Had came back to Missy with a light cover and a wash cloth and knelt next to her. Heard the comment and without missing a beat or looking to them she said. "Well its on our to do list." She smiled a bit then covered Missy up. Trying to calm her down she then patted the damp cloth to her forehead with one hand and rested her other on missy's shoulder. Doing her best to comfort her best friend. "Easy dear, it will be okay. I'll do everything I can to protect you, you don't need to stress. Relax." Worried that the stress would make her throat worse and make her sick. She then put the rag over missy's throat hoping to let the swelling go down. "I'm going to head over here and talk to them, join us one you feel better. You rest up for now though, you will be better once you've rested."
Once Missy was calm she moved over to the guys. "We have plenty to discuss but we should probably wait on the others to arrive."

Missy simply nodded in response, and returned her gaze to the wall and computers before her as Hana covered her and tended to her neck. She tried to close her eyes and concentrate on how good the cold cloth felt against her neck, but the image of the Black Angel (she didn't know what else to call him) kept haunting her. Staring at the wall before her, she realized how thirsty she was, and it was that simple thing that snapped her out of her daze.
Pushing the blanket off her, she began to stand up, and though wobbly, she refused any help from Hana. Determined, she shook her head and made her way to the little kitchen area, leaning at once against the cupboard for a moment. I'm so...tired...so little energy. Scrounging up the last clean glass, she filled it with cold water, and closed her eyes in satisfaction as the cool liquid cooled her swollen throat. I am alive...I will get through this. This is NOT the first time I've been close to death. If I got through it then, I can do it now. I WILL NOT FAIL AGAIN!! Opening her eyes, she stared silently at the glass in her hand before refilling it again and made her way back to the couch. Laying back down, she replaced the cloth that had fallen from her neck and sipped the water as she silently watched the others.

Coma patient admitted to ICU
A.P.- In what would seem to be a step backwards, a coma victim was admitted to Allen Memorial Hospital recently with severe burns. The patient, identified as Nicholas Anderson, was discovered unconscious in his apartment when the building smoke alarms went off and the superintendent checked all apartments, as per his duty. Anderson was found wearing the headset required to play the popular online game "The World" and was found to not be breathing, with lacerations on his forehead apparently caused by his head coming into contact with his monitor when he lost consciousness. The resulting fire was caused by sparks emanating from the broken monitor. Anderson will be kept in the ICU until further notice, and is being kept alive through the use of life support. His parents, the individuals to identify him, have stated that they will not be taking him off of life support for several months at least, in the hope that he will reawaken. They have gone on to state.........

While waiting on the others to show up Hana started to search the world news and found something she didn't like. (see az's post) "no . . . .nick . . ." She was almost put to tears, the one other person she wanted to protect besides Missy was Nick. She had promised to help him and now he was in a coma. She had to go see him, she need to but the others would be here shortly and also Missy needed attending to. So much was going on and she really was hanging on to as much hope as she could. She didn't want to believe that it was to the point of no return yet.
While she was thinking she heard Zach's computers go off again. "What is it this time?" She wondered over there since Zach and others seemed busy and notice alot of forced movement from Lamba to . .Delta. That couldn't be right delta is gone. This had to be their doing. They couldn't afford to wait any longer. She looked to Missy and said. "I'm going back in, let them know when they notice. You don't come after me ok. You need to rest, you're safer resting out here. I'll be okay. I'll be careful, I'll be sure to come back." With that she took her equipment and sighed herself on to Lamba server, hoping to get to the bottom of this.

After a short while fromthe point at which both Hana and Missy had gone online, Tom and Sam had showed up at Zack's loft. As soon as they arrived Zack said, "We go in now, and we go in strong." He and the other four players made their way to their respective log in stations and put on the gear. "By the way," Zack said before they logged in, "I put a little something in all your codes after looking at that ECHO thing in some of the other characters have had that protects them from that gamma. But it's not totally full proof yet, so don't push it too far."
with that they all logged in.

Maru was really starting to worry. Hana had been gone a long while, and Maru felt that nagging 'need to help' feeling. Well, she used to say she played in "The World" I guess i'll start looking for her in there. She sat down, leaving a note for her roommate that she was going to log in for a while, and please don't disturb her.
I am coming... just to make sure you are okay... even if you don't recognize me wink
She slipped her headset on and logged in.

Zach's Loft
Taking off her helmet and her equipment slowly, Missy tried to breathe slowly to quiet her anger, but she was still very upset with Zach. Walking over to him, she looked him in the eye. Miraculously, she managed to keep her voice even, but she wanted to let him know how serious she was when she said she didn't want him fooling around with something he knew so little about.
First of all, let me say to you that I do give credit where it's due, but in this case I find that very difficult, not to mention extremely stupid what you did. Ok, so you know a little about the Halo, but when you decided to try your little trick, did the idea even occure to you that the DAMN THING MIGHT BE ATTACHED TO ME??? For all you know, you probably only tweaked it so that the Halo actually turned back on, you have no idea if your "trick" triggered what happened, and in all honesty, I highly doubt it. You could have just as easily killed me!! I have spent over 3 years with this thing, so I know it better than you, and now that it is actually a part of me, I'd appreciate it if you didn't play with it's coding ever again. I do give you credit for all the help you have all provided for us, but because your stupidity, I will not give you credit for the attack. If I have questions, believe me, I'll ask Aura.
Stepping back, she took her seat back on the couch, and crossed her legs. She was taking charge of the meeting, if only cause she was loathe to leave Balmung, and the rest of 'The World' for long.
Now, let's brainstorm. We need to figure out how to sever the hold the Twilight Dragon has on both Balmung and Massacre, without killing them, and also create a cure for the GAMMA virus that, I believe, is the main cause Massacre's insanity. Not to mention, a way to strike a blow at the Twilight Dragon...she's our biggest enemy at the moment. Anything else I'm missing?

