Kes shook her head, "No it's fine. It's natural to be excited. I'd love for your dream to come true, for all of us." She grinned at the other girls. "That reminds me, have either of you heard anything about when to expect the next flight or hatching? Anything. Being here is okay, I suppose, but I'd rather have more to do than sit around waiting." Translation: Kes was bored.

Miara shook her head. "No... I haven't herd anything about a hatching, but there should be one relitivly soon if there searching for us." She shrugged. "I'm sure that we won't have to wait to long, your right, things could start to get a little boring around here."

Cali sat up and smiled sadly. "I'd guess they don't want to change their lives so quickly," she said. "But I could be wrong. I personally wouldn't mind it. It'll be fun."

((No clue. Hey, come to my guild please!! I need good Pern rpers. It's called Dragonfire: Dragonriders of Pern rp. I only have about three members and practically no one's got their profile up. It makes me sad. See? --> crying ))
Cali laughed a bit, and shook her head. "Most people have been dreaming of being dragonriders for so long they forget that their lives change dramatically. The reality hits them when they're actually faced with Impression." She shrugged. She'd heard tales of how people had backed out of Impression because they said they 'didn't feel like they could handle the responsiblity.' She didn't believe a word of it. They were scared to change their lives.

Kes smiled sadly. "That's true, and when they do back out after Impression, it causes lots of trouble for the poor hatchling that chose them. It's sad really."
((I'll take a look at it. I like rping DRop. I have a guild of my own too, but it's a Winx Club guild. I only have 3 members so I know how you feel.))

((It's a show that comes on fox13 on saturdays. It's about witches and fairies. It's hard to explain if you haven't seen it before.))
Kes shook her head. "The dragon doesn't make a mistake about who it's partner will be. They just know. Just because the candidite doesn't want them doesn't make the dragon wrong. It just make that candidite either very scared or really stupid."

Kes turned to face Miara. "Yes well, it happens. The person the dragon impresses is so scared of the poor thing that the candidite rejects the dragon and the dragon goes between and often times kills both of them."

Cali looked away and fought down tears. death was a sore subject for her.
"Can we talk about something else?" she asked, proud that her voice was steady. "After all, Hatchings are supposed to be happy, not sad."
((This is just really hard for me rp without repeating myself, since it's mainly a simple matter of candidate is afraid, hatchling goes between, candidate is heartbroken, everyone cries, life goes on. I have no further comments on the subject.))
