ilovebecky s.p.a.d.e ilovebecky s.p.a.d.e ilovebecky ShahkyreThis is my baby boy Shahkyre. He is 17 years old, and is a flea bitten grey, but he looks a bit dirty in this photo because he has he's winter coat so the flea bites merge together-he is clean I promise! I have had him 4 years now, but have ridden for 11. Shahkyre is a pure breed arab by Shahpoor and Kyarie (I think that's how you spell her name) He is so cute! He looks so much like my arab. And hey, Estar (pronouced E-Star) is 17 too! Scary.... E-booger EstarAwww yours is soo cute too! Hmmm spooky, maybe they're related...do you live in the UK? Otherwise they may be distant relatives hehe whee Must be very distant. Heh, I live in Iowa. xP Corn... By chance, is he Egyptian Arabian? Wow that would be very distant! No he's not Egyptian Arabian..well not unless I was never told heh! How long have you had Estar? Not too long. 2 1/2 years I think. He was abandoned and I adopted him. Same with the paint in the other pictures. She acually wasn't abandoned, but her owner didn't trust, nor come out to see her ever and the people who worked at the barn mentaly and physically abused her (we are no longer boarding there). Meany heads. mad

Meany heads. mad Awww that's really sad crying I've had Shahkyre for 4 years now, but he's owners mistreated him too, we found out after we bought him off them, that the mother (it was the mother and daughter who owned him) was sent to prison for a while for animal cruelty and had all her other horses taken off her! Shah (thats his shortened name, said Shar) has some bald patches on him, that we think might be cigarette burns sad but he's much better now with me biggrin what type of riding do you do with Estar?

Oh, just trails. He has joint problems so we don't try to push him alot. Every once and a while though we go ahead and gallop him when we find a big field, and let me tell you, he goes. Its really sad acually, you can tell he wants to just keep going, but his body can't handle it. He was kept down in a paddock the size of a 8'x8' stall with no shelter from the elements for 6 years! He was like a new horse once we started working with him though. And I'm sorry about Shahkyre! I can't stand some people. How can they do that to horses. It's just sick.

Pft, that's not crazy, that's just Arab. xd
[My] Silver acts like that all the time (luckily he's learned by now that that's not how he's supposed to act when I'm RIDING him)... for that matter, that was the first thing he did when we got him and put him in the pasture. Start running around like an idiot trying to ruffle the other horses' feathers so they'd chase him. razz

I know what you mean, when I let Shah go he really goes, and wants to keep going, but he gets sore feet so he can't keep sad People who abuse horses really are sick, I dont know how they could want to ever hurt a horse, they are such beautiful animals. Shahkyre (and horses in general) = love heart

But always seems to find more nasty little tricks.
