NightRayn Earth elemental master ok but what does she want to do to me i'm kinda scared eek Probably nothing...don't worry too much. I think she's still kinduv moping about not being able to chant and make her eyes glow without the terrible retribution of the -feedback loop and stomach convulsions- spell thing I cast.

I have managed to not read that whole guide thing only because noone has said, "hey, I'm done with this stuff. I'm going to look in another direction while I leave it sitting right here."

Hrm, actually that reminds me... I need to grab my copy of the ultimate hitchhiker's guide and read it again before the movie comes out.

I really need to get around to reading those books, seeing that my theatre is up to get the movie and we'll probably be holding it for about a month.

Well, I know that, stricktly speaking, he died before he could finish the last book. At least that's what I understand from Desi...
But... there was never any resolution. Well, there was, but... it was pretty damn depressing. I won't say for the people who haven't read the series yet... but... I am sad.
Mainly because despite the fact that the series is lighthearted and really really funny and cleverer than anything I have ever read... somehow, I think the only two major characters who end up dying in the whole five books were two of my three favorites.
crying I swear I almost cried at the end Of So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish.
That's the mark of a truly brilliant author, though. Even in something as goofy and fun as the Guide, Adams makes you, without even realizing it, care so deeply for these characters. When you-know-who died at the end of that book... I felt like my heart was rusting away.
