Maia stared at Tori as she started to shake. "What are you crying about, doll? I just said---Karen. Nice to see you're up. Ready to go?" Maia, though she sounded fine, was in no condition to be leaving now. Her vision was still off. Tori sniffled, wiping her eyes with her forearm. "But...what are we going to do...?"
Maia turned back to Tori, her expression still emotionless. "Bug your other savior. Get a life. I'm fine without slaves."

Karen smiled sweetly as Maia started to change the subject. She walked next to Maia and saw how hurt Tori was. Karen than frowned at Maia. "Well, Maia, ya ain't in any condition to be walkin' around everywhere ya please. Plus, ya could've be a little nicer to Tori." Karen said as she held Minty with one arm, flicking her hair with the other hand.

"I'm fine." she snarled, glaring at Tori. "I'm done with you, anyways."
Sawyer had appeared next to Tori, looking at Karen. Tori leaned towards her brother, silent and crying. "It's best that if you stay here for a while. You don't want to put them in further danger."
Maia snickered, looking out towards the ocean, scanning the ramparts of broken ships along the waters. "Have it your way, dolls. Just don't be surprised if I'm gone by the tommorrow night."
Sawyer patted Tori's back as she ran away from the group in a rush. "She won't leave you alone until you accept her. You know this right?"
Maia looked at him for a second and smirked, "If she decides to tag along with me, I'll drop off her bones when I finish."
Sawyer stayed calm and watched her turn her face away. "You wouldn't kill a child."
"Then I suppose you don't know me...Diablo's didn't have a heart, why should I?"

Karen giggled slightly. "Maia, if ya wish to leave, than tell me. I will help ya leave this place. But I say that it isn't right to just up and leave like this." Karen tossed Minty up as she would catch her as she came down. She giggled a little as she thought she was having fun. She began to listen to the man and Maia chatter away. She then looked at the man. "Sorry if I intrude, but...Maia is pratically heartless. Ya see she is pregnant, but she kept throwing herself at Eliza like it was nothin'." Karen then walked over and stood by Maia again.

"No he can't see I'm pregnant. It's just the water weight," she snaped sarcastically.
Sawyer saw Karen, still frowning. "If she had kept fighting...her and her "water weight" would have died."
Maia froze. She never did like the idea of death when she had the advantage of living forever. She felt Karen's prescence next to her and looked away, the wind blowing against a tear that had managed to lurk down her face. She was in more pain than she had let on, and just their talking made her body ache even more.
Sawyer continued, "Tori told me everything that had happened...if Maia had kept fighting, her bodies ability to heal would have slowed down even faster. If you lost anymore blood, you wouldn't have had enough to support your children and with your rapid movement they would've died. The silver----"
"Shut up!" she screamed, closing her eyes and dropping her head into a hand. The crash of the waves started to die down, Maia starting to shake. "How many times have I told you...doll, hmm? They arent. My. Children."
She gritted her teeth, opening her eyes and staring out over the ship at a point nearby. "If you don't want me to leave...you might as well shoot me too." She jumped over the edge and onto a wreckage about a quarter of a mile away.

Karen listened in as she heard Maia and Sawyer talk. She held Minty close as she heard what Sawyer had to say. She didn't like the fact that Maia would've died if she kept going. But she knew Maia was a fighter. Nothing would've stopped her at all. She felt the wind pick up again and smelt the salty scent of the sea. When she smelt the salt it reminded her of the incident that had just occured not to long ago. Her attention snapped back when she heard Maia get angry. She watched as Maia jumped from the ship onto some wreckage. Karen laughed slighty as she watched Maia being stubborn as usual.

Sawyer ran to the railing, then looked alarmedly at Karen. "You can't let her get away! Her condition is too unstable."

Karen still watched Maia and laughed when she heard how alarmed Sawyer sounded. "Calm down. She isn't getting away. I'm sure Maia knows, just as you and I, that she is in no condition to head anywhere at the time being. I'm just gonna let her sit and think. If she decides to try and run off, than I will go after her. But, on another note, I still haven't gotten your name, sir." Karen said to Sawyer, as she laid Minty on the railing.

Maia jumped towards the land, disapearing into the trees. However, when she tried to land on a branch, she landed badly, falling to the ground but somehow landing on her feet. Even if she didn't care for the kids, there would be hell to pay if they died. She stood, walking towards the starting building blocks of the lighthouse.
Sawyer turned to Karen and sighed. "Sawyer." Defeated, he took a few steps away from the railing, walking inside.

Karen smiled sweetly as she looked at Swyer. "That's a nice name." She said as he disappeared back into the ship. Karen kept her eyes on Maia the whole time. She saw her jump onto the land and end up with a not so great landing. She then watched as Maia walked towards the incomplete lighthouse. Even if Maia didn't want to be protected, Karen still felt it was her duty to keep her eye on Maia.

She slunk through the open doorway, finding enough shade to sit for a bit. She was still rather hungry but too lazy and weak to find something for herself. The werewolf sighed, and looked up at the stars.

Karen still looked at Maia from the ship. She then noticed Maia looking up at the stars. "I wonder if she is lonely." Karen said softly as she still looked at her.

A few hours later, hunger got the best of her. She stood up weakly, barely able to do it by herself now. She hated that she was so far away from land and she hated to swim or have anything to do with water. Maia, stranded, glanced back at the ship noticing Karen with a scowl. She wouldn't run away just to go back.

Karen looked out at the helpless Maia. She pet Minty softly as she stilled looked out at her. She smiled sweetly watching Maia closely. Of course she would end up getting hungry. But Karen wouldn't allow her to get anywhere except for back on the ship.

The sun was coming up soon and it was better if she would get back on the ship as soon as she could. She had no guns so it wasn't like she could shoot a bird and eat that. Maia continued to walk around on the small island, looking for something.
