Karma looked up and saw Rain wazing at her. "hello Rain." She said with a soft smile although it was obviously a fake one. She figuered it was better than nothing. She could feel her head pounding and throught it all she couldn't get the screams out of her head. It seemed so real, like it was happening now. "Does anyone else hear that?" She asked wondering if it was her sensitive ears. It never crossed her mind that it was all in her head.

Rain got up walked to Karma and sat right next to her. "Is something wrong Karma." Rain told her in a nice but worried expression.

Karma sighed. She looked at the ground part of her wanted to just leave but she knew everyone was worried. "no.... not really..." She said quietly. "Last night I....well you could say I had a nightmare.... but it was far worse.... It was something I had liver through.... from when I was younger and my parents abused me.... this was when they had gone too far.... I could hear cracks and snaps.... but not from a belt... it was when I was younger... they had broken several bones... and locked me in a room without light for a wekk sometimes more... nothing went in and I never saw the light... it was horrible...and I had to live throught it all again..." She said, tears coming to her eyes.

Gabrielle nodded back at the vampire. She somehow appreciated that he kept his distance. She wished to learn more from him and therefore from herself and yet, she still had this hate, deep inside her heart for people of his kind.
"So shall it be." she answered to Raigon with a smile. She was hoping that by traveling she would find information about a potential cure.
She finished quietly her food. When tears came to Karma's eyes, the Holy Knight did not say anything. She was not good at consolating people. She stood up, deciding that Karma would probably prefer talking with Rain than with her. Her only acknowledgment of the girl's sorrow was once again her head touching slightly Karma's shoulder and the pain which one could read in her eyes. Without a word, she left the Tavern, waiting for the others outside, leaning against a tree. She wished she could give a hug to this cheerful girl but that could end up being dangerous.

Rain saw Gabrielle leave, but Rain stayed and told her. "Its ok Karma, me, Raigon and Gabreille are here to protct you and keep you safe from them." Rain brings his arms around her hugging her to keep her calmed down ands not afraid.

"well i should got to my room i bought it last night" he looked around the roof until he found a cut in the ceiling he deftly jumped inverted and kicked into the ceiling he than flipped and lept into his room through the hole

KArma shook her head. "I'm not afraid of what happens to me... I'm afraid of what will happen to them.... What if they get hurt.... They named me karma because that's what I am.... I seem to bring bad Karma to others... what if they get hurt and I'm not there to halp them.... what if they die and I don't know..." She said worried.

Alistair took a seat with a middle aged woman and began talking with her, after a couple minutes, he asked her if she would like to be a volunteer for his source to quench his abominable appetite. He patted her hand once again and apologized for impressing the option on her at the note of her rejection and sat back at the far table, not wanting to get near Karma or Rain, the younger the blood the sweeter it is, so he'd rather not be tempted.

"Now come on Karma lets go outside Grabrelle and Raigon are waitthing for us to go for an adventure!!" Rain said as he started walking out of the door holding his sword on his shoulder.

Waiting outside, through the window Gabrielle could see Alistair. Would he made any movement towards the neck of the woman he would die by her hand. And yet she could not help but despise herself as she was pitying him. She knew his thirst. And she could see in his eyes that he was making an effort to control himself. He was a creature of the darkness, a monster...why should she pity him? Why should she understand him? She was slightly surprised when he backed up to another table, putting distance between himself and any creature within the room.
She looked at the floor, then at the window. If he wanted peace she could offer it to him. She tapped her swords. Then recalled what Raigon had given her the previous night. She had three of them. She could spare one for him. But why did she want to help him? Because he was like her...? Although far older than her, he was trying to resist...
Gabrielle stepped back in, passed Karma and Rain without a word and head toward Alistair table. She stood on the other side, facing him. "Stop watching them like that!" she hissed. She had seen his eyes. They both knew what she meant. "Here that'll help...for a while." she handed him one of Raigon's medicine. She waited in front of him, her body masking the younger ones, until he would swallow it.

Alistair looked at the vial of medicine dubiously Is it trust able? it smells of wolf. He thought, he acted as this due to old habits ingrained in to him. 'Never drink a potive unless you know it's brewer.' he was always told. But feeling trust in Gabrielle, he downed it against his better judgement. I apologize, but you really should know something about blood, it's similar to wine but it is reversed, the older it is the worse it becomes. I am sorry for acting how I did but you should know this if you don't ever escape your affliction if you are ever near death, Newborns are the ultimate rejuvenators. He said lifting a light chain from beneath his cloak, at the end was a small crystalline vial, full of the blood of an infant. He had acquired it by stealing a bloodletting bucket from a children's infirmary.

Rain looked back at Gabrielle then grabbed Karma's wrist and pulled her outside with him so they would stay as far away from Alistar. "Come on Karma lets go outside."
