Plus I forgot to mention Chichiri is huggable. That's my bishie rule, they have to be huggable. blaugh

Yes, if you look back in the 13th volume of the manga you'll see how he acts in his death. It's very tear-jerking if I say so myself. By the way, Why were people scared of him since he was from that tribe? In his childhood I mean, that's always confused me and Watase-sensei never put in an explanation.

Seiryuu:

1.Yui - She's like the best looking girl and almost only girl too. She's smart and pretty and can come back to her senses in a matter of minutes.
2.Nakago - That power of his pretty cool! And he does look prettier that any woman (besides Yui) xp .
3.Amiboshi - So amazingly polite! Unlike his brother, Suboshi... stare

Suzaku:

1.Nuriko - He looks like a girl but he's amazingly strong. Noble and has some sick jokes there too. He's huggable. (Master Nakago probably is but I wouldn't want to sweatdrop )
2.Chichiri-A monk. come on isn't that cool? And he's so damn cute when he's turn chibi!!!!!!! heart
3.Chiriko - I wish I was as smart as him crying . Alas, not all can have that luxury...

I think I can answer that...the whole tribe was hated...perhaps not feared, but either can garnish the same result because they were followers of Tenkou. If you have seen or read the Oni, you know who Tenkou is. Thats further explained in Seiran Den...of which I read a translation online because I think I might qualify for obsessed when it comes to Nakago sweatdrop

Chiriko-who? Kidding!! Never did care for him, even when he served his purpose like he should have.

That's how the character was written to be...Make him the villian from the beginning and only at the end reveal him...and they didn't quite get it all...Seiran Den lets you know the rest.

Chiriko's nice but then so is Mitsukake and to a certain degree, Tamahome, but they blur and don't distinguish themselves in my mind like Chichiri, Nuriko, Tasuki or Hotohori would.
