Nuriko had an similiar confused expression when looking at the coin.
"You'll starve if you try to pay with that. If thats from your world, its useless here."
He was given a certain amount by Hotohori before they left, but with the amount that Miaka ate, he knew it wouldnt last long. Nuriko glanced down at her. It seemed he was the only one against going into enemy territory. It was hopeless, she never listened to him anyways.
"Yui? She's their priestess?"
A concerned look crossed his face, if the one Subaru was talking about was in fact Yui, it probably wouldnt be as easy as going in there and bringing her out.

"Well, they claim there is a new priestess in Kutou - I would assume it is her friend for I have not seen any others...then again I haven't seen her either," She confessed and then her expression clouded over. A realisation struck her and she quickly turned her gaze towards Nuriko.
"If you wish to go to Sairou then we must walk around Kutou, we cannot enter with your priestess," Her tone had become urgent and her eyes dilated as she was reminded of what lay in Kutou - what she remembered wasn't particularly nice.
"The warriors of Sieryuu are cruel and unforgiving, they are prepared to kill anyone who even dares to reason with them or even enters their land with foreign chi...if they discovered the priestess we would be in serious trouble!" She warned.

Nuriko contemplated her words, he wasnt familiar with any of the other lands as he had never been out of Konan.
"If thats the case, you'll most likely have to guide us. Im afraid Im not familiar with the route."
Although he wasnt fond on the idea of leaving the country, it did make him feel better there was an alternate route aside from going through Kutou. He turned his attention back to Miaka.
"We will save your friend Miaka, but just not now. Once you gather all the warriors, it'll make it easier."

Miaka frowned at the thought of not being able to save Yui right away. She knew in her head that Nuriko and Subaru were right...it'd be better to build up forces and then try and save her. But something Subaru said bugged her. Manipulating Yui? How could this be? Yuichan was always so strong and not gulliable like Miaka. She then got more and more worried...the thought of Yui being hurt mentally and phyically made her sick...Yui was her best friend, and she just didn't want to sit back and watch this unfold.
Miaka then felt a odd feeling in her stomach. She quietly said, "Eh..Nuriko...Subaru I think I need to go do something reallllly fast..." she said producing a sweatdrop and nervously laughing. She slowly walked away as they were talking and slowly bent down to pick up some of the stray clothes at thier camp. She rushed faster into the woods letting the two continue to figure out a plan. She ran northward as fast as she could and slowly stopped once she hid mid-woods. Then, she stripped off her clothes and put on the new outfit she picked up. She stuffed her clothes in her bag and then pulled out a brush and re-did her hair in a more traditional way as did the women in Konan and she hoped Kutou too. She then started to walk again. "Yuichan...I'm coming okay? Just stay strong..."
Miaka walked throughout the day and then reliezed how close she was to reaching out of the woods. She noticed tall gates and smiled widely. She giggled to herself and happily skipped towards the gates. "So this is Kutou..." she said to herself admiring the tall gates.

Nuriko could almost see the wheels in Miakas head turning as she listened to their conversation. She was no doubt planning something silly and rash like always. When she asked to be excused he merely nodded, thinking she had 'female problems' to deal with or something.
However, it didnt take long for him to catch on. He glanced around, she was completely out of sight.
"We should probably go after her. That little baka probably headed off to Kutou by herself."
He shook his head and took off after her, hoping that she hadnt gotten too. She was still hungry so hopefully she wouldnt have as much energy as she normally did. Stupid, why didnt I catch on earlier?