Sara pulled off her headset, looking around. Her roommate was asleep across the room, her papers and books strewn over the floor by her bed. She looked around for her keys and cell phone. Remembering Hana saying she had thing to do first, she also grabbed her new novel, Currant Events by Piers Anthony. As she was heading out, the door thumped as she turned the knob.
"What's goin on?" her roommate Daisy said sleepily.
"Nothin, just heading out to talk with my friend. I found her and am gonna head up to the mall with her. Maybe play a little DDR and grab some Chinese food. I'll be quiet as I come back."
"Alright... you do that." Daisy rolled back over and was soon sleeping peacefully again. Sara slipped out, shutting the door quietly.
Off to Aladdin's Palace. ... My God, I wonder what is really going on. It isn't like Hana to shirk her duties. Sara sighed, driving off to the Mall to wait for her friend.

Hana's headset came off as she heard the last part as she was fully logged off. "the thing is, we have no clue on how to get close enough to the Twilight dragon to do any damage. Gamma is a strong force. If we had the cure, or even a barrier or immunity to Gamma it would be easier to find out how to stop their Mistress and return them to their normal states." Standing up now making her way over to Missy.

Zack was taken aback by the yelling but he also wanted to tell Missy something that he hoped would make her a little less mad. "Your right Missy, I don't know enough about the Halo to manipulate it, which is why I didn't, the Halo manipulated the new data in the type change Jade gave you. The halo was the same, it just had an outlet through the code i made. Your Halo was a electrical cable stuck in a back connector, it had the power, but no way to connect to use it, I didn't touch the halo's code, I repaired the code that let you use it."
As Zack finished and Missy stated what she though had to be done, Brandon (Beowulf) spoke up saying, "What if we founf a way to get them into a part of the world cut off from the dragon. Like what about your private server Zack?" "Can't," said Zack, "Crashed it to take out a guardian, the new one woun't be up for at least another 15 to 20 days. ANd I'm not sure if that would work anyway..."
Zack was cut off when his e-mail client popped up and he went over to read it, saying, "I swore I turned that off." After reading it he said, "Damnit, how did she get?....I'm sorry guys, I have to go." AS he left you could see on his e-mail for a about 10 seconds before it auto closed:
Dear Zack,
You and I have matters that need discussing, and I'd so hate to see you losing your liecense if you refused me again. Meet me for coffee, you know where. And don't make me wait, you know I hate waiting.
Your's Truely Lisseth
about the same time the door slammed shut behind Zack the message dissapeared.

Hana looked for a minute at the door then at Brandon. "Who is this 'she'...? If I'm not being to nosy to ask about it. I'll understand if it is private." Wondering what was going on and who could pry away zach at a time like this. It had to be something big. "The pocket sever is a good idea... It could also be good if we could attack their strong hold too. They have to have one, where else would they be sending the innocent players without CCcorp noticing where the players poofed too. There are so many facters in this. Plus if you harm the dragon, will we harm the players stuck in the alternate sever formed by her. We also need to consider that. Are we willing to sacrifice innocents to end this."

