"I am already gone." With that, she took to the skies. She stopped and used her fire to draw the attention up to her. "Up here!" she yelled to the thing on the chain.

Eldrich lifted his sword and once again took off to attack, he will slash vertically at Soverin as soon as he gets in range of him. He worried that this would not work, but as soon as this man reacted, hopefully he will show something of his powers to help Eldrich formulate a plan for fighting him.

After walking for a short while, the ground and sides of building began to turn white around Jet and a pain in his chest became increasingly painful. Then Jet saw what was causing him all of this pain. Straight ahead of him was a snow-white alter charged with the magic of the ruins. This 'holy' sight was what was pushing at the evil side of Jet, and before Jet took too much damage he fired a ball of black flame at the alter, which erupted into a burning black flame, and instantly teleported away, using as little energy as possiable. It wasn't until the instant that he appeared near where Eldrich had been that he felt the blood flowing from his side. The explosion had sent a small cross into Jet's side, and it being a cross, Jet couldn't pull it out. He'd deal with it until he could get some help. He figured that he'd wait a moment before engaging the fight, taking a few moments to take a few breaths.

Sovern's face was distorted in a wicked smile. He had absorbed Mizar's energy completely now, and his true self was lost.
"Please," he said with a laugh, erecting a barrier with a wave of his hand. Both Eldrich's sword and Valin's arrow glanced off uselessly. "You will have to hit me harder than that, Outsider!"
A bolt of lightening shot from Sovern's hand, aimed toward the now-too-close-for-comfort Eldrich. It was a warning shot, aimed toward his chest. Sovern was not ready to kill his new toys yet.

Mizar looked up lazily at Asmoday. She looked bored, but collected, completely dulled by Sovern's seizure of her power. With a flick of her wrist, a spike of purplish energy jolted outward from the barrier surrounding Mizar, aimed at Asmoday. She did not have the same delight in torment as Sovern did. This shot was aimed for the heart.

Eldrich was hit by the lighting bolt and exclaimed in pain as he dropped to one knee. He kept his hold on his sword, though staying in place for a little while, he stood up soon, "There is no need to hide my lineage, is there?" He said smiling. He took up his sword, seeming to have got a second wind, "You want me to hit harder, then I'll hit harder." He said, his power spiked further, though he knew it would only feed into Mizar's, and therefore go to Sovern, he knew that he needed all he could get. Eldrich ran in again with his sword drawn, he shot out a quick blast of light energy that moved directly before him as he charged in to attack with his sword.

Asmoday tried to fly hight to escape the jolt or at lest make it hit somewhere less important. She wasn't fast enough to escape it, it hit her in the stomach. She cringed in pain but didn't fall. She hovered in mid-ari holding she stomach. "I will not die by your hands." She yelled. Then with that she opened her mouth and let fire rain out.

Sovern sneered and, with the tiniest flick of his wrist, a great pillar of flame seemed to consume his arm and shoot outward toward Eldrich. It moved like a living thing, an extension of Sovern's arm. As it grew, the bulk of it seemed to take the vague shape of a dragon's head, mouth open and roaring. ready to bear down upon Eldrich.
"I've only just begun, little angel!" Sovern cried.
Sovern ignored Valin's arrow as it bounced harmlessly off his barrier. Nothing could get close to him.

Mizar did not flinch as Asmoday's fire rained down upon her--it merely rushed over her barrier, dividing like water.
Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Her thoughts roared at them, but she knew they couldn't hear her. She couldn't help them; she couldn't even help herself.
Mizar could, however, choose inaction. Sovern was distracted by Eldrich, and so she did not take advantage of Asmoday's vulnerability. She would do nothing until Sovern forced her to. She could help them that much.

Eldrich projected a small barrier to encapsulate himself and protect him from the flame. "So you are, perhaps, more powerful than I would have thought. Your pet, however, seems much more hesitant to attack." Eldrich said, smirking. Though this seemed more deceptive than his usual tactics, he wanted to distract Sovern so that he may be able to get in a good shot.

It was when Jet saw Asmoday take the hit from the spike that he began his slow march towards Sovern, or rather, Mizar. If the source of power was destroyed, then so would the machine, or that's what Jet thought until Mizar attacked no more. Then he saw that Mizar was just under Sovern's control, forced to do his bidding. Jet's eyes seemed like endless black pools and the stone near him melted as he walked nearer and neared to Sovern.
"One who chains others is never going to be given mercy. You insult me with your pathetic flame and the manipulation of its shape. If you wish to see a true flame, then come at me and let the others alone. You will find me a not-so-easy target as they may be."
The air around Jet shimmered with pure heat and steam roze from the melting stones, and he left footprints inlaid in the stone as he walked.
