The men wrap up the rider and carry him to the tent, laying him on a bed inside.

"Huh? What did you say? Oh, go get the medic and bring her in here. I want him well enough to talk by morning, if possible. You, go check on the horse," the tall man left the tent, deep in thought.

The men just shrugged, looking around. Then one of them spoke, "We aren't sure, his horse just brought him here."

She looked at them as if they were children. She wanted to know about him not his horse. "Well what was he doing?" She leaned over him and was immediately so occupied with tending the mans wounds that she didn’t hear whatever reply they gave her. This mans life was more important then reasons.

Seeing that the medic wasnt listening and their job was done, they left the tent and went back to what they were doing before the interruption. Meanwhile, the medic got to work on the tedious work that lied ahead for her.

She was glad that they had left. It gave her the privacy she needed. She hated seeing people die and conventional healing methods weren’t going to save this mans life. Saving his life was going to require the strength of ones soul reaching to bring back another’s.

She walked into the tent and knelt down beside the medic. "Is he going to be okay?"

"I'm not sure" she said in a soft voice. "Would you start cleaning his wounds while I foccus on the deeper damage?" She was glad that it was Andi and not the general. Andi already knew her secret.

Making a face, she nodded then started cleaning the wounds. "Do you know what happened?" Her voice had a concerned tone in it, but her face went completely emotionless.

"I think he might be one of the scouts, or a messenger maybe. He wasn't concious when I arrived." She began to rub the mans shoulders and neck theraputicly. An eerily sweet melody began slipping through her lips. The man slowly relaxed and his fists released their own bloody flesh.

Casting a glance towards the other lady she went on with cleaning the wounds. How again did she get suckered in to this, well however she did, it was for a good cause. A small hum emerged from her lips as she follwed the tune the medic had started.
