After few exchange of clashing of the katana, Rayne got few minor wounds and the general also have minor injures as well. Rayne slashed at the general with great speed and the wound that was on the general's chest spew blood. They continued fighting and none of them seem to back down, but Rayne was starting to register with the general's move, learning his weakness and taking advantage of him. They continue slashing each other, each dodging and blocking their blows with a small margin in between. Either swordsmen seem to be giving in and kept fighting.
After an hour both swordsmen were still fightning, but Rayne decided to excute his second succession technique and it was the Maru Ten Kuusho Tentou Satsu. They both charged forward, but before the general could land his blow, he fell to the ground dead. Rayne reappear behind him sheathing his katana and vanished into the shadows with the group of the Ico clan members that were outside of the base.

islanders_CO39 She snuggled into his arms and smiled a little. "Then what will I do? I dont want you to get hurt Kyo..." [/I] Kyo hugged her tightly,"Just sit and watch the show!" he kissed her on the lips, and kept riding. Presently they came to road that forked in 4 directions. Kyo turned to the officers following him and said<'this is the fork where we all split off. Ill take 2 legions along the far left fork, the rest of you follow my orders as before."kyo sat on his horse with Rin watching the army split off into smaller groups. Kyo than rutned and follow his command down the road, which itself led into the forest. It was dark, and the air was filled wit the sounds of animals, and the slow but steady sound of the soldiers on the march. Kyo looked at ease in the darkness. However form the shadows came the sound of screaming demons hollaring battle crys. It was an ambush. Kyo taken off guard was unable to draw his sword in time and wa skit on both sides of his chest by arrows.

She gently pulled the arrows out from his chest, her hands glowing purple as she healed him. She was trying to be careful of her bandaged, stitched up side and she had to admit that she was frightened. She looked up at Kyo worriedly and snuggled more against him.

She was trying to be careful of her bandaged, stitched up side and she had to admit that she was frightened. She looked up at Kyo worriedly and snuggled more against him. Kyo snapped up again, off the ground. The ambush had been short. A few arrow fires. probably just a scouting party. They would report to the fort, making the attack alot harder to accomplish. Kyo saw Rin holding him tightly, and he said,"Thanks alot Rin...you saved my life..." Several soldiers came over and helped them up,"Are you alright milord?" they asked tentatively, to which Kyo Replied,"Yes...Im alright." kyo got up and put Rin on horse before he climbed on. The soldiers increased their speed and soon they were clear of the fores tand in an open field. At the end Kyo could see a palisade wall of downed trees, and the keep itself made out of wooden logs. Kyo sent a rider to the castle looking for its surrender, and unsurprisingly the Rebels denied this. Kyo looked back at his soldiers and saw them in line of battl. kyo waved them forqard and the legions began the charge against the castle. Kyo looked down at Rin and smiled,"How is your cut?" he seemd oblivious to the carnage at the fort.

"Wow!" the mage exclaimed. "You gotta teach me how to do that!" The Architect grinned. "It's all about structure. You have to find unique ways to build it. There are many, many possibilities." He held the finished product up. It was a sphere, with an one inch radius, with wings. He pressed a button on the top and the ball activated. The wings flapped and it joyfully fluttered around the room. The mage stared in fascination. The Architect reminded him, "They're more dangerous than they look. Allow me to show you."
Outside, several wooden targets were set up. The ball fluttered above the Architect's head. He pointed at the center target. "Attack it." The ball stopped and registered its target before rushing toward it in rage. It hit the target dead center and attached itself there. The mage raised his eyebrow. The Architect tackled him to the floor as the ball began to beep. Once, twice, thrice...and then...
An intense white light sprung forth. They quickly shut their eyes. The ground shook and they were knocked back by force. When the light ceased to shine, they reopened their eyes. All the targets were vaporized. "We need to make more of those. Many more," the Architect said as he stood up and dusted himself. Sati gazed at him in wonder and knelt down. "I will willingly render my services to you." The Architect helped him up and smiled. "Of course. I need all the help I can get. In fact I'll take you as my apprentice. Sound good?" Sati's eyes widened considerably. "Sir, I'd be more than honored to!" The Architect chuckled. "Very well, it's done. Now let's get to work."

Truthfully, her stitches burned terribly, but she refused to let him see her pain. She nodded her head not looking into his eyes "It's fine.." She snuggled up to him, afraid to be seperated from him, fearing that he would be hurt, or that she would never see him again. She looked up to the sky and suddenly tensed. A man was hovering before them with dark brown hair tied back loosely, crystal blue eyes, and he was dressed in a red yukata. He looked at Kyo menacingly, but his gaze softened when it fell upon Rin.

The valheru stepped forward noticing the huge structure that lied before him. He knew fighting was not going to happen this day and thought it best to conserve energy, but he vowed to be on josh's case within his subconcious. With a bright shining light, the mighty valheru turned back to josh. The elf stood there bewildered once more. but he knew where he was, he had been watching from within Ashen rahmans mind. He had a great weight on his mind. He couldnt stop thinking about ranae and her final words she had said to him.

After making his return from one of the Ico rebel bases, Rayne was very please of seeing that he have completed his assignment, but he have been through many missions and battles before, yet this made no difference in his point of view. Rayne decided that he should let the others in the Ico clan rest for now and knowing that they need their stamina back, it will be a while before they can battle again. Rayne sat up against a wall and cradling his katana. He thought to himself of his own objective and was not about power, it was to create a new world with perfection.
Many of the Ico clan members were getting a drink of water and some were just sitting on the ground resting. After a few moments of casting a healing spell that completely sealed all of his wounds away, Rayne stands up and started to look around the place seeing that many people were feeling restless.

HE looked up and saw a man in a brown yukata He opened his mouth in surprise, and siad,"Who are you, and why are you here?" he reached for his sword slowly.

((Sorry. I'll try to write the scenery then.))
There is the Architect's fortress. Outside of it is the grounds. The grounds ranges from three to five miles away from the fortress. On those grounds is a small cottage, which is halfway between the outside of the Architect's domain (his domain is the grounds and the castle). Nobody lives there. A few feet away from the front door of the cottage is the entrance to the Tunnel of Truth, concealed by fake leaves and twigs. The Ico fortress is miles and miles away. On the way to the Ico fortress, a tenth of the journey to the Ico, is the ruins of Azuchi Castle.
