Kyo stared at her as she slept. Creepy indee dbut he is a demon. She looked radiant in her sleep, and Kyo felt an overwhalming desire to kiss her, but he let her sleep peacefully. He kicked off his shoes and lay next to her not sleeping but meditating on many thing. Evenautlla he nudged Rin,"Its time to get ready, my love." he opened the wardrobe for her so she could choose what to wear. He himself wore, a red Hakama, and put his ceremonial Wakaisachi in his sach. he had put bit no daichi used for war above the firplace.

Kyo smiled at her and walked over to her and kissed her,"You look gorgeous, sweetheart."he took her arm and walked down into the hall. The hall was elaborately decorated withribbon, and servantsd went o and fro with platters of food. Kyo walked thorgh the dor and the hall burst out in applause,. kyo walked up to an elevated table where the highest ranking nobles sat. Kyo pulled out a chair for Rin and sat down between his grandfather and Rin. Kyos grandfatehrs rapped his glass with his knife and said,"I ropose a toast to my grandson and his new Wife may they have many happy years together!" this was greeted to achorus of 'Here here's, Kyos grandfather sat down and the feast began.

Kyo smiled to her soothingly. He stood up and said in a loud voice,"Ladies and Gentleman of the court, i have an announcement to make. The succession of my family will continue on the throne as the lady Rin is With child!" the great hall broke out into cheers and whoops, and applause, and Kyos hrandfather said,"In that case i think perhaps the newlyweds should take an early evening, but that is by no means mean th eparty is over. Drinks and food will still be served all night." he pulled them into a hug again, and let them go. Kyo smiled and siad to Rin,"Maybe we should go back to the room and relax for a while..."he took her hand and pulled her along gently back to the room, and closed the door behind him. He lit a fire in the fireplace (nnot a difficult task for the netherworld) and walked back to Rin and kissed her,"Why dont you lie down for a while. If you get hungry later we can send for food."

Kyo rushed over to her and knelt beside her,"Rin you need to rest..please ill rest with you."he helped her up onto the bed and lay her down. He got a buckt in case she needed to throw up, and lay beside her putting his arms around her waste."This is our first night as husband and wife...do you remember when we met?"

Kyo blushed,"oh im certain you would have made it through with your friends help." he pulled he rin cloer to him,"the moment I saw you I felt an instant attraction, like a magnet...I never wanted to leave your side ever...now I was a second rate body guard granted, but im gona be the best husband!" he kissed her again softly."ITs late my dear you should sleep. Il be right next to you."

As the two swordsmen stood there in silent pondering upon who was going to make the first move, Rayne looked at the way how the Ico general held his sheathed wakizashi and it was quite unique. The Ico general was in a stance that leads with the left leg, meanwhile his right leg would be slightly bent and they were both apart, but the way he hold his sword was that the hilt of his katana faced in the other direction and the sheath was in front of him. Rayne thought to himself and striked first using the Mu Chisoku Kens. It would seem that all six attacks have all struck in two slashing, fluid movements , but at the sametime the Ico general instantly used his sheath to attack first and he utilize it with great speed almost making it into a blur.

Ah....very interesting....I see now...the first starting move of his style....is the sheath...making as a distraction...the second will be a slash coming from the right leg that will lead upward.....to the shoulder.... He thought to himself as he connected four out of the six attacks , since the general was able to block the first two slashs with his sheath. Just as Rayne have predicted, the general indeed tried to slash him in the leg, but Rayne leaped up into the air and performed the Ame Genkaku Amatsu Muttsu Ken ( Illusion Rain of Heavenly Blades). The general could barely distinguish the six blades from which is real and which is not real. As the six slashes that were about to collide, the general slashed out wildly trying to throw the attack off balance, but was unsuccessful and was slashed on his back. The general fell to the ground for a moment, but he regained his stamina and stood up once more. Rayne looked at him with a manslayer's glare and said " This is very suprising, but I should say that you have a determination about what you are doing and it is suprising that you are still standing."

The general responded after some breathing and said " I will fight till the end even though it means that I will have to sacrifice my life at least I've died trying to do what I believe is right and my sacrifice will not be in vain!" The general charged forward with great speed and tried a reverse attack that he have performed earlier, but this time it was going to be at the vital point, namely Rayne's neck. As Rayne dodged the blade by a small margin that gave him a fresh wound that opened up on his neck. He shook of the attack like nothing and counter attack the general with the Mu Kanjin Hi Dageki ( Six Vital Flame Strike), but the attack only connected to three out of the six vital points ( the right shoulder, the right hip, and the left shoulder). The attack that Rayne have performed was with flawless speed and accuracy, but the general somehow have defended the attack and it was phenomenal. Rayne stood there and realized that the general's style was the Tenpi Fusenmi Ken Kamae ( Sun Blur Blade Style). The general have been using this style and it was defensive and have offensive to balance it out , but the defensive techniques were amazing and it was why this general have been able to last this long.

Rayne would have taken down generals easily, but this one was different and Rayne considered this to be quite amusing , since this fight was taken out by one of his succession technique which he have used from the previous moment. Rayne stepped forward and started to walk over to the injured general still holding his chikai tantou kens , but realized that the defensive technique that the general have used only gave the him minor wounds. As he started close in on the general and also keeping his guard up, the general excuted a succession technique, which he utilized with great speed causing the sheath and the sword to become a blur. Rayne spotted the first attack and it was coming in a thrusting motion. He dodged it , but at the very instant he dodged it, the general attacked with his wakizashi and the blade was aimed directly at the hitokiri's neck, yet again Rayne escaped with another close margin and gained another fresh wound on his right side of the neck. Hmm...I've...taken enough analysis ...but I was dodging....because those attacks....I might have been able to counter...this is indeed a unique fighting style....such a shame that this...general have wasted....his talents....here....He thought to himself as he was preparing to end this battle.

Rayne sheathed his chikai tantou kens and held onto the hilt of his sheathed katana. Both swordsmen have minor wounds and they both prepare to excute their final succession technique and they both stood there in seemingly both of them have lost a little stamina in the fight. Rayne could almost feel the blood that is going to drip from the general's body and a true manslayer can almost judge when death is about to blossom and surface from the ground. They both charged at eachother, but at that very moment Rayne excuted the true form of Tsuubun Daichi, becoming a complete blur, leaving footsteps behind the place that almost seem like it was destorying the floors and walls. The general have also vanished as a blur , since he have excuted his succession technique as well. Suddenly a ear-piercing clash of blades echoed from the room and out of the hallway. After the echoeing, Rayne and the general stood there in their finishing stance. All of a sudden the general's blade of his katana shattered into millions of pieces that shimmered with light and the general fell to the ground dead to the ground with no expression on his face.

The corpse of the general started to leak out blood, but somehow that was quite unusual to Rayne, since his technique would usually have the opponent spewing out blood, yet this general's death did not and instead leaked out blood. Rayne have figured the technique had two layers to it that is why the general's body leaked out blood instead. He realized that the sheath was also broken in half and figured that the technique must have been a defensive and offensive stance all in one. No...matter...this have been...already figured...out... Rayne thought to himself as he leaped out of a nearby window and seemingly have vanished into the shadows with the rest of the Ico clan members.
