Galadriël shook Nynaeve's hand. "It's nice to meet you, Nynaeve Mugwort of Breeland. You wouldn't happen to be talking about the Green Dragon, would you?" Galadriël smiled at the stories she had heard about the Green Dragon from two halflings she had run across while meeting the rangers. The way they charished their simple way of life was rather touching. She wondered how the people were faring in the North. She hadn't been there in over twenty years.

She would have to go and visit sometime. She dearly loved the North country. She hadn't been to Imladris for a while, and longed to see Elrond and speak with him. The two had not seen each other since she visited him seventy years ago. Yes, once she left Minas Tirith, she would head back up that way. On her way, she would stop and visit Lothlorien, and the Misty Mountains. She had been held up in the east too long for her liking. She liked men just fine, but they choked the life out of things, and she suffered greatly from home-sickness. Galadriël longed to see the oceans and her kin. She dreamt often of the immortal lands. She could feel the sea pressing for her. Ulmo had worked His magic on her, but she was not ready to leave, not yet. The wounds of the earth that men, orcs, and other creatures had created was very deep, too deep for a single elf to heal it entirely, but she was not willing to abandon it yet.

It was too easy. The elf was easily distracted by the appearance of someone somewhere in a nearby building, and Traell habitually slipped off into the fading darkness, hurrying quickly, unseen to his nest. Here, he would sleep out the morning, and be ready for another evening of adventure.

Surprise and pleasure lit up the young hobbits' face. "You've heard of it? Oh my, such a surprise that you've heard about my inn!" It took her most of her discipline not to hop from one foot to the other in joy.

Her scheme of drawing more customers and making the Inn more known was working! Although... She cleared her throat a little, "Have you known about the Green Dragon for a long time already?"

Galadriël watched the halfling squeal with delight. "Yes, I have never seen it, but I have heard of it." At the girl's next question, she answered, "Not too long. Why, it was only the last time I was down there that I ever even knew such a place existed. I haven't even known much of halflings for very long."

While the elf considered it not long at all, if the halfling had known how long, she would not have agreed. She had heard about the place 27 years ago, according to man's calendar. She had known about halflings for about seventy years.

Pondering this, Nynaeve started calculating how long it had took her to get this far. She was astonished to realize that she had been gone for more than 6 months already. Surely the fact that this elf knew about her inn was not her own doing.

"I assume that was the Green Dragon Inn from when my auntie still managed it. I've only inherited it for about a year and half." She scratched her nose absentmindedly as she allowed her eyes to wander. Only then did she notice that the sun had risen fully into the sky yet, and that life in the city had become more noticeable. "Oh my, it's already morning! I'm sorry for keeping you so long, Fair One."

<!-- Dang it! So sorry peeps! I'm back.-->

Galadriël looked up at the now risen sun. "Hmm. You are quite right. Why do you worry so much about such a light matter? Come, it is no trouble to me, if it is no trouble to you. Do not be sorry." Galadriël smiled lightly. Her mind was on much deeper matters, and she was far too involved in her own thoughts to care about little things. She knew she had probably already been seen by many people, as she was standing in the middle of a comical, peculiar scene: A halfling and an Elf discussing halfling affairs in a kingdom of Men. Ha! The thought of it made her want to laugh, as many things did. It was getting late in the morning by now, and she knew she would not make it to the home of her friend in time to catch him. She would simply wait there until he returned.

A small blush tinted Nynaeve's cheeks as she meekly folded her hands in front of her, letting them rest on the skirt of her gown. "I suppose.... I just figured that you must have some pressing business." She smiled a little as she waved her hand around her, gesturing to the humans.

"After all, one of the Old Race in a human town is not such a common thing, I would think - very much how you were surprised to see me, a Bree-Hobbit, here." She stumbled a bit on her feet as she tried to stand more relaxedly again, her cheeks tinted a deeper pink as she felt shy about being so tipsy. "I assumed you must be here for something important. Hence why I was concerned."
