Sidnay islanders_CO39 She nodded her head before closing her eyes. She tucked her head beneath his chin as he held her and fell asleep within his arms. Kyo fell asleep beside Rin. HE awoke some time later. He could tell it was the early morning. He got up and stared out the window. The flames licked very low, and a grey atmospher over the castle courtyard. He stood there deep in thought. He was now a married man, a soon to be father, an eventual king of the netherworld, and now had vanqueished the rebels. it had beena busy few days. He looke d abck at Rin who was soundly asleep, and he felt his heart skip a beat. He knew he loved herdevotedly, but he felt as though their courtship had been rushed maybe too quickly...but whatever, she was his now. He walked over to her and saw her sleeping so peacefully. He gently kissed her chin, and lay back down beside her. It would be a hot day he could tell so he took off his pajama top and lay next to her still deep in thought.

He smiled down at her and said,'How do you both feel this morning?" than slighlty mroe seriously,"Rin you shuld be gettingyour rest, why are you up this early?"

She looked down at her stomach which was now MUCH bigger than it had been earlier. When she first awoke it only looked like she was 5 months pregnant, however, now it looked like she was 9 months pregnant and could have the child at anytime, which worried her slightly. "Well I....I'm just thinking about what we should name him or her....I like Ryo for a boy, it combines my name and yours, but I will let you choose if its a girl..." She sighed softly, keeping her head against his chest. She couldnt believe how quickly the child had developed and grown, but with demon and elf blood mixing it explained mostly why. "The baby should be born anytime or anyday now...I know he or she is ready, but....I'm afraid....my mother died giving birth to me, my aunt nearly died giving birth to my nephew....all the women in my family...have always had problems with giving birth...." Her face showed her extreme worry, as did her golden eyes when she looked up at him.

Youll have the best doctors available to help you, so the mina thing is to just no worry about it."he kissed her forehead,"You need to relax Rin...the more you worry and fret, the worse it will be, just...relax. And knwo that I love you no matter what."he took her hand in his, and stroked it,"I cant wait to see what our child is..."he pulled her up so she was level with his face and he stared into her beautiful eyes kindly,'You are gonna be the best mother."he kissed her softly on the mouth.

She seemed to drift off and remain asleep for quite a while and then it was dark outside, it was a special day in the Netherworld when there was only 2 hours of daylight and then the rest was in darkness. Awaking in an instant, she was breathing heavily and her eyes looked in pain. "Kyo......." The look on her face would have given it away to anybody that she was ready to have their child now.

The look on her face would have given it away to anybody that she was ready to have their child now. kyo looked astonished,"Wha...wha NOW!" he sprang up and ran into the corridor and began to shout for help. Doctors and nurses, who had been told to wait for this to happen, ran into the room and barred the door from Kyo since it had to be private. kyo had to be restrained by 3 guards and 2 nurses from running into the room to be with Rin. MEANWHILE in the Room. Nurses and doctros croweded around Rin, and began to tlak in medical jargaon that is very confusing, and will not be attempted to pronoune,"Ok shes going into labour...Rin we need to you to breath like the matrons tell you to and push when we say to push. If you would like some anastthetic at any time jus tell us. Ok and 1...2...3...PUSH!"

She was confused and afraid and she didnt want to be alone in the room with these people, she desperately wanted Kyo to be with her. She did everything they told her to and as she pushed she felt ripping pain with caused her to scream out and start to cry.

islanders_CO39 She was confused and afraid and she didnt want to be alone in the room with these people, she desperately wanted Kyo to be with her. She did everything they told her to and as she pushed she felt ripping pain with caused her to scream out and start to cry. The doctors looked on and tried everything they knew. Outside kyo heard Rin screaming and he struggled even more against the guards,"RIN!" The head doctor looked at his crew at said,"Ok were gonna need to gett he child out manually."a screan was put around RIn so she couldnt see what they were doning. They stuck a large needle full of anasceptic (sic?) and put it into Rin. They than tok a scalpal and put her womb carefully open and extracted the child carefully. Thna to thier surprise someone said,"There another and pulled out a second, equally carefully,"Ok we need to stich her up carefully, make sure it wont leave a scar or his highness will have our hides..."the doctors cut the umbilical chords on the shilder and rushed them into some blankets. Outside Kyo would hear the sound of children crying and, he again struggled even further against the guards.

She lay on the bed, in extreme pain and short of breaths. She saw that they had twins, a boy and girl, which made her smile weakly. Then she heard Kyo outside and she screamed for him as she lay there. Never in her life had she felt so much pain and she desperately wanted to be with him.

islanders_CO39 She lay on the bed, in extreme pain and short of breaths. She saw that they had twins, a boy and girl, which made her smile weakly. Then she heard Kyo outside and she screamed for him as she lay there. Never in her life had she felt so much pain and she desperately wanted to be with him. A matron walked into the room calmly and said,"Doctor can hi highness come in I dont think we can hold him anymore." the doctor gave a weak smile and nodded his head. HE noticed Rins bleeding had almost competely stopped and her stitches were done in such a way that when they were removed there wqould be no scar to speak of. Kyo ran into the room looked around than saw rin. He ran over to her side, and took her hand in his and looked into her eyes and sia,"Darling...how was it...how do you feel...are you alright?" he asked thes questions in rapid sccessision.

She turned her head weakly to look at him, her eyes showed her pain and weakness as she gently stroked the side of his face. Her hand fell from his face as she looked up at the ceiling breathing slowly and irregularaly for sometime.

islanders_CO39 She turned her head weakly to look at him, her eyes showed her pain and weakness as she gently stroked the side of his face. Her hand fell from his face as she looked up at the ceiling breathing slowly and irregularaly for sometime. Kyo took her hand again and held it there. A doctor quietly said to kyo,"She needs to rest, after what shes been through. Give her some time to rest up. Shell be in alot of pain for a little while, but were gonna have staff in here monitering her constantly, and Im going to allow you to stay with her as well, just dont cause her any stress.'Kyo nodded and thanked the doctors and nurses. They left except for a doctor and severl nurses who made themselves comforable and stayed in the room. Kyo saw Rin breathing slowly,"Rin its alright IM here with you. he got up and lay next to Rin on the bed, holding her in his arms,"im with you..."

"You have a son....and a daughter....Ryo and Kina..." She smiled weakly at him as she turned her head to face him. However, when he wrapped his arms around her, she immediately put her arms around her stomach so he would hit her stitches. It was uncomfortable to lay that way and it was visible on her face that she didnt want him to know about her new stitches.

However, when he wrapped his arms around her, she immediately put her arms around her stomach so he would hit her stitches. It was uncomfortable to lay that way and it was visible on her face that she didnt want him to know about her new stitches. Kyo smiled at her,"Im proud of you." he kissed her hands,"You made it through. I cant ask anymore from anyone."he than said,'you need to rest. Are you hungry? Thirsty? what do you need?"
