Fosfur Quote: Request from miquelet Fri Jun 22, 2007 11:42 pm 1.) Name: miquelet 2.) Preferred deck-type : Arderial, or multi-region Hyrens 3.) Why do you play? Firstly, because I love the game, second, because it's actually fun and easy to teach, and third, because I love the game. 4.) Why do you wish to join? Hoping to find a good and uncomplicated roleplay, find some fellow fans of the game, and I really hope to find someone to help me out where I got stuck on the Gameboy game. (The Orothe Shadow Geyser) 5.) Any ideas or suggestions? Until I know more about the guild, not really. Just wanted to welcome are new Member Miquelet Thanks, glad to be here. I may not be online all that much, (half hour a day?) but I'll try to keep checking in and post to be active. And what's wrong with Magic? Sure, it's no MND, but it's a fun card game in it's own right. I love pretty much every CCG I can find, be it Guardians, Gundam War, Magic, YuGiOh, PokeMon, Monster Rancher, Xxxenophile, Wyvern, Overpower, MND!, .hack//Enemy, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptors, Legend of the 5 Rings, and whatever else I can get my hands on. I've got boxes and boxes full of cards from so many different games I don't even have time to play them all. And here's a bit of a victory story/boast. Spending $20, I got a VotS booster box, two starter decks, and an official Magi Nation binder. Score!

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else on Gaia who has Wyvern and Monster Rancher cards. You got any Doomtown?
And woah, that's pretty good for $20. I still need to get a binder off of Cardhous. Provided of course they still have any. It's been a while since I been there.

Never got around to buying a box of it. So you have Monster Rancher too? Just the official cards, or any of the ones that came with the figurines?

Both actually. I bought an entire booster box of the actual card game off of eBay along with a couple of starter decks. Never did get around to playing it though. xd

nothing is technically wrong with magic, i have just had waaaaaay too much exposure to it and i'm done, that's all. not only have i played the game for over a decade now, but i actually was the manager at a gamekeeper where magic was all we did every day of the week. i was also a level 1 judge for a while and attended their silly prereleases and qualifiers. sad just too much magic...
i like the game, but it can no longer be considered as part of the ccg industry, it's become its own beast.
anyways, i also have monster rancher, wyvern and doomtown cards. but i was always a bigger fan of 7th sea and legend of the five rings above those. 3nodding

Wow, cool. If you and miquelet don't have it already, you should really get gEngine. In addition to MND, it's got 7th Sea, Wyvern, Monster Rancher, and Doomtown. And we really need more guild members on there. The thing even works great on a dial-up connection.

Before I click on that, mind telling me what it is? I've had some problems with unknown sites and 'fun' programs before, if you know what I mean.

I've gotten gEngine to work on my other computer and it was fun, and I didn't have any problems with it.

Well it sounds legit, so I'll have to get my sister to check the specs and such. (It's her comp, and ultimately her decision if I can dL it or not. Hope she says yes!)
