She smiles, happy about finding a new staff. So what if she had to tell a little lie to get some? Part of it was true, she had no family to help her, they had been killed, leaving the pub to her. Making herself a cute little kit was the lie. In truth, she was 16, but she could change her age at any time she wanted, and she was perfectly capable of running the pub. But cute seems to draw the crowd.
"Hey, barkeep. I need to know your name if you'll be working for me. Same with my waitresses. The first 3 that showed up can have the jobs, please that's all I need for now. The rest of those seeking jobs, if I need you, I'll let you know. I'm Jak, by the way. Oh, and get me a milk, barkeep. Chocolate milk!"
Hey, she had to keep playing up that she was a child, throwing a bit of business in there so she'd be able to keep her job as the owner and manager of the place.

Jak caught the skunkette's eye, holding her gaze for a moment, before turning back to the bar. "Barkeep, my milk?"

She flicked her ears, her whole head shaking with them again. Perhaps we need a suggestions box. And a tip jar would be a good thing too, maybe. she hopped off her seat, dashing into the back for a moment, coming back out with a box and a jar. The box read 'Suggestions?" in cute little kid-like writing, both the s's were backwards, and the letters didn't appear to be written on a straight line. She set the box down at the end of the bar, with the tips jar next to it, a label with neatly written 'Tips' on it stuck to the outside, a corner curling slightly. She took a step back, a smug grin across her face. Her tail wagged, and she turned to look at her pub, customers seated around, chatting and seeming to be enjoying their stay, for they weren't leaving with disgusted looks like they had when her father and mother had run the Pub.
"Uhm, maybe we'll need some cooks too." She lifted a finger to her chin in thought, leaning on her left leg a little, drooping her ears a little, something she always did when thinking.

She trotted back to her stool, climbing up. There she perched, her toeclaws pointing downward, as far as she could get them. Her eyes danced over to the man who walked through the door. She couldn't quite tell what species he was, her eyes young and not too sharp as they were in her teenage self.
"Can you cook?" She called out, her tail swishing, the tip just touching the floor, brushing dust around as well as stray hairs that decided to leave the nest. Er, tail.

Walks in and looks around "I'm a human that loves furries... can I be a waitress too?"

oh well better get to the kitchen then*smiles as my blue eyes looks at the girl who just order the pasta and goes into the kitchen and starts cookin and finishes it by putting some sauce on the pasta and some cheese and hands a plate to her*here you go i hope you'll like it*smiles so gentle*

She picked up the glass, sipping casually. Well, he seemed like a good cook. Her results would come when the lady took a bite and made a reaction.
"Hmm..." She muttered to herself, wondering what else she could do to spruce the place up.
She hopped over the bar, trotting over to Jacky, standing next to him. She looked up at him, studying his features, and what he was doing. Of course she knew how to pour drinks, she just wanted to see if he did it differently.
