Garrat made no reply for a while and merely attempted to sleep. "Go to sleep and let me do my job properly," he ordered, on the verge of growling. He had been keeping in his frustration too long. He felt that he needed to scream, but it was too late at night to do so. "No more games... alright?"

Nathaniel was expecting that usual handsome smile and then he'd get that sweet warmth like he got that night before. But then Garrat turned him away and Nathan shrunk from the pain that stung in his chest from his words. But despite his feelings, he couldn't be too upset with Garrat. His knight deserved to be frustrated, after all.. Nathaniel was a handful. He retreated to bed and frowned, but then nodded contently, "Alright, Garrat... no more games.." he murmured and coddled under the blankets, turning his back to his knight. Closing his eyes, Nathan tried to get to sleep.

Now Garrat was starting to feel bad. He didn't mean to hurt Nathaniel's feelings and there was no justification for doing so. Sighing once again, he climbed into the bed with the prince and hugged him. "Sorry. I don't know what I was thinking," he said. "Let's just sleep."

Nathan was already working on getting some sleep when he felt the other body make his way in bed. That feeling and hearing his voice made Nathan turn over and cuddle in Garrat's chest. All was forgiven. "Okay, Garrat~.." He purred and wrapped his arms around the knight's neck.

Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to do so, but Garrat immediately dozed off. Well, he was a rather light sleeper, so he would know if something were to happen. He still worried a bit, even in his sleep, holding onto Nathaniel as if in fear someone might take him away or worse.

The truth about the game was that Nathan got scared and decided to hide, but when Garrat came back in, he assumed the argument went alright and decided to make a silly game out of it. But Garrat was asleep, and disturbing him while he looked so peaceful resting seemed like a sin. Something seemed worrisome in the whole castle now.
The next morning, Garrat would wake up alone but with a tray of food on the bedside. Nathan was dressed and washed but was wearing black attire. He had asked for a horse so Garrat and he could get away from the stress about the castle, but the horse was withdrawn as his mother stopped. So now he'd wait for Garrat to awaken. But another knock came to the door and, assuming it was Nana went to open it, only to stop in his tracks when the knocking grew harder. "Nathan! Let me in!" It sounded like Hamish. The blonde Prince burst in through the door before Nathan to reply. The door swung open and smacked Nathan right in nose. "OW!" He squealed.

Garrat had been startled by the door bursting open and sat up immediately. He wasn't sure how to react to seeing Hamish in the room. "Do you need something, sire?" the knight asked as he got off the bed. Had Richard left already, perhaps? Was there more urgent news? Or was it that damned request again? Garrat almost dreaded Hamish's reason for being here.

Hamish was in a state of panic. He was rambling about how preparations were in order and they were too hectic on him! Both Nathan and Hamish didn't have to be burdened with so much responsibilities because they were the youngest. But now that Joseph and Manureva were gone, the weight fell on to Hamish's shoulders. But although Hamish looked the part of a King, he relied on everyone and grew anxious when under pressure "I- I can't handle it, Nathan! I don't know what to do.." he sobbed and collapsed on Nathan's bed.
"Hamish, what preparations?" Nathaniel, rubbing his sore nose. The blonde looked up, his eyes red and puffy as he caught his breath. "The search to find Joseph's body..." he told.
Nathan glanced at Hamish, his shoulders slumped and a sad frown formed on his face. Then, he took in a deep breath and took his brother's shoulders and gave a soft reassuring smile. "Alright, Hamish... I'll lead the team and go searching for him. Don't worry..." he smiled and stood back and glanced back at Garrat a bit of a pleading smile.

"I suppose I should depart to search soon?" Garrat asked. He had forgotten that Joseph's body had yet to be found. Considering that such responsibilities had suddenly fell on Hamish, it would make sense that he would feel overwhelmed. "I can ask the captain where he had been ambushed. The body could not have been far from there."

Nathan smiled and took off down the hall, out the corridor and towards the stables. "Alright, I'll head to the stables and get the search party ready. Meet me in the courtyard when you have the coordinates. " he told. This was an odd side of Nathan that not very many people got to see. He was much more orderly under pressure than his siblings. However, he had a feeling, his parents wouldn't be much help here. They were probably still grieving.
Outside, Nathan had managed to acquire a small team of about five other soldiers and awaited for Garrat's return, mounted on a thin black and white mare.

Garrat headed to the courtyard as was ordered. He was smiled at the prince's appropriate maturity, but did wish that he exhibited such more often. Well, now was not the time for wishful thinking.
Perhaps while he would be out looking for what remained of Joseph, he might look for Manuerva as well. The princess had yet to return and her reasons for running away were still unknown. Garrat suspected for a moment that her disappearance was related to Joseph's death somehow, but he could not make any real claims without evidence.

Nathan smiled and reached down to pull Garrat up. "Ride with me?" he smiled, forgetting that they were out in public. "Did you find out where we're going?" he asked.

"I haven't seen the captain yet, " Garrat said. "I'll be right back." With that, the knight headed to the healer's, where he was sure the captain and other guards were still recovering from their wounds from the ambush.

In the healing room, only the captain was resting. He woke up and saw Garrat there and greeted the man. The healer was no where to be seen at the moment. "Ah! .. Garrat, miboy!" he he grinned with staggered breaths. "What are ye doing here? Shouldn't you be patrolin' the grounds?" he asked.

Garrat had forgotten about that. "My apologies, sir, but I'm planning to help search for Prince Joseph's body. For that, I need to know where you last saw him," the knight explained. "Or at least let me know what I should look for to see if I'm close."
