Aura looked at them both for a moment now as if they were the crazy ones. She then looked over to shoulder to mentioned ball of light. "They can see you Jaxom?"
The ball seemingly laughed. "I can make people see me when I want to, you're not the only privileged one around here Ary. Well young lady, aren't you going to introduce me?"
She sat there for a moment before looking back to her friends and smiling strangely. "Um, Bastet, Saradin...this is Jaxom, last owner of the manor before me."
Eclipse plopped down on the floor with a snort. "And I though that we had something special there..."

"More lingering souls? Seems like I surround myself in the immortal and those already dead nowadays." The rest of his drink dissapeared and the glass hit the table in solid thump. "So, Jaxom, I'm quite interested to know your opinion on how we've handled your manor." Still unsure if this was a halucination or not, Saradin stared into his empty glass, swirling it in a circle and staring into the clinging drops inside it.

She squinted one eye then put her glass down. "Well, hello there Jaxom. You would think Aurahkah would be more polite about introducing us sooner, but I suppose she feared we would think she was crazy or something, which we already think about her anyway." She smiled and turned to Eclipse, "Not many secrets are kept here for long, I guess."
She sideglanced Saradin and held up more to drink, "I hope that is not a bad thing. Would you like some more? Or are you scared of it now, thinking about visions and such?"

"You make it sound like a bad thing, young man." Jaxom's spirit ball floated silently for a moment in contemplation. "I think the manor's being handled nicely. The again I wouldn't of left it with Ary if I thought she would of brought it down. Or her company for that matter. As far as he own manners go...she's always been forgetful of them from time to time."
Eclipse licked his paws some before turning azure eyes to Bastet. "yes, but it's nice to think you can keep them...and he wasn't a secret to begin with, just scarce."
"Oh so you can talk now, Clip, well to others other than Ary now. Good for you."
"Yes, I will bother you now to my full extent every time you pop up."
Aura rubbed at her temples a moment. "Must you two start into it?" Then a look to Saradin. "Hey these guys only linger around here to keep me company when I didn't have any. They like to 'keep in touch'."

'Yes, more please." Saradin replied to Bastet's question as he slid his glass forward to her. Then as he waited for his next shot, he spoke while still focused on his glass. "They're worried about you too. You became family and you certainly have a more rich history than anyone else whos lived here." Then he finally acknowledged the floating light as real and spoke to Jaxom directly. "I for one think shes done a good job considering. This place could have been recduced to ashes by any one of our problems, but shes held it together with only a few problems. Which reminds me... I need a new window..."

Bastet promptly refilled her and Saradin's glasses, "You know, Egyptians do not have hangovers, I hope you are as forunate. For if you are not, you will have one hell of a morning." As she spoke she noticed the sun starting to rise and amended her statement, "Or you will have a bad time when next you wake."
She turned to Aura, "Ary, tsk tsk, do not forget your spirit friends. And Jaxom, I hope you know about those scorch marks we have yet to remove, not for lack of trying. Just thought I should mention them because it is Aura's responsibility. Other than that, she has done a good job." She grinned into her glass as she sipped it slowly instead of downing it.

The light of Jaxom was now up in Aura's face. "Scorch marks?! On my beautiful marble floors? Why are they still present?! And what's wrong with his window?! Ary! What else have you done to my manor?!"
Aura's hand had snaked down to Eclipse, unclasping one of the bangles around his ankle and she drew it up into her lap. "Nothing I can't fix....and it's my manor." She flicked the bangle up, making it pop into the light. Gold threads again shot themselves from the soul stone in the bangle and latched to Jaxom, pulling him into the clear stone, coloring it now green. "Oops, look at that, how did that happen, so sorry Jaxom." She caught it as it came back down and tapped it against the tables edge. "Don't worry, I'll get you out...later..." She stood with a smile and laugh and nodded to her two friends that were stirring trouble. "Always on the bad end of this stick aren't I?" Tucking the bangle with a whining Jaxom in it into her sash he clicked her tongue for Eclipse to follow. "I'll go see to your window Saradin...good morning to you both." That said and with a short laugh she made her way upstairs to Saradin's room to check out his window.
((Got up too early, I'm calling it a night. Bye guys.))

Instead of guzzling his drink as he had before, he drank only half of it and much slower. "Not protected from them in the least. Though I never seem to actually get drunk. Losing control isn't something that I'll do willingly." Listening and watching as Aurahkah talked to and eventually trapped the soul of Jaxom while he sipped more. "Guess it wont ever change that people can't leave things unfinished when they die." Soulforge was further proof of that. "Anyhow, thank you for the drink Bastet." After downing the other half the brew, he took to cleaning out the glasses and putting away half empty bottles. "I'll be up to help with my window soon. I can't leave all the work to you Aurah."

Grinning at Aura's actions, she finished her own drink, "Thank you as well, you may be the only one I actually let know the recipe to mine. And yes, you do not want Aura to hurt herself. I am getting tired fianlly, so I will most likely go to sleep." She filled up her flask for later and headed to the door but turned back to look at Saradin. "Before I retire, what do you plan to do with your shadow double? Or should I say doubles? Since there was another one today."

"The third of us was strange. He was barely even acting to impersonate me. I don't think he's the same, but he is something new to worry about." The final glass was cleaned and put away before he washed his hands and turned to exit the kitchen as well. "I'm not sure what I'm going to do about him. But he proved tonight that he has a will of his own, and that its just as strong as both my own and my predecessor's. I'm looking for a way to save him without putting us all in further danger."

"That is noble, dangerous, but noble. That sounds about right for you though." She walked to the entrance of her hall, she had many questions to ask but sleep needed to come first, and questions later. "Well, we shall all think about a possible solution for sure. Goodnight Saradin" She turned and walked to her room. Curled up into a cat-like ball with her tail tucked around her, she fell into a peaceful sleep.
((I have the urge to play video games.... so I'm off. Good night))

He followed Bastet quietly to the entrance to her hallway listening carefully as they walked. As they parted ways Saradin gave up his final thoughts on the subject before heading upstairs. "The noble path is rarely safe. But I still need to find an end to that path without it being a deadend." Upstairs, he laughed as he found Aurahkah already replacing his broken window pane, and stepped in to take over. It was his choice to jump through it after all...

"You need to take great care. Danger follows you within your new home. Your friends won't be spared if you don't intervene..." came a whispery voice. The mysterious voice fell like smoke in a gentle breeze and Hoshi awoke breathing hard and her eyes wide with fear. She drew her knees up to her chest and dropped her face in her hands, shaking her head in dismay. "Why,..w-why did I hear this?" She mumered in a shaky, trembling voice. She could hear her heart pounding against her ribs and she breathed deep. "Keep your mind calm. Think like water, how ripples are like thoughts that disturb the steady surface." She breathed in with more confidence as she thought to herself. She nodded to herself, reassuring that she will come back to it.

Hoshi slipped out of bed and placed her dark coat over herself. "I'll just take a short walk, that'll take my mind off things." Hoshi was still shaken, but felt better to think about something else. Looking around, she heard clinks, like metal or glass. "The voice!? No, can't be...I'm fooling myself." she mumbled and followed the sound.
