"So you specialize in, close-range combat. That's what it says in one of the books I read.." he smiled. " I don't think I'd ever be able to do that... unless you taught me how... " he nuzzled the knight, now that the truth was out, the prince was much more affectionate to his friend. But then he sighed and sat up with a frown...

"But you're right.. now isn't the time to train, huh... Now that, Joseph's gone.... I wonder what's going to happen-?!" A sudden knock came to the door and it startled Nathan so much it made him tumble off his bed.

It was Richard on the other side of that door. He called, "It's me! I need to speak with Garrat!.. Alone.." he pleaded, a sound of desperation in his voice. He awaited at the door and Nathan grew nervous. "He sounds angry.." Nathaniel whispered as he crawled under his bed, playing with his kitten.

Nathan was, at first, listening through the door but could hear nothing as Richard pulled the knight far down the hall and into Hamish's room to speak alone. The only witness there was Flegel.
" I'm sorry to pull you away like this. But this is important. You know what's gonna happen now, right? " he asked and sat down on the bed.

" Hamish is next for the thrown.. The prince and I have a healthy relationship and sex is involved but understand that I'm fully aware the he would have a family. But that doesn't mean we don't stop uhh .. Well f***ing, to put it bluntly. I adore Hamish, but something doesn't seem right... I have reason to believe that family is being targeted. I didn't expect it, but the day after Manureva dissappears, Joseph dies?! It seems too far fetched!" Richard pointed out. "I wanted your opinion on this..." He asked, licking his parched lips.

Richard nodded and leaned against the wall. " I believe, Hamish is at great risk. So.. I have to ask, just watch out for him. Ill be taking my leave soon, but I will return after about a week. I'm worried about him..." He trailed and then, he. frowned.. " he may not look it, but Hamish breaks easily when he's stressed... " he sighed... " I'd hate for something to happen to him while I'm gone... Which is why I'm entrusting you to keep Hamish... "In tact "so to speak... " his cheeks turned pink. " Hamish likes about 3 rounds a week. It keeps him calm ..." He sheepishly and awkwardly smiled, scratching the back of his neck.

Richard blushed, "uhh... N-no I mean ...... Hamish needs a certain... uhh- comfort, I should say. I'm usually the one to take it, but I'm leaving. So while I'm gone he needs that 'heat and warmth' from... well, You.. " he emphasized, heat and warmth in hopes Garrat would catch on but then he raised an eyebrow. ".. d-don't you and Prince Nathaniel... uhh ya know... do it.??" he asked.

Richard raised an eyebrow and scoffed a bit, "but.. of course you can... its just for a week..." he looked desperate. But then he sighed and rubbed his face... " This doesn't have anything to do with younger Prince, does it?" he asked curiously. He looked at the knight and suddenly decided to pull something that was rather foolish to perform in front of the knight. " Understand that I deeply care about Hamish's well being. And you obviously care about Nathan... " he even glared at Garrat, "..... I would hate to see something happen to him ..." he frowned.

Richard noticed he struck a chord but Garrat asked too many questions. "Things are going on that you don't fully understand..." he hissed. Then, by surprise, the man reached and took Garrat's collar in his fist! " I'm not even sure myself. But Nathan isn't your top priorit-" he was saying and then a black haired boy looked between the two in the disantce. Nathan had worried look on his face as he approached Richard. " Let him go.." he demanded. Richard groaned and pulled away from Garrat. With one last look, he glanced at Garrat angrily and then at Nathaniel. Essentially, this wasn't the last time they'd hear from Richard.
