Haven't seen her either. I think we all should start ADVERTISING this guild, so please, please if you can of course, please advertise this guild whenever you can because it would be a GREAT, GREAT HELP! Thanks!

How should we advertise it? Just by telling people about it?

Yeah and to get people interested. Not just say to them "Hey, join this great guild..blah, blah" tell about the guild, what we do, and whats in the guild to make people be more interested. And remember to at least post the link of the Guild or have the link in any of the guild banners (the coding for each banner is listed in the 'Big Sticky of Doom' thread) It would be a great help and also post in supernatural threads throughout Gaia or anything thats like the supernatural.

Well, just recently got home from my great-uncle's funeral. And am right now a bit depressed. The ceremony went well, it's just that you see he was a monk at this Catholic Abbey in Massachusetts. And when they do funerals it's not normal as you see in regular funerals. What happens is that, there is no casket at all, they had the preist lay down on this long thing that they wheeled out. And it was creepy since normally at funeral ceremonys, there's a casket and it's closed. But instead, since these brothers or known as monks are going by the rules and policys probably date back to looong ago or something.

So I had to take a picture infront of the preist with my parents, I don't want to be rude to anyone here or anyone else but I just don't feel comfortable being near a dead person's body even after it's been cleaned and such. It just feels creepy and they seem so different, they look a lot different especially with the make-up they put on the person at the funeral home, that it looks somewhat very creepy. So I was scared, I knwo it sounds dumb but it happened to me (this is the BIGGEST reasons why I don't like going to funerals or when it's the day that you can actually go see the person and pray).

When it was time to bury him, the ceremony was solemn (spelling?), and we followed the 65 brothers or priests as they are known and the sisters to the cementary. And the cemetary at the abbey is totally different then the ones you find. There are no marble statues or monuments you find in regular cemetarys, in this one the markers were white wooden crosses with the person's name on it, birth and the day they died. Some graves there may have had this circle thingy that was stuck in the ground that said WWII War Veteran.

So as they were about to bury him, EVERYONE (except the brothers, it's weird how priests can keep so calm when someone is about to be bury) was crying, even I was. Why? normally the casket get's buried, but because of the rules and laws, the priests put the body of my great-uncle in it instead. They carried him into the grave by using ropes I think and then they lied him down, they covered his whole body with lien cloths and then slowly lowered him down into the grave. I started to cry because I felt really sorry for my great-uncle since there was no casket at all, and he had to be buried without one (I respect the abbeys rules and laws when it comes to funerals). Even little five year olds were crying, it was too sad, and it was freezing as well.

The weather in Massachusetts right now is very icy and there is also an FREEZING icy breeze and everyone were pratically freezing their fingers off watching my great-uncle get laid into his grave (like I said, very sad). And there was hard crying as well, it felt really weird to me though. So when there was hard crying during the burial, I had to cry too I couldn't help it at all. I was scared because of the dead body but also too sad because he had to be buried on solid ground without any casket or anything.

So yeah, there's my story of today and I am still a bit scared and a bit depressed. Any ideas to get undepressed?
