Kyo smiled at her, and beckoned the matrons . They carried the 2 bundles over and handed one to Kyo and Rin each. Kyo beamed down at his daughter. She had bright red hair and red eyes, and but also tiny fox ears were beginning to grow on her head, Kyo smiled at Rin,"She just like her mother...except the eyes." Kyo cradled the shild in his arms carefully, and looked over at Rin.

The valheru's small battalion had come across an unsuspecting camp of ico soldiers. With a war cry around 40 odd men charged at the camp killing and maiming all that they could. Ashen rahman also charged in, fufilling his blood supply. By the end of the tiny battle, the ico soldiers were dead, half of them couldnt even get to their weapons in time for the attack. They were like lambs to the slaughter. A few ico rebels had died and now, the unit was down to 35 able men.
The valheru had been accepted as the leader of the group. but still no one spoke to him, they didnt like his primordial ways and were certainly unimpressed by his speech the day before. If one thing could be said about him though, he knew when to attack. Being they're leader had allowed them to surge to victory on two separate occasions now, and they followed him because of this.
Ashen rahman had also kept an eye out for 'his' men. He wasnt one of them but he knew they had a better chance if all men were able to fight. He had particularly noticed one man. He wore bits of armour and carried a two handed sword, he was impressive with it and helped the men alot. The valheru thought of making him his lead man, but he would have to get him to trust him first.

She smiled softly, taking her other child, her infant daughter, into her arms. Kina's crimson eyes opened and reached up to her mother's face. Never in her life had Rin held two things so precious to her and she vowed to never let them be harmed and kept them both in her arms.

As Rayne was preparing his troops and all the strategies that he have planned out , but he still needed a second group just in any situation that the first group fails. He rallied in all the troops and seeing that they were all excited for another victor, yet he was the only one that remained silence. Seeing that everyone was about to overcome with too much excitement he raised his hand into the air and signaled everyone to become silent. Everyone did so and suddenly the whole entire room became silent at that very moment, but Rayne had a feeling that this battle is going to be tougher so he decided to use his new swordsmen style.

It was a natural sense that he have developed that somehow this battle was going to be not as simple as the Ico clan members think it is because he usually knows that the generals are more skilled and he have shrewd idea of this one might be planning , yet still it was not a clear picture. As everyone was starting to leave the area , Rayne signaled the second group which were filled with Ico scouts and he planned that they should go ahead to the sixth base to launch a siege in that area. Rayne started to move very swiftly into the forest , but this time he decided to be more cautious even though he knows that something or someone may not be out there.

The only thing that caught his eye was a strange beacon of light that was in the air. He suppose that it was signal of where the base was and told the rest of the group to be on their guard. They all started to move swiftly with great speed and Rayne was leaping from tree to tree, moving very silently.

As Rayne continued moving through the trees, Strange....the area...it is to calm....something is very different... He thought to himself as he continued leaping from tree to tree following the shining beacon and its rays that came from the sky. He kept moving and started to get very suspicious because he would usually see Ico rebels moving about the perimeter, but he thought this through and was taking great caution seeing that no one was guarding the area. Most of the Ico clan members seem to not worry too much on the situation and Rayne thought that it was a foolish decision about not scanning and examining the area . He was approaching the base now as he could see that the fort was seemingly filled with nothing, but dust was the only thing that was visible on the ground itself. Rayne was becoming even more suspicious about the situation and told everyone to keep their guard up.

Arrode, as always, was tired of waiting. She leaped high into the sky and freefell down onto the ground in front of the fort. She knew that even though she was bright, there were other forms of surprise. Yet something told her that the surprise attack wouldn't work. They were acting extremely cautious this time. The general she was about to face wasn't an average one. This guy knew his stuff. She tried to sense that strong prescence again. It radiated around her...surrounding her...everywhere. She couldn't put her finger on it but it was outside the moderate range for an attack. They were constantly trying to avoid each other...but at the same time tried to confront. This reminded her of tricky situations in which the slightest mistake costed dearly. Even chess, a game consisting of sixty-four squares, was a pretty complicated one.

Rayne spotted something that was just in plain sight, a glowing being that seems to bounded in armor. Just at that moment he spotted the glowing being he leaped down from the trees moving in Tsuubun Daichi form. This technique made him travel at bullet time and this gave him time to unsheath his chikai tantou ken ( short dagger sword) which was about three feet in length. He started teared and erroded the ground itself, since the speed that he traveled in caused him to move with immense speed and force. Just as he was approaching the being with great speed, he halted in front of the being and spinned the sharp edges of the blade itself causing the huge draft of winds that followed up to sharpen its edges. As the wind started to follow up with the technique that have sharpened the wind, Rayne launched a powerful slash that cut through the air causing a invisible shockwave that went through with the swing .All of this was directed towards the opponent that was in front of him. This technique required great speed....and...force...that is why...it was called....Torio Hirameki Ten Daichi Kizu ( Trio Flash Heaven Ground Cut) ....the succession technique of the style...which there are almost three layers of...the slashs.. He thought to himself as the technique was excuted.
