"Oh, I just remembered," Yamamoto said, "While you were upstairs, someone came in asking about you."

"Oh?" Hata said, starting to feel nervous again, "Who was it?"

"Nice young man in a suit, strangest blonde hair," she answered, "He said that you two had been talking, but he didn't get your name. He seemed like such an honest young man..."

"Yeah!" Hata agreed so as not to make Yamamoto feel bad, "He and I talked a lot on the train up here, but we kinda lost each other in the crowd. Nice guy."

He failed to mention that the "nice guy" practically made his flesh crawl with the creepiest familiar feeling that also caused an extreme distaste for the man without even knowing him. But Hata just smiled it off, and finally left. He headed back for the station, and caught the next train back to his house.

::Outside the building, Kage took a glance up the building...as if he knew where to look...just a quick glance, and then he turned and began walking. With all this day was entailing, he gave up on school completely. Work wasn't exceedingly close...and so he would have a reasonable walk. This didn't bother him..as he was not yet expected.at work, and even if he should arrive early...they would let him in, and he could relax in the back and sort through his thoughts. Walking down the sidewalk, he pulled out his sketchpad and looked over the quick sketch he had tossed together. Paranoid others might see, he glanced around almost suspiciously every now and then, in addition to wayward glances to keep him from walking into the line of a moving vehicle, or running into a pole or something like that which would be both painful and emberrassing. In between he would add little details to his picture, which was really coming alive. Still, the eyes didn't hold true to those eyes, kind yet stern, gentle, yet powerful, commanding and yet subdued. Having dazed off a bit on the eyes...he looked down at his skecth which he had been "doodling" away on...and it had started taking a more definitive form, though not what he had in mind in the first place. A sword, and the clothing, flowing beneath a suit of armor. Long hair and a number of distinguishing items he didn't even remember drawing. At a crosswalk he stopped, waiting until traffic had stopped so he could cross, and there ha had a good look at the drawing taking form. This was the source of those eyes....but made no sense. Had he seen it in a movie? In a painting or Photo? His thoughts were interrupted by another person wanting to cross the street who happened to basically run into Kage. Quickly he stuffed his sketch pad into hi suit coat and walked across the street after the rest of the crossers. The day progressing, more people were out and about, mor cas and public transportation...more people walking the streets, so Kage decided not to continue until he had arrived at the restaurant.::

::Lee's was a ritzy downtown restaurant. Sometimes celebritys ate there...sometimes young couple of a first date meant to make memories of a lifetime, sometimes rich people on a whim, other times middle class people on special occasions. The premisis decorated elaborately, many plants, decorative statues, and a large fountain out front. Kage stopped at the fountain for a while, the watrs flow calming and relaxing, even despite his lingering headache::

Jun'ko sat in school thinking over the events of last night. Had it been a dream? No. It had been too real to be only a dream. She stared out the window and pictured all of the people she had seen. Something about them had seen familiar, as if they had passed each other on the streets before and never looked at each other. She turned her attention back to the teacher and leaned back in her chair.

Keiko pursed her lips as she slipped on her coat and left the building that she called home. She was now well rested and despite the throbbing in her side she was ready for 'work' if you could call it that. Needless to say, she was looking forward to sitting in an office for a few hours and doing very little except answering the telephone on occasions and typing up a few letters.

She wasn't a secretary, but she did work for a 'friend' that she had met a long time ago in school. A woman by the name of Aranis who was now the owner of the company. Not surprisingly, she had offered the job to her 'friend', Keiko who had accepted but was unaware of exactly why she had.

There was something strange about the woman that she couldn't quite figure out but she always found everything strange about everyone, perhaps it was simply her as on the outside, the woman was perfectly normal...she was an absolute battleaxe when it came to negotiation but she was still normal.

Still, her instincts were rarely wrong...

She shook her head dismissively at her thoughts and began to saunter down the street, hands stuffed in her pockets and gaze turned down to the ground as she went.

So what was her excuse for being late this time? 'I'm sorry I'm late but last night someone shot me with a dart while I was on the run as a rabid werewolf'? Somehow she doubted that would work...

Sanjiro walked across the college campus holding Mikki close. His thoughts were wandering and he'd been having a growing feeling of unrest for several days. Mikki looked up at Sanjiro, a worry written all over her face.
"Whats's wrong Sanjiro?" She asked, looking up at him as usual. He looked down at her and smiled sadly.
"Nothing, really. You shouldn't worry so much." He played his hand across her forehead lightly. "You'll get worry lines." Mikki narrowed her eyes and stuck out her tongue at him before laughing and hugging him like her favorite teddy bear.
"Say," He started. "Do you want an ice cream?" He asked, looking down lovingly at his diminutive girlfriend.
"I would love some." She said, taking his arm again.

