I ate mostly banana chips and dried pineapple today. However, we had Spanish rice, steak, and cantelope tonight. Thing is, towards the end of my steak I saw what looked like a thick vein. It made me think about what it had once been a part of and, like has many times before, made me not want to eat it. Everyone else noticed that something was wrong. I didn't want to talk about it because I knew my grandmother would try to talk me into eating the rest of it and it would turn nasty. Anyway, I ate some more rice and my cantelope and got up to leave the table. I didn't do anything weird when I got up - I just got up like I normally do. Grandma asked me if something was wrong; I said no. She kept pushing me, and I kept saying that everything was fine. Mom came into my room with me and asked why I was being so nasty and rude, which I wasn't being - I was trying to prevent nastiness. I said I just did my normal thing and they were being nasty to me. She said I had gotten up sort of glumly, so they were wondering. I told her I didn't want to talk about it. Why can't they let me be sometimes?

Or at least tell them why it upsets you?

My grandmother doesn't like the idea. not to be mean or anything... but to hell with what your grandmother thinks!!! my mom hates the fact that i'm going veggi (the only meat i eat at the moment is the occasional bit of chicken and sushi) but she also hated the fact that i'm atheist. i just told her to deal with it, basically. anyhoo, i had an english muffin for breakfast, string cheese for a snack, a tomato, motzarella cheese, and spinache sandwich with chips for lunch, and mushroom and onion pizza with some salad for dinner. and lots of iced tea. ha ha

Alex, you're a freak. Anyone who eats string cheese as a snack is a freak. That stuff is scary.

I had a Go Girl energy drink, a sobe, a PBJ, and some pot roast today (the PBJ was the height of awesome), but I had this excellent veggie burrito at school last week. The next time I have $6 at school, I need to get it again! It had avocado, rice, beans, tomato, onion, and I can't remember what else. Served with chips and salsa.

Breakfast: A bite of my dad's doughnut. He didn't appreciate that my version of a bite is to rip off about half of the doughnut and eat it.
Lunch: Two cheesburgers, a French fries, and an iced tea at McDonald's. Also, I had like two of my friend Kaylee's Chicken McNuggets.
Snack: Kaylee and I went to Starbucks and got Frappucinos. We also split a raspbetty peach parfait and two packages of Madelines.
Dinner: Pot roast with corn and baked potatoes.
