Tawney stayed by Wolfkits side the entire time, confused as to what she should be thinking, she deffinatly knew how she felt.

"I attacked the cat...It said it was a very evil cat..." Silverhawk told her leader.
Wolfkit was limp and his breathing was shallow and ragged.
Silverhawk looked at him. "Solarstar, I feel for him what you feel for Tawny."

Solarstar looked at the kits before turning back to Silverhawk. "I understand... Sparrowfeather will take a look at him and do whatever he can to help Wolfkit... We have to trust our medicine cat to do his job," she said, placing her tail on Silverhawk's shoulder in comfort. "I want you to see the medicine cat as well. After Sparrowfeather has looked at you and Wolfkit, I want you to come to my den to talk about that cat," she ordered. Solarstar left the warrior and the kits in the medicine cat den. She padded into her own den and laid down on her bed. She wouldn't be able to fall asleep now, so instead she focused on what was at hand. There was a cat out there putting her clan in danger, yet she also started to realize how much she cared about her clanmates, especially Dreameyes.

Silverhawk padded up to Tawnykit, "I know how much you like Wolfkit. And I'm glad that most cats accept him. I knew who his mother was and no body would be proud of him. I hope that you never think too much of how proud his mother and father must be. They're both still alive and they hated him. Wolfkit wouldn't know. And don't tell him when he wakes up about them. It would ruin his life to know that they were the opposite of him." She looked down at Tawny with kind concern.
Wolfkit was asleep dreaming he was hunting a rabbit. Hmm...he thought. Where's Tawny, it's not like her to miss a chance for rabbit. Wait...I know where i am. I need to wake up. Why can't I wake up

"He'll be unconsous, and until he wakes up, I can't do a lot for him," Sparrowfeather said.

"...I can't be blind. If I am I wouldn't be able to hunt with Tawny when we're apprentices. I wouldn't be able to fight for what's right!" Wolfkits mew got louder and more desperate.
Silverhawk padded up to Solarstar. "I hope Wolfkit does well..." she voiced her concerns to the leader.

Dreameyes slowly woke up before he gently licked the top of wolfkit's head. "Just because your blind doesn't mean you can't be a warrior. You will have to reliy more on your smell and hearing then your sight if it comes to that but there are still several more moons till you can become a apprentice so give it time." he told the young kit.

Solarstar nodded. "I'm sure Wolfkit will pull through. If he becomes blind, he may still have a chance at being a warrior, but he would need much attention and careful training," the leader said. She knew about Wolfkit's condition from hearing it herself. Though she was in her den, she could just hear the commotion that the young kit was making. "I'm sure he'll pull through..." she insisted, trying to convince Silverhawk as well as herself.

"There's just a slight chance you may be blind," Sparrowfeather said. "Now most likely, you won't be able to see for a week or two, that's it." He said kindly.
