"Good for you then, I don't think we need another like Aperiel around here, she causes enough trouble on my own." She really didn't care that she was talking about the angel like this to the face of her apprentice. Aura was busy slipping back into her uncaring mode. "Well, I will see what I can do to help and I will keep this out of site of Phea." She tucked the piece of paper into her sash, and opened the door to her room, stepping in again. "And Taig, do not let Phea near me, you understand? Don't question me, just please, do as I ask." That said she nodded to him and closed the door.

"Ahkah...don't slip again."


In the kitchen Eclipse stood, gold clinking and padded over to Phea. "Forgive Bastet, she's been through a lot lately." He splayed his own ebony feathered wings, stretching them. Returning to the fridge he pulled out a sealed container of food, intending it for Aurahkah. Before he left he stopped next to Phea again. "I shall inform my master of your arrival and that you have settled in well enough, good evening Lady Pheaura." Being diplomatic was tiring work...With a snort, he disappeared in a shadow walk gesture.

The next bullet aimed for Saradin was easily avoided. Before the second globule of blood stained the grass, he was gone in a flash. His image blurred in and out of vision several times, darting to either side between gunshots that hit their mark a moment after the target was gone. Down to five more shots, he conserved his ammunition and prepped to block the sword strike that undoubtedly came his way. Only a couple feet away before his last movement, Saradin vanished a final time and the sound of steel scraping dirt as it lifted was his only trace. The double swung round and clear of the rising strike that managed to cut a slice through the cloth of his coat.

His eyesight was set across the aim of the gun barrel, trying to get another clear chance as the target dissapeared again. The next swing came at him without a bullet being fired and clanged against the gun, caught between the trigger guard and the barrel as they both put their strength into keeping their weapons steady.

Aura tapped her fingers against the arm of her chair restlessly. Finally she stood, sais and Soulforge both clanking together at the action due to their close quarters in her belt. Feeling that she could slip about the manner virtually unnoticed at this hour she stepped from her room, the familiar winged wolf following her from the room, but also three little balls of light, each a different color as well.

Bastet's ears perked up as she heard a few different sounds and tried to listen to where they were all coming from. She heard some outside but then heard louder noises in the hallway. She rolled over and fell to the ground to crouch on the floor. Walking carefully on all fours she approached Aura and Eclipse in the darkness, "Like I have previously stated your skills worsening." Suddenly as more sounds were heard she turned back to the Great Hall and headed back to where she had come from, "Come on, I smell blood."

With the rustling of steel and gold Aura only narrowed her eyes slightly at Bastet, then followed the woman upon her request. She waved a dismissing hand at the lights around her, all three momentarily vanishing in turn.

Eclipse as well caught the smell of blood and took on a quicker pace.

Bastet ran back into the main hall as the stench of blood became even stronger. Coming closer, she observed Ryo lying unconscious on the floor. She checked his pulse and breathe to find him without either. Her eyes went wide as she looked to Aura, "He is dead." Quite unsure of what to do she panicked a little.

Both Aura and Eclipse came up along side Bastet, one kneeling as the other nudged the man with his nose. "Dead?" She repeated what Bastet had done, getting the same results as before. Aura stood as apparently more than a second Saradin problem was at hand. She drew forth both a sai and Soulforge. "Lovely evening."
