This time Anakin's missed a tree, tumbling to the ground in a small grassy patch. He was interested in finding out who he was fighting, but he assumed he would find out in time.

The Sith used his lightsaber to cut down a tree that fell towards Anakin. He watched as the tree came closer to Anakin. He knew the boy would move but what way...?

Anakin didn't even think, but rather moved back, letting the tree seperate him and his opponent. Yes, it did mean he would lose visual contact, but it gave him a second to get his bearings.

The Sith Lord wanted Anakin to jump behind. Him losing sight of the man he was fighting would be a down fall. He turned of his lightsaber and jumped over the tree. The darkness of his robes hiding him in the darkness of the night. One when he was coming down near Anakin did he turn his lightsaber on. When he landed he was a few feet infront of Anakin. He then attacked swinging the lightsaber sideways like if to cut Anakin's lower body from his top. If Anakin couldn't block this he would force push him away before the attack hit.

Anakin took a few moments to catch his breath. The night was quiet. Maybe jumping behind the tree had been a bad idea. Oh well, no time to doubt himself. He held his lightsaber at the ready. He was suprised when his opponent landed before him. He made a clumsy block, saving himself from being slice in half, instead he was simply pushed back, thrown a little off balance.

The Man growled and Force Jumped high into the trees lost in the darkness.

Anakin was able to catch his balance, which suprised him. Most fighters would have taken advantage of that moment...wouldn't they? When his opponent disappeared in the trees he knew he was still being toyed with. And it wasn't funny anymore. He waited, listening, gathering his anger and frustration at the situation.

"Leave my mother out of this..." Anakin clutched his weapon tighter, feeling the anger grow, feeling it go to a new place entirely. "I will kill you, and when I am done, they will not be a piece left of you to recognize." His voice held an eerie calmness, brought by the anger. He was one with the force, and he didn't even realize it, nor did he care.

Anakin's power could be felt so clearly. "Good Anakin". Anakin's enemy started to come out of the Trees. But this time his lightsaber was near his face revealing Maul to be that man. "You have done great. You have done what everyone else but me and our Master has said you couldn't. You can not just use the force but you are the force now..."

Anakin remained still, ready to fight, even as Maul revealed himself. It took a few moments to click in the boys head who his opponent was, and then he completely relaxed, losing that connection to the force. He did not speak, what was he supposed to say? He switched off his weapon and took a seat on a nearby tree stump. "Wha...? What do you mean?"
