Teil shook his head. " i will have to think about this for a while before i agree to it ... i want to talk with my friends first ... " he told the researchers. there wasnt really any side effects other then what they have already told him. he left the lab and went to the council chambers and sat in his chair rubbing his temples.

Opening the shower door, Seraphina reached for a towel which she wrapped around herself, as she padded back toward her bedroom. Drying herself, she dressed quickly back into her usual attire, reaching for her staff as she made her way out the door. She had come to several conclusions while she had washed, although she would see to them later. Quietly she made her way toward the council chambers, opening the door enough to slip through. "Something wrong?" she asked, as her gaze fell upon Teil. Silently to moved to sit opposite Teil, her blue-gray eyes edged with concern.

" well i just got back from the lab " he spoke not looking up at all . " they told me that they may have a cure for my dissorder ... but there is a slight problem with it ... " he sighs and looks up to meet her gaze" it can either cure me in no time ... or it will cause the disorder to take full effect and i will be dead in a few hours ... it hasnt been tested yet so they dont know if it will work or not ...

Seraphina's eyes widened as she listened to Teil speak. "Is there no other way then can test it?" she asked, her gaze never leaving his form, "other then directly on you?". She clearly was thrilled with the idea that should the formulation be wrong, it could kill Teil in a matter of hours. Although she would never openly admit it, she cared to much for her friend to see something like that happen to him.

" well as far as i know they have to test it on a live subject ... so the only way to know is if they tested it on me ... " he is obviously troubled by this thought of not knowing if it is a sure thing or not . he sighs and starts to rub his temples again trying to figure out what he should do.

"Is it really worth the risk?" she asked, hoping to get him to think about what could happen with and without the formula. "You already have a treatment that seems to be working fine for the moment" she continued, "do you really want to risk you life for a chance to cure this disease?"

he looks up to her " honestly ... i dont think i really know what i want ... i mean there is the chance that i will live to see what i am trying to acheive ... but ... there is also the chance that i would just die and i would never see it ... "

"I can't imagine it shall be an easy decision" she replied, lowering her gaze from him, "but I advise you to think long and hard about it before making any decision". She didn't know what else to dsay, seeing as she had made it clear how she felt about the whole thing. The decision was up to Teil now.

shaking his head " i will wait a while before i will consider it ... i think i would like it to be a last resort ... " he would like to be able to be sure that it would work. but he wanted them to try and do some more tests on it before they test it on him.

"Could they not simple test it on a blood sample?" she asked, although considering what little science she knew she didn't know if it were at all possible. She still didn't understand why Teil was so adament about finding a cure, when it appeared as though the current treatment was working for the moment.

" thats the problem ... they did test it on blood first " he sighed and thought for amoment. " from what i gathered there is ai fifty fifty chance that it would work... mainly because those were the results from the testing ... " shaking his head he rests it on the table. " i guess i'll just wait for a while longer to see if they come up with another breakthrough ... "

"Are there any other tests they can perform?" she asked, her eyes focusing upon the staff she held in her hands once more. If the formula had already been throughly tested, Seraphina doubted that the odds would improve that much, if they improved at all.

" as far as i know they can still do more tests ... so i'm going to let them do that for now. i think i will only resort do taking the so called cure if it already starts to go full blown and i'm going to die anyways ... at leats till they find something else" he was worried about when the medcation that he takes will start to not work as his body gets used to it he will have to take larger doses and to his exersises more often.

"Did they tell you how long it would be before they found any more conclusive evidence?" she asked, hoping that during the time it would take, that Teil wouldn't become worse.

he sits back up in the chair and shakes his head.he has never been this stressed out before as long as he could remember, and he knew that it was quite apparent. " they didnt tell me anything other then the fact that they made that breakthrough ... "