Yui Sama, Seiryuu No Miko (Niftyness) Yui remained silent and expressionless as she watched Toroki take his leave. She had a feeling that she'll be seeing him pretty soon and it won't end as peaceful as just now. Her illness had set her back from their scheduled plans and now that she was no longer ill and with earlier's incident, it proved to Yui they had to move forward. There was no use ever going back. Like Toroki had said, the country did depend on her and her decisions and she knew that she'll be able to make the right choices with Nakago at her side. It was important that she make the right choice since they did effect everyone around her. She never really had to make these kind of choices in her world but found herself thinking less of her world as her stay progressed here. Yui still planned on staying here where she was needed since she wasn't needed in her world as much as she was needed in this world. Nakago finally broke Yui out of her trance like state and the young priestess at first still seemed as if she didn't hear him call her name since she did not look his way like she usually would when he would call for her but instead, remained starring at the spot where Toroki once stood along with his friend who didn't look too very well. "We were to have breakfast and discuss our plans were we not?" Yui suddenly asked in her monotone voice.  "Before we were again interrupted...Yes. But I would not want to overburden you Yady Yui..."
::He approached her slowly, unsure what her tone and lack of "usual" response might mean::
"Your well being is the most important right now."
::Nakago motioned with one hand a two servants hustled to his call::
"Escort Lady Yui wherever she wishes to go, until she becomes familiar with the palace. Do to the intrusions, none of us have had a decent meal, so iwould expect thatshe should like to eat. The main hall is already prepared, have the small mess cleaned up before we arrive."
::They were dismissed with no more than that, not a word or gesture..they knew what was to be done. The male of them ran off to tend to the dining hall, while the female waitied patiently, silently, and humbly as Nakago continued::
"There are a few things I am obligated to attend to on the way to the dining hall, but I will not be long."
::He turned then towards the very center of the palace. The Kutou Emperor would not be please with the events of the morning. Nakago wanted to deal with as little as possible, and sent a compliment of craftsmen and servants to the halls of the Shrine of Seiryuu to clean up and repair the damages. Approaching the great doors to the emperors chamber, his expression went cold and hard, almost angry. His thoughts his own, he was quickly admitted and gavce a vauge and briief report of the mornings events. He left out Lady Yui, making the Kutou Emperor think they were still searching, and that the attack had been a retaliation from the Kutou armies that had been ever incroaching upon foreign lands. It was enough to satisfy him, and nakago left in a hurry, and even more agitated than before at the putred ruler of the kingdom. That would all be taken care of soon, however.::
::On the way back to the Main dining hall, Nakago gathered a selection of the Black clad Ninja's and began to put his next plan in motion. The orders were to gather a groups of soldiers, sizable enough in number, and dress them int he attire of bandits. The bandits were to not be accossiated with Kutou, but were to make attacks on gaurds and small battallions of troops within both Konan and Sairou. Each time they won, all the armor, weapons, trappings, attire, etc. of the foreign soldiers was to be looted. Once they had gathered enough, they would move to step two, They would divide into 2 troops, one taking the Konan attire, the other in Sairou, nd then each would go to the opposite country and make blatant attacks on the other. A war brewing between the two of them would keep BOTH off the Seiryuu's backs fora while, even if it didn't turn itno full scale war..the scuffles should cause enough issue to take the attentions away from Kutou. The spy took off at once and began gathering a troupe for the task::
::Nakago turned and headed again towards the main hall, his "duties" accompished, for now:: ::The maid servant waited patiently as Nakago spoke, and then as her companion left to take care of the cleaning and repairations, she waited still to lead this lady of importance, as Nakago ordered. When Nakago turned to leave, she bowed and motioning spoke::
"This way my lady...if you should like to go to the main dining hall..."- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Korin-Chan The temple of Byakko was silent as Toroki entered, on his journey towards the temple he had removed as much of the cursed kodoku as he could find but he couldn't guarantee that it had been completely removed.
Needless to say, he was not in a very good mood and as he dropped Tokaki onto one of the large white cushions he turned his attentions towards the frail Tatara. The gaunt eyes stared back at him and for a long time he was silent before he drew closer to the seishi.
"I have a gift for you," He murmured as he held out the earring and shook his head. Tatara scarcely moved in reply, but the glint in his eyes revealed that he had heard and eventually he extended his hand to clasp the earring in his own palm.
Toroki could only hope that all would begin to recover soon...  ::Ever meddling these seishi were. He had underestimated these Byakko Seishi and their powers...he would be sure not to do so again... A stern look spread across the pale face as darkness shrouded him. As the spy departed and Nakago began to walk down the corridor again, the all too familiar giggle of Keiko echoed across the hall. Behind him, the tiny Subaru look-a-like materialised with a devillish grin upon her lips, from what could be seen...she had been watching and it would be obvious as to who's orders she was following.
Toroki may have been somewhat older than his fellow seishi (Approximately double their age, if not more) but he was not foolish and he had already seen the peculiar look within Nakago's eyes - suspicious of this, he had ordered Keiko to remain although unseen and to watch in case he attempted to make any more moves against Sairou - it seemed he had spies too..
He had sworn that Sairou and the Byakko seven would remain peaceful and would not attack those of Kutou but if Nakago dared to attack them first, there would be no mercy...
"I see you!" She cooed, clasping her hands together as her smile grew.
[***Subaru-San***]
"Oh dear," Subaru murmured as she glanced briefly towards Nuriko, her eyes questioning as she waited for him to choose his course of action. He was Miaka's guardian afterall, not her - but the very thought of her attempting to enter Kutou made her shudder at the mere idea of her encountering Nakago.
"Yes, we should perhaps follow her," Subaru confessed at last and began to follow after Miaka, her pace brisk with a hidden urgency as she attempted to catch up with the boisterous and very headstrong seishi.

