The man finally tore his gaze from Rin and looked to Kyo. "I am Lord Shinji Makoto...I can see that you are Prince Kyoshiro...the one the rebels are trying to over throw. I have agreed to help the Lord of the Western Lands of the Netherworld to over throw you so he may rule. I have always been loyal to you, but he offered me a reward if I did." His eyes settled up on Rin as he spoke again. "I've heard of what great beauty she holds, therefore I had to see it for my own...and now I see that I am greatly rewarded and I have come to take my prize...."

Kyo dismounted and tied up his face mask, and stodd in front of RIns on the horse drawing his sword,"You will need to bet thru me first."and quickly he flew thru the air and sliced viciously at Shinji.

Shinji seemed uneffected by it and slipped around him advancing towards Rin. His strong arms encircled around her waist and he stopped in front of Kyo. Shinji's cold hands softly stroked the skin on Rin's neck and he rested his head on top of hers. "You see Kyo, I dont like to play fair, so I think I will just take her from you now..." He kept his arms wrapped around her, restricting any movement and walked backwards slowly.

Kyo advanced slightly but saw him tighten his hold on Rin, Kyo growled angrily,"I will personally hunt you down and kill you."than he looked at Rin and said,"Rin...I love you."

Her eyes gathered with tears as she struggled against the man. "Kyo....please dont let him take me....please..." Her voice quivered as she started to cry hard, her body trembling. She lowered her face so she couldnt see him, and it pained her that someone was taking her away from him.
The man holding her captive sighed and threw her to the ground at Kyo's feet. He saw blood seep through Rin's kimono, figuring her stitches had pulled out of her side. He glanced menacingly at them both before vanishing, leaving Rin lying on the ground bleeding.

She had simply torn her stichees open and they were quickly bandages up,"Rin talk to me...say something..." said Kyo almost crying.

She was sobbing and buried her face into his shoulder, wrapping her arms around his neck. She couldnt speak for sometime, fear had taken over her and she was clinging tightly to him. She looked up at him, her tears still falling and she whispered "I love you.."

He didnt even notice that the fort had been taken by his army, he just stood their holding Rin tightly,"Its ok your safe now, and Im not gonna let you go again...." When he looked up next he saw a tent city had been erected in the clearing, and he saw thier tent close by. He carried RIn into the tent and placed her gently on the bed.

When he placed her on the bed, she kept her arms wrapped around his neck, refusing to let go. She was trembling noticably and was scared terribly.

Kyo lay on the bed next to her and tried to calm her down. He took up a goblet f wine and handed it to her,"Youll feel better after you drink this..." he smiled reasuringly, and lifted the goblet to her lips.

She looked up at him with frightened gold eyes, but took a small sip. She let out a soft sigh as she snuggled closer to him, wanting to be wrapped up in his arms to make her feel safe and takes another sip of the wine.
