Deidra smiled faintly and merely listened to Tasuki's humming and the vibration in his chest. She soon closed her eyes and sort of wandered between sleep and consciousness.

Deidra shifted and before falling completely asleep, she murmured softly "Will you stay with me?" before Morpheus claimed her.

Meanwhile, while Deidra and Tasuki were talking, Dawn was tearing a short roll of parchment that was knifed to a tree a few miles away, far off of the Enyart property. She read the parchment and her eyes narrowed dangerously before the piece of paper erupted into green flames in her hands. Dawn clenched her fists and cursed aloud. "Damn those traitors." she mounted her horse, Tsuki, once more and pocketed the knife the letter came with. She turned Tsuki around and headed back towards the castle grounds at a gallop. Overhead, Dawn saw small clouds forming in the distant mountains and cursed. "Lovely, rain..." she didn't sound as happy as her sister had mentioned it. AS she rode she sensed rather than heard the sound of the running feet of four legged creatures. Wolves. she thought and quietly drew up enough power as to not scare her horse into a panic. Then she definitely heard the deep breathing of the creatues and the low growling escaping their throat. Tsuki, sensing his mistress' tension, picked up some speed and took a different path to the castle to throw off their pursuers.

Dawn concentrated and a wall of green fire appeard behind them, in an attempt to get rid of the pursuers and heard a outraged yelp and loud snarling and sensed some of the pack fall back. When she heard the hunting call, it seemed like the blood in Dawn's veins had frozen into ice. That howl was no ordinary howl, it was too deep and more humanlike. Werewolves... She urged her steed faster and aimed to try to liure them away from the castle grounds. She took a visible deer trail and took it to a trail that lead up to the mountains. She saw a form rise up out of the corner of her eye and blasted it to whatever it hellhole it came from. It's snarl cut short as the hit connected and it disappeared out of sight.

The masked figure raised his head at the howl of the werewolf and within a split he had disappeared off in the directio of the chase, drawing a silver arrow out of the quiver. He leaped up into a tree and took aim. He watched as Dawn rode her horse, which sported a few deep scratch marks, straight to a dead end and had unmounted to face her attackers. He saw the air around her shimmer with power and realized that this was no weak magic wielder. As soon as the leader of the pack had crouched to leap on her, the masked figure drew the string and as the beast jumped, he let it loose and watched the wolf go stiff in mid air and drop dead to the ground.

Deidra woke up at once. "Eh..what is it, Tasu-" she cut off as she also felt the shift of power leading from the woods and tensed. "She may be getting attacked." she cocked her head to the side and listened to the battle from far away.

Deidra frowned and listened harder. It couldn't be...butthere were actually two human hearts beating and in the same area as the other. "What does this mean..." she muttered.
