Nariko walked over pading her soft paws acorss the ground before jumping easily onto Larissa's shoulder since Mickey seemed busy at the time.

~when~the~music~fades~ "You know him?" Mickey asked, turning her head to face the old man. Her body only turned enough so that her head wouldn't have to turn 180 degrees. "Yes... it's been maybe 10 years since I've seen that man," the old man spoke, nodding his head regretfully. He moved himself so that his back was leaned against the wall, making the chains that held him to his place clink nervously.

"I wonder if he's still doing whatever he wants," the man seemed to have changed his talking companion to himself, staring at the hard cold ground, "It cannot have been so long that he watched my son take the title..."

"Woah wait hold up geezer!"Kiaya said understadn the words he spoke better then Mickey, than agian her world worked alot like this one it seemed."That lizard lover is your son!?"she asked since that how it seemed. He did say 'son take the tilte' title normaly ment a lord or lady in the Dragon Realm. Often times people would take of how Kiaya or Rath were to some day take the title of Dragon lord and Dragon Queen depending on cirumstances.

He's been around for centuries, doing what he pleases," the old man spoke, looking back at the pink-haired child, "Historians consider him the great balance for the past three hundred years... Never did age, that man. Knows a great deal but speaks only when questioned. Those questions... have to be careful about them... yes... very careful... just like those rats... they're biding their time... waiting for me to die... already took one of my toes they did... They know the way out..."
EDIT: When the other girl shouted at the old man, his mourning eyes looked over towards the girl. "Rian? That little boy... he's still alive?" the man questioned gently. A small smile wearily appeared on his face, "So he has not been killed yet. Thank goodness..."
(lmao the ex-lord of Parinene has gone senile xD)

Claw continued to pound the ground with his fists, and complain. He took no notice to the old man- staying in here until he was that old was out of the question. At least there were no other strangers in the single cell. "Lemme out of here! I don't deserve this!" Claw wailed. Well... at least he wouldn't have to be concerned about buying a hotel room, or even thinking about getting a job anymore. But what was worse? That- or this?

Kiaya gaped at him,"Isn't he the one who put you here?"she asked confused and gisgusted. Why were old people always creepy.

The old man looked at Kaiya with the same amount of confusion. "I gave my eldest son Malik the title of Lord," the old man, knowing this clearly despite having somewhat distorted memories, "Rian is my youngest son..."

This guy must be crazy, Mickey thought, not saying much. Probably doesn't even know what he's saying. Still, a small part of her told her that despite sounding completely off his rocker, the man wasn't lying.

"Such a sweet little boy. Never said much... Never interested in power..." the man spoke, murmuring to himself once more, "Hard to believe that such a boy has to hold such a burden... Where are the others... Surely they could not have all... but of course not... Hari will know... How is Hari? I don't rightly know... Do you like him?" The last sentence was rather abrupt as he looked up at the two girls with wide eyes. Once again, whom he was talking to or whom he was talking about was hard to understand.

"Hari abandoned us," Mickey told the old man. She didn't directly answer his question for a few reasons, the main two being that she wasn't sure who or what exactly he was talknig about, and she wasn't sure if she hated Hari or not.
