more people in. Regard it as an aberration of the master plan. It's impossible to create a clone civil war because each compartment of the clone system trusts every other compartment completely. It's a trait all clones are born with, and one that we humans lack. Of course, they're taught to distrust us...

"The only way we'll even have a crack at unsettling them is if we simultaneously destroy all five facilities. That means ours, South America's, Africa's, Eurasia and the Australs..."

He took a few steps around.

"I've got it. We can mount a series of light skirmishes upon not the cloning facilities, but the central government. Assasinate a few important members. Blow up a few buildings, make a few holocausts...come in with a bang and leave just as fast. It'll take more time, but it'll be more effective. Less Resistance casualties. In between these attacks, we go and contact whoever we can, enlist help from other continents. Get some bio-suits. Construct blue rinses; that's our real plan. Something to wipe out large numbers of their population at a time. A disease, perhaps an ultra-fast AIDS virus. There's still no vaccine for it because it mutates so fast.

"Suicide, at this point, is not an option. There are all sorts of things we haven't tried yet. And X. You're so intent on getting yourself killed. You can do much more by living and helping us. So, what do you guys think?"

"The only reason the Perfects are called what they are, is because they are perfect...to us. No such thing as true organic perfection, or else we would've lost this war a long time ago. Their government is an exception, but this is beside the point."

He breathes in, breathes out. "That's what skirmishes are for: to buy us time. Actually, Tank...I think you're in command. Technically, I'm a mercenary; I'm a simulated sergeant, while you're a lieutenant. I read your profile. Sir."

Riyoku thought for several long moments. Styx made a much better point. He more human than she was, yet he thought better. I'm getting too soft headed. she thought to herself with the shadow of an imaginary smile. "This is a point of politics and government policies, and I am adequate at neither points." Her eyes held uncertainty, "In case if you have any confusion, I suggested the sector commander to move you up before he got blown up. Age before numbers." She added.

"My opinion is neither all out destruction nor biological warfare... For one thing, we will not be immune to biological warfare, so if there is an accident...I'm sure you understand. Especially you, Tank. You know my stats... All out destruction cannot be completed by only three of us without the 'suicide' plan. No other sector except for Brazil has any will to fight any more. They have a population of four, two of which are paralyzed and the other two with severe illnesses."

"If we assasinate leaders and such, it takes approximately a day for all replacements to be put in place... We have 24 hours to disturb every important nation in the world. At the pace the ultralight can go, we'd be short by two countries." She thought for a moment, about what they could afford to lose and what they couldn't.

"Styx, which two are in more political favor of the global clone units?" She asked, getting out her notepad and and pencil. She could feel the effects of asprin already wearing off... guess it wasn't compatible with her body after all.

"I'd would say, perhaps, the greater part of India and Pakistan."

"Great, they can die first." She mapped out the routes of shortest possible flights and the maximum amount of aerial bombs they can carry. The sodium supply ran out on the last mission. Riyoku tapped the page impatiently. Her brain wasn't moving as fast as usual and her muscles were sore again. The asprins didn't last longer than twenty minutes for her. She would have to be careful while piloting. After several seconds, she gave up on trying to conjure her next thought. It wasn't going to come.

"Any other suggestions? I am completely out of ideas at this point." She handed the notebook to Styx. "You should probably take over for this one. I don't know what I'm doing anymore." She flinched when she moved, her muscle fibers burning.

"Haha, you're a smart one. Yeah, I'm slightly higher, but too be honest, I consider X at a much higher rank than me. She practically keeps this base going, single-handedly, so you can understand why." He smiled his same smile before he started listening to the two of them discuss the plans.

He decided to put in some input. "Well... This is only a suggestion. But like you said, we need some ideas." He stopped to best word what he was going to say next. "What if, instead of murdering the Perfect leaders of the world, we steal there cloning technology? I realize that's the stuff that got us in this trouble in the first place, but it can possibly fix things as well."

His tone deepened, getting more serious now. "All we have to is make them mindless drones instead of killing machines. As long as we produce more than them, we can outnumber them." His face lightened and he smiled again. "I bet anything that X could make it work. Her brain can work numbers like they're nothing."

He took a deep breath chewing on his own words. "Of course... This is only brainstorming. This plan is flawed and very dangerous. There's a chance that they have tracking devices in their equipment to keep constant tabs on it, or that we might not even get them to work. But they say good ideas come from the creatively stupid, sometimes."