Miaka walked up to the gates and nervously laughed as she walked inward. She then walked through the city and then felt her stomach drop. It was so different from Konan. Even though the first people she met in Konan weren't the nicest...these people weren't even in the slightest better. They all stared at her. Could they possiably know she was the Suzaku no Miko? She wasn't wearing her school clothes...so how could they? She looked around at how plain miserable the people looked. "I feel so bad...they all look...so sad" she thought to herself.
Miaka then reliezed she was completely lost. "EHH?!?!" she screamed loudly getting weird looks from the suscipious enough people. She rubbed the back of her head laughing and then walked over to a random women. She poked her back and nervously asked the women:
"Excuse me...can you please point me in the direction of the Kutou Palace?"
The lady looked at her and didn't respond. She seemed to just point her finger westward and shook it. Miaka was confused but smiled and bowed anyway, "Thank you very much" and she turned her path.
As Miaka was walking all she could think of was Yui and what might of happened. It wasn't fair, why was Yui pulled into the book too? What would happen if she was the Miko? And exactly how would the two of them be affected? She frowned just thinking all the answers.
Miaka then lifted her head and there right in front of her...was the palace. She gulped and and squeezed her backpack's strap. She then clenched her eyes and proceded placing her right foot closer to the palace and started to make her way in through the gates.
(gomen ne~nakagochama...this provides more work for you and I'm really sorry...can i repay you somehow?)

Nuriko paused a moment, staring ahead at the borders of Kutou. So she really had gotten this far. By now, she had probably been caught and skewered. The warrior let out a sigh, he was sure none of the other miko's seishi had this much trouble.
He wanted to try and keep a low profile, so beating the guards to a pulp was probably out of the question.
"Why couldnt she be more considerate of what I have to go through. I cant protect her if she runs away everytime I turn my back..."
He grumbled, glancing around the area in hopes of finding a different way in.
"You seem to be a little more familiar with Kutou? Is there anyway to get past the guards?"

"Yes," Subaru replied with a slight nod as she placed her hands upon Nuriko's shoulders and silenced her mind. The air about the pair began to distort and warp until it mirrored what was behind them - in a sense, they would be surrounded by a wall, another form of invisibility that would change according to their surroundings.
She smiled at that and calmly took his hand as she began to walk forward again, directing him in such a way as they remained close together and she would soon give a reason as to why.
"The palace gates of Kutou sense foreign Chi," She explained in a low voice, "If we remain stuck together then the gates may become confused and sense a distorted Chi so that they only believe one of us is entering," She finished and fell silent as she drew ever near her and passed the guards...

Nuriko glanced around in awe. It appeared not even the guards could see them as they approached.
"Amazing, Subaru-san."
He commented, this indeed made it alot easier to travel. Now they only had to find Miaka. She would probably head for the palace, if he friend was the priestess here.
"You mentioned earlier about the Seiryuu seishi. How many are there?"

"Although I only saw two of them," Subaru began when they were a suitable distance away from the guards, "I sensed that there were far more, I would have assumed that at least another two were around the palace somewhere although they were not nearly as significant in regards to power as Nakago was," She finished and folded her arms across her chest.
She glanced around the bustling alleyways and then turned her gaze towards the palace within the heart of the city - no doubt, Miaka would end up there if they didn't find her first and she somehow did believe that her return would make matters any easier for the priestess - she had seen Toroki's signs and knew of the danger, she had to be careful...or, she would have to think of something at least.
"I'm not sure which direction she has gone, but perhaps if we make our way towards the Palace we will bang into her - either that or you should be able to sense her if she gets in trouble, no?"
