 "Benkei. An energetic warrior with a horrendous past, but with a big heart." Benkei laughed sheepishly, "Aren't you at least a tad bit hungry?" He asked as he scratched his head. "Here, how about I treat you out to dinner?" He asked as he looked at his watch, wow, he couldn't believe how late it was. "A lively man who uses various guns and weapons in battle. He's quietly become the mediator with his happy-go-lucky attitude."

"I even got a nice pay thanks to my last job, so I won't be missing my money too much." he said as he smiled. "Come on, just one night?" He stopped...and laughed. He spot a place and turned to Aoi, "You like steak?" he asked as he points over towards the steakhouse that was just across from them. "A lively man who uses various guns and weapons in battle. ian92867 Ian took a look at the earrings as well...wait, couple's earrings? He didn't have his ears pierced...but if Gilly wanted... he might... "Those look pretty neat, Benkei... a little cheesy, yeah, but hey, I think the look good. " he commented and looked back to Benkei. "Thanks for that, mate." he smiled with a nod. However, he kept all hush hush on wanting to tell him that he was out on a date with Gilly and actually wanted to show her something he only wanted her to see. Meaning he held back from telling him he needed to take Gilly somewhere else where they could be alone... That one special location he found the day he actually arrived in Japan... he hoped it would make a romantic spot for Gilly and himself...
Linking arms with him again, Gilly tucked the earring box into her purse, and steered him back on track. The night sky was dark now, and the stars were out. Despite the time, the district was at its busiest time, full with students out for late night grubs, salarymen trying to catch the last bus, and enthusiastic vendors ready to sell trinkets to wandering couples.
"How about you and me go off to get some grub, huh? Then we can swing back by my dorm?" Gilly suggested.

"See ya later, Benkei!" Ian called out once Benkei left, and then he looked to Gilly and nodded. "Yes, let's. I'll even show you that special spot." he answered, and with arms linked with hers, wanderd through the shopping district. Restaurant after restaurant seemed pretty packed, and Ian started to wonder if there was even aplace with enough room for the two of them. Though, his eyes then fell upon a particular place.

"How about here, love?" Ian pointed out, a little curious.

"Italian food?" Gilly inferred, reading the name of the restaurant. "You know the way to a maiden's heart. As long as you're paying." She joked, but looked up at Ian with a serious face, before ushering him inside.
A waiter greeted them at the door. The outside was a beautiful brick building, with ivy crawling up the sides. The sign was well lighted, and as Gilly and Ian walked inside, their feet met beautiful maroon carpet, with elegant tables and a wooden bar with dark wood floors in the corner. In another corner lie a small stage where a smooth jazz group was performing. The restaurant had a few diners, but for the most part, it was empty.
A waiter smiled at the pair, and grabbed two menus, and escorted them to a table in the center. The table had a small candle in the middle, with a vase of deep red roses in the middle. It was covered with a dark green table cloth, and had a small basket of bread sticks available. The waiter set the menus down, pushed out the chairs, and left.
Taking a seat, Gilly looked around, absolutely in love with the atmosphere. "Have you been here before?"

Benkei looked at the list and back at Aoi. "You don't have to hold back, order whatever you want." For some reason however...after he said that? A chilling sensation went down his back. Ian remembered, he still had the money Masato and ayame gave him... yeah, he'd pay. Ian nodded to Gilly before they entered, and smiled again. Once inside, Ian took a glance around. Wow, this place did remind him a little of Italy. Well, he had actually been there before with Zoreken during training. Even to Sicily itself.
After being seated, Ian looked right at Gilly, kind of liking the way the way she looked while in here. Must have been the lighting... who knows?
"Actually, I haven't. This is the first time." He answered truthfully, and then took a glance at one of the menus that had been placed on the table for the both of them.

Faking a dramatic gasp, Gilly's eyes widened, as she placed both elbows on the table, leaning forward suddenly. "Well then. You better hope this place is good." She warned, but grinned, sitting back on her chair.
"As long as you're paying, and don't pour water on me or something, I think we'll be good." She continued, and glanced at her menu, turning the pages with one hand, and rubbing her arm with the other. She was a little cold, but nothing she couldn't handle. Tapping her lip with one finger, Gilly nodded to herself, before looking across the table at Ian. "I think I know what I want."
At that moment, a waiter came over, ready to take their orders.