"I'm not sure," said Brandon as he read the letter quickly before it shut off. "Any of you guys remember a woman named Lisseth? It does sound familar, but i can't put my finger on it." "I don't know, I remember she had something to do with the world, that's all," said Tom.
-----------------------
Downtown resteraunt
Zack handed his keys over to the valle and noticed the happy look on the valle's face so he said, "Scratches cost money to buff and gas takes money to replace, try not to rack up a large bill okay?"
Once he got inside he walkedup to the matrade (sp?) and said, "Table for two, seated by the window facing the pond. There should be one already seated, a woman, she should have said something about waiting for a.."
"A Zackari Ryder?" the matrade said as he looked at a list and said, "Yes, I see it, you may go in." Zack thank the matrade and rushed off as fast as he could through the store without looking strange.
He got to a table with a rather content and confident looking slendet woman seated at it. "Zack, I see you got the e-mail, you didn't waste anytime getting down here," she said whipping her hand out in front of her to look at her watch. "I hope you didn't burn out your baby to get here, we don't tend to cover those things at CC."
"What are you talking about?" Zack said with a his as he seated himself and a waiter came up on them, about to asked what they wanted when he was greeted by a piece of paper from the woman as she said, "have it made excatly like that, or your boss will hear about it." The waiter nodded nervously as Zack rubbed his head and said, "I'll have the.." only to be cut off by the woman as she said, "He'll have the shrimp platter, extra garlic and cajen flavors, and marinara sauce, now go." The woman said with a shooing motion.
Once the waiter was gone Zack repeated his question with slitted eyes. "What are youtalking about? And how did you get my e-mail to go through from CC? I cut them off and whiped my e-mail from everyone but the top person, wait...you're not the new MSAD CEO are you?" The woman only nodded and smiled nowingly as Zack pieced it together. "That means when you made that comment about my car you were saying you were offering..."
"That's right, your job back Zack, only many times better. You're actually kinda slow today Zack, you've figured tougher stuff out faster than that before." "There's nothing thougher to calculate than the workings of a crazy, vendictive b***h's mind." Zack said with little change in his sceptical look. "Now, now, Zack," the woman said as he reach across the table ro run a funger up his chin and flicked it when she reached the tip of his chin, "that's no way to talk to a girl, especially not your girl.." "We are not," Zack said. Interuppting her in mid word, "And we haven't ben for a few years now Lisseth."
"You never know," Lisseth said as he leaned back in her chair. "Maybe if we start working together again we could change that, the broom closet's still in the same place you know." At Zack's continual scowl Lisseth sighed and said, "Well I see I can't hook you that way Zack, you always were a challenge, not like all thoughs others, so hard to scratch the surface huh? But anyway, yes, I'm offering you a job, a very nice job at that, makes more money in a month than you did in year before you worked at CC. But.." And at this but Zack's eye twitched invollentarily as he rubbed his temple. "...You pick up now and move into the CC suite that is connected to the HQ. You live there, you sleep there, you eat there, you work there and by god you take your craps there. You don't leave until I say you do. No outside contact either. You would no longer be a part of the stars, they will have to find a new leader."
"Lisseth, if you think I'd leave the stars, my best friends, and the rest of my life as I know it for a new job at CC, then you're not just a narsasistic, you need to be commited." Zack quipped quickly as the waiter served their food and replaced their water before walking away.
"Such a sharp tonge," Lisseth said with a smirk, "I'd forgotten just how fisty you are about those stars of yours. But maybe you'll reconsider when I tell you you'd be taking over a new group, I believe you remember the 'Quantum Knights' we always used to talk about and had all those special privilages for them?"
"The answer is still no," Zack said firmly, "I would burn my house down first. And you cannot have the QK, we have made them together, but I;ve planned them for years now, you can't just barge in and take them."
"Yes I can," Lisseth said with a now manical smile, "And I will, consider yourself relieved of the QK from hence forth, and consider this your first warning about how far I will go to get you Zack." She said as she rubbed her legg against his. "You-can-not-do-this," Zack said, anger clearly in his face now. "I won't let you." "Well you know," Lisseth said with a suddenly cold yet oddly satisfied looking face, "My court order says differently dear, and just for your little threat there, consider all your old friends and anyone else at CC with any pull that would side with you fired as of the moment I notice any funny business, and I will see it Zack. See where your rightousness gets you Zack, you need to be ruthless, beat me at my own game, I want you to Zack, I can't have some sobbing goodie to-shoes for a business partner can I?"
At that she got up and simply walked away as two bodyguards came up behind her. Zack got up to go after her, but the two men stopped him, forcing him to yell after her.
Lisseth!

Mirage simply stared thoughtfully at the now blank computer screen. She thought they had to be right, someone who had alot of leverage on Zach to be able to pull him away from something this big. Without glancing at Tom, she suggested to him You said she has something do do with The World...perhaps an employee of CCorp? One of those Teal Knights? I think they were part of the coporation, though I could be way off the mark. Honestly, I wouldn't have clue who this "Lisseth" is...never heard of her before.

"Wait!" Sammantha said in a sudden outburst. "I know, she was one of the programmers and designers that Zack worked with. They were kinda together for awhile, before she became an absolute evil b***h, excuse my french. They got into it and broke up shortly before CC had to cut a bunch of people, Zack was first off, which was wierd, cause they had worse employees they were playing the same amount. All I know is they haven't been in contact for quite a few years."

"I see, she must have something big up her selve to call him out like that then. I don't like the feeling I'm getting from this. Since we are waiting on Zach before moving on anyways I'm going to go find my friend Maru. She was the freaky jester thing you met in the last fight. I'm going to catch her up on things, she only came on of worry for me. If he comes back and you all decide to jump in call me. I still have the phone Zach gave me. Meantime find out A- what Lisseth is now to CC and what she could want him for and B- a way to get to Balmung and Bloodstone without killing them or risking innocents. Sorry if I sound bossy. I just am ready to get this done so we can have our friends back and safe." She slipped her hoodie back on and grabbed her shades. Giving them a reassuring look before leaving the apartment.
She nabbed a cab and went to the mall area. Paid the driver and hurried in, making sure that no one was arounf to recongize her now even thought nick was in a coma. She then walked in and went past the food court, skipping the usual sampling of the chinese place and entered the arcade. She looked around not spotting Maru yet. Man it had been a while since she had been in here.
