Seth hides his arms behind his back to hide the holes in his coat even though he knows Lina can't see them. He nods his head a bit, taking another step into the room not sure what to say. "Yes." Seth said quietly. His mind was still buzzing over what had happened in the arena.

She blushes and looks away from him. She can't stand that he walked in on this. How very embarrassing. To have him know that she can't even feed herself anymore... Her blind eyes turn to Garron. "Thank you for helping me..."

Garron looks over at Seth and nods, before turning back to help Lina. But then nods and places the eating utensils down on the tray, and then got up, and retreated back to the corner near the balcony, his eyes taking on that indifferant, unobserving look about them, making his preasance less noticable, so as not to seem like he was intruding. His powers spreading out to scan the surrounding area.

Seth smiled a little, finding her actions to make her seem more human, after all, she had feelings too. He stepped forward but stopped when a shiver passed down his spine when he felt Garron's powers wash over him. He shook it off lightly before making a move towards Lina again.

She reaches out to the table, searching for her glass. Her hand bumps it and some of the water sloshes out. Lina quickly retracts her hand. Tears of utter frustration start down her cheeks. If she can't even get her own drink how is she to do other things? It's frustrating. Aggravating. It's almost more than she can stand.

Seth had stepped forward slowly when he saw Lina reaching for the glass, but jumped forward to catch the glass before it was knocked over completely. He noticed the small tear forming in Lina's eye and reached up a hand to brush against her cheek, not even bothering with the gem that formed from her tears. "I swear, as long as my heart is still beating, the man who dared cause this will pay." Seth said quietly, just so that Lina would hear. He knew he couldn't tell her not to cry or not to feel so upset over it, because it wouldn't do anything but hurt her more.

Garron frowned as all this happened... He overheard, but didn't register what Seth said to Lina, his mind focused on scanning the surrounding area for threats. But, ever the mercenary, his aura snaked out and silently snatched up each tar before it hit the ground. His arms now clasped behind his back, and his ice blue orbs glimmering ever so slightly as he seemed to stare vacantly off into space.

Lina manages to give a small smile. "You and Garron both then. I think Emmy chose wisely.." She wants to see his face again. To look into his eyes and know that it'll all be ok. All she has now is darkness. "I wonder how Princess Nital can stand living like this as she has..."

The princess takes comfort in the touch, that is obvious, but she shakes her head slightly. Lina can't imagine it. "I don't want to get used to it, Seth... There's so many things I miss now. I miss seeing. I miss going outside.."

Seth sighed a little, quiet and upset but he won't let himself feel this way. He is with Lina and that is what matters. She is upset and he will make her happy by whatever means he can. "I know, but you will not have to suffer this curse forever. I will restore your sight, even if it means killing myself to do it. I swear by whatever god that is listening that you will see again." Seth said, rubbing his finger gently along Lina's soft skin.

She shakes her head quite vigorously before wrapping her arms around him. "I don't want your life for my sight, Seth. Please, don't promise that. Please." She looks up at him though she can't really see him. "Are you well, though? Did you win your bout?"

Seth is a little surprised by the sudden hug, but doesn't resist as he places his arm around her. "Yes, I am well. I managed to overcome the opponent they set me against, though I am unsure how." Seth said quietly. He was glad the subject had been changed, he could feel his mind and energy had begun to slip and surge with his words.

A happy smile greets Seth's words. "What matters is that you did and that you're ok." She stretches up slightly and lays a kiss upon his cheek. "I'm glad you did well."

Seth smiles sheepishly and turns his head away from her, a small tinge of pink touching at his cheeks. The memories of what had happened caused him to shudder inwardly, but he wouldn't tell her who he battled. "As am I." Seth said quietly.
