All three of the demons rushed the young boy, either not noticing Aura and Bastet or not really caring. Their only target was Dagan, as they could show by their vigorous attacks. They each swung their swords at the boy, the first towards Dagan's waist, the second at his left arm which held his shield, and the third thrusted for his head.

Dagan was outnumbered, but that didn't come to his mind. The undying rage of his father's death is all that he could think of. In a fit of fury and defense, he spun around with his dented shield out, smashing it through their weapons. The force of the spin disarmed the thrusting one, leaving it in shock for a moment. Dagan's eye twitched as he lunged into the disarmed demon's gut with his sword. A howl in pain and clutching at the boy's weapon was the last actions that the beast made before its body was dead.

"Stubborn fella!" One of the remaining demons stepped back, preparing for its next attack as Dagan dueled the other.

The soulforge sparked to life and flooded the room with its light. The flames roaring to full height and runneling off the sword and to floor, ready to strike the demons even though its true bearer was locked in another conflict.

Outside, the Saradin duplicate shot forward a step or two, nowhere near into the path of the falling sword. But the push to him came at a cost to the assailant as he whipped around and slammed his heel into his cheek throwing him off balance. "If you were really me, you'd know that'd never have worked."

The bullets streaked past Saradin in the air, and the moment he touched earth he was again gone, vanishing and appearing within a seconds time. Now with his sword launched towards the gun held in one hand of this imposter copy.

Aura stared at Soulforge a moment before gunshots caught her attention more firmly. "What now?" Looking to her side, she did indeed still have an unloaded gun on her, and no one else to her knowledge had one. "Eclipse, Bastet, I leave this one to you." She turned sharply, running the other direction and skidded out into the courtyard, Soulforge now grasped tightly in both hands. Three Saradin's caught her sight. "Three? I though there was only one copy of you!"

Eclispe jumped into the fray at Bastet's side, helping along the damage caused by the woman's sai.

"HEY HEY! Who said you coulda interfered!?" The demon deflects the blows and sends a kick to Bastet's gut, hoping to hit and send her away. The other demon sliced wildly, hoping to hit the agile boy. Dodging and blocking, Dagan let out a snort before smashing his shield down on the demon's head. The demon sat stunned, holding its head for a moment. "You....all of you will give me my father back or death will not even save your souls from MY WRATH!!!" In an unbelievable force, Dagan went into a wild frenzy sending six stabs into the demon's chest, then slicing hard at the demon's arms, decapitating its left and slithering a nice slab off the right which hung barely to its body. Dagan then injected teh blade into the demon's neck, the blow now killing it. He wasn't done with it all quite yet, lifting the blade up in the air, the demon slithering a trail of blood down to the point of the hilt of the sword. Dagan then thrusted the sword up with tremendous power to fling the demon off, lept up, and sliced wildly, creating random major cuts and gouges into the corpse. In a finishing act of his inherited fury, Dagan smashed the corpse with his shield, sending it spiraling into the other demon so that they crashed into the wall. The impact cracked the last living demon's skull, causing it to pass out and die soon after.

Bastet flinched a little, then stepped back as Dagan went on his fury again. She watched as the demons fell dead and wandered over to check them and make sure, then looked back to Dagan. "Hey, is there anything we can do? What exactly happened?" Then she remembered the gun shots and ran to the door to see Aura standing there with three Saradins trying to kill each other. Well, I would interfere if I knew which to kill.... At a loss at exactly what to do she stood inbwetween the fight outside and the enraged boy.

"I...I...don't know." Dagan looked at his blood-covered blade. "We were totally outnumbered. There must have been thirty of them that came with that...leader. I don't even remember what they called that...MONSTER. But...after Dad took out most of the demons he just...fell to the ground, dead. I don't understand wh...." A shine caught Dagan's eye, and he walked over to the demons' bodies. In the mix of the corpses he pulled out a small orb. Suddenly his eyes grow wide. "TH-TH-THIS is what he used!!! Maybe if we break it, Dad will come back or something! I REMEMBER this is what the leader used! They must have needed to do the same thing to me to do this prophecy crap!" Eagerly, the boy slammed the glass orb into the ground, shattering it to pieces. A strong aura can be felt around the area nearby the demons. The energy shifted towards the body slowly....more and more until it enveloped the body. With a violent twitch and gasp of breath, Ryo's eyes sprung open!

Aura watched both Saradins carefully through Soulforge's flames. "But listen to this before you attempt to take this sword from me. The bangles on Eclipse and the daggers I posses are inlaid with what are known as soul stones...very rare, twelve in the world, I own ten. These stones are a detector of one's soul...but also can capture and contain that which is soulless. So the moment you lay a hand on me...I'll know. You may be able to be a perfect physical and mental mimic but our Saradin's soul is his own...not even a copy can take that from him."

((nice little surprise for you Saradin...yeah...made your life harder....))

"P...prophecy? I don't recall any...." Ryo's eyes go wide and he looks at Bastet. "It's what Phea saved me from! Gerrad must have literally been pushed by Hell to murder me! I have no clue why they'd pick some shmoe like me..." Ryo rubs the back of his head a bit as if he were helping his thoughts come faster to him.

Dagan suddenly punches his father in the head.

"What in blazes?? What's wrong with you son?

"I'd like you to answer the same question for me, Dad! Why did you do all that and nearly get yourself killed? You're lucky they're morons to boot, or you'd be soul-swiped for all eternity in the bowels of Hell. Do you realize how torn up I was seeing you DEAD?" Tears welled up in the boy's eyes, but his rage and adreniline didnt back down just yet.

"I...well I um....I don't know. They were after us, I guess it was instinct for me to fight them to the death. I didn't realize they'd use such an advanced tactic as sealing my soul away. I'm...sorry." Ryo looks down a bit. Then he looks up. "Where are the others? We have to make sure they know that these are persistent minions!"

Dagan's anger at his father suddenly took a nosedive, seeing the true sitution and relief in the form of a returned father.
