Hello every one, I am EatJuice the one and only.
This is the first guild I have ever joined, so bare with me. I'm a big Ghibli fan, I own seven of their films and am working for 100%. I have seen most of them, excluding a few. I like any anime I can get my hands on (mind you my collection is small sweatdrop ) but Ghibli holds a special place in my heart.

Yeah I love the movies, they rock. My favorites are probably Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirited Away. Some people call me Crackers, Skittles, Freakin Emo ( stare ), Japanese Girl, Bigfoot, O'Neal, KK, Kitty Kat (please dont ever call me that), and KT Evil. I have a lotta nicknames as you can see, but I only like some of them because the others are too preppy. xp

New comers, welcome! biggrin Amazing. There were 10 newcomers in January and 5 newsomers so far now in February!!! You'll find the answers to most of your Studio Ghibli questions in the forums and subforums. We look forward to your comments and additions. 3nodding

i heart studio ghibli films!!! 4laugh i have almost all of them and also have their songs!!
hehe... lol, i cant choose which are my faves but probably the number one would be Lupata: the castle in the sky..

I have yet to be disappointed by a Studio Ghibli film, and I have seen quite a few:
Kiki's Delivery Service
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Porco Rosso
Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
Whisper of the Heart
All of the above are phenomenal movies.
Kudos to the founder of this guild in making an effort to uniting Studio Ghibli fans. xd

Hi Folks, nice to have found some ppl with a taste in good animes smile
I'm a math and informatics teacher with indian and austrian origins, born in germany and living in belgium biggrin have been watching animes and collecting manga since the late 80's. The stuff made by Miyazaki is my absolute favorite.

Ghibli Movies I've seen: all except "Grave of the Firefly"
the DVD is already waiting in my DVD-cabinet a long time, but I'm waiting to be in a very good mood to be able to see it smile

hello everyone
im chocosamurai, but you can call me choco. im 18 and live in New Zealand. i go to university, majoring in mass communications[and possibly japanese but its only my first year so..?]
anyway im a big fan of anime, and i think spirited away was my first anime film. though my favourite has to be mimi wo sumeseba[hopefully i spelled that correctly] or also known as whisper of the heart. *just thinking about the movie reminds me of the country roads japanese version*

Hey guys I'm G~RaDy, and I've been a ghibliholic for about 3 years now. If Ghibli was crack, I'd have Lindsay Lohan beat. xd
I'm 16 (almost 17) from Texas. OMG it gets hot here, and because I'm in Houston it's nasty and muggy! Anyways, I would have to say my favorite all time Ghibli films are
1. Howls Moving Castle
2. Hime Mononoke
3. Spirtited Away
and that's not to say I don't absolutly love some of their others, I think the one I was most intrigued by was Pom Poco, just because of the whole mythological aspect of foxes and racoons.

Welcome all newcomers! biggrin Please treat this guild as a fantastic library of all that is Studio Ghibli.
I apologize that you will not see old members here often. Over the years, we have collected and discussed almost all of Studio Ghibli films.
It's my hope that you will find loads of information to help you in your enthusiasm for things Ghibli. How much continued discussion goes on in this guild will be up to you. I think that the older members have left you a wonderful jewel to explore by yourself or with other new members. Contact eachother. Comment on the threads you see lately commented on.