I'm gonna need you here arsenie-chan!

Ken, Running Ryu's Errands
Hayashi Ken pulled his best suit from the closet. He glanced once more at the address Ryu gave him. He found his company card from the desk, picked up his keys, and drove off to implement the plan he was now calling "Operation Date." This was gonna be a blast.

Ken went over the plan in his head one more time in the car. It was simple and brilliant, typical Ryu stuff. Ken had known the model for sometime now; they were part of the same company, and worked together on and off in the past. Ken was a 'middle-man' of sorts. He negociated between company and client. And he was good. Hayashi Ken was reputed for getting the biggest companies, biggest clients, best venues, highest paying investors, and he always, always got the highest cut in the business. He was real good. Lately however, he had been taking a break from work to spend time with his new family. That was all well and good, but he was just a little bored. Ryu's call to pull a tiny little scame had been a welcome one, and since he did owe the model for that thing with guy and the place, he did not see any reason not to help out a friend.

Pulling up to the street where Ryu specified, Ken checked himself in the rearview mirror. He looked sharp, as usual. He was blessed with rather good looks and penetrating eyes that coerced millions of yen from potential investors.

Ken double-checked himself for the necessary items to pull off 'Operation Date.' Company card? Check. It was in his wallet. Official document? Check. That was folded carefully and tucked inside his jacket's inner pocket. Winning smile? He'd have that one ready at the door.

He stepped out of the car, and scanned the house for any life. Well, it was the middle of the day, so if the girl was as young as Ryu estimated, she would be in school right now. Hopefully, the girl's mother or someone would be home, and Ken would have someone to schmooze over before leaving the letter. Before leaving on this little "assignment," Ken had done a little research on the owners of the house. Sadly, he had not been able to come up with anything more than the family name Taji, and their home phone number. Ken figured it would be enough, and he could improvise anything that came up. He knocked on the door of the Taji house, putting on his award-winning smile.

Jun'ko's Mum
Jun'ko's mother opened the door and looked out to see a man with a huge smile on his face. She looked him up and down and sighed.
"I'm sorry, we're not interested in buying anything."

Ken's smile did not falter, "No, please do not misunderstand! I'm not here to sell anything." He retrieved the business card from his pocket and handed it to her, "I'm from the modeling company Clockwork, you may have heard of us; we're based out of Paris, but we run a popular magazine and clothing line in Japan. Anyway, one of our talent scouts was in this area and saw a young woman that he wanted to speak with about auditioning. He didn't have have time to get the name, but he wrote down the address and asked me come here and arrange a meeting. The young woman had short red hair and brilliant green eyes, and we are very interested in having her audition for an upcoming project."

He left it there, waiting for the woman's reaction, hoping she would fill in some information he was missing (like the girl's name). Ken himself had not even seen the girl, he had no clue if she even had the looks of potential model, but he trusted Ryu's taste (though he suspected this whole thing had nothing to do with modeling, and was just Ryu's weird way of meeting new people).

Many pedestrains had called him a phyco and a maniac as he breezed past them, knocking them on their sorry asses. He finally stopped many miles away from his dorm and stepped off the motorcycle right outside of some out of the way restaurant for a bite to eat.

"I love your house," he said, earnestly, though he inwardly liked his own place much better. His salary afforded him a rather rich lifestyle and superbly nice furniture, which his 3 month old son spat up on regularly.

"So," Ken tried again to coerce some information out of the woman, "How much have you heard about our company?"

He doubted that the woman had ever heard of Clockwork, their target audience was fashion crazed teenagers and disgustingly rich folk of high society. But he would give her benefit of the doubt. He really did not care if she had heard of them, he was just becoming insanely curious to know what Ryu was up to, and what this girl of his was like. Yes, in his mind, they had to be some kind of item. Why else would Ryu go to such lengths to make sure their get-together looked totally legit, without actually doing it himself? There had to be some sort of romantic aspect to it (though if there was, he was going to have to tell his friend to back off immediately, Ryu was probably too old for her).

They stopped at a small off-campace ice cream parlor and sat down on a bench right outside.
"Play some music Sanjiro." She asked quietly, seeing that he had finished his cone long before she was halfway through. He smiled and reaced into his school bag. The entire area exploded with lovely music coming from a single flute that made everyone's heart swoon. Mikki leaned on his shoulder as he continued to play for her. She knew this song well. She had first met him when he was playing this song. As he happily continued playing Mikki held onto his strong waist and finished her ice cream cone.

"To tell you the truth I'm not sure I've ever even heard of it." She said truthfully. "I never thought that Jun'ko was into that kind of thing. She walks to a beat of her own drum." Jun'ko's mother laughed. "Now what exactly do you want with my daughter?" She asked, looking directly into the mans eyes.
