She was tempted to light another smoke, vaguely having the impression that it would only be swatted away. It was hard for her to keep her legs crossed like this, her added weight adding to this difficulty. "Of course she does...she's a daydreaming sap and probably doesn't know how much it hurts."

Karen still had her eyes on the crab climbing up the post. " Well, she'll get to feel that pain you so hate. Whenever she gets to have the children." Karen said as the wind picked up a little more. Karen watched the cab struggle even more. She watched it closely, and then watched it slip off the post. Down it went towards the sea. Karen heard a soft splush sound, when the crab had hit the water.

The splushing noise of the crab breaking the water made her uneasier. "Yeah...pain." she mumbled absently. The soft breeze blew her hair aside and into her face. She bit her lip looking away from her reflection. "Damn..." She smelt the aroma of seafood waft towards her and she felt her stomach rumble. She made as if to stand, but like a bowling bowl, just rocked.

Karen had smelt the seafood as well. Her stomach began to grumbled, and she stood up. She watched Maia attempt to stand up, and held back her snicker. She didn't want Maia to fall over though, so she said. " Here, I will help ya up." Karen kneeled down behind Maia, and took her arms through Maia's. She then brought them up, where she was holding onto Maia's shoulders. Slowly Karen dragged Maia away from the edge of the dock. Let's hope this dock wasn't old, because no one wants splinters in their romp. Karen would then try to pull Maia up with her, so that they were both standing.

Maia was dragged but didn't retaliate but after she was standing she didn't even bother to say thank you. "How humiliating..." she grumbled, brushing herself off. Her shirt was very loose, her leather jacket barely being able to get around her stomach. She felt them move and she didn't reach out to Karen for support but waited for the feeling to pass before walking. "I need a meal..." she thought aloud, walking towards a grill and bar hut.

Karen looked at Maia, and then followed her. " It isn't that humiliating." She said as she reaced the grill and bar hut as well. " Sounds like a good idea. I haven't ate at all today, and I am quite hungry." Karen smiled a little at the smell of food.

Maia sat down, watching small sea creatures being burnt on the grill. "What's the juiciest thing you've got...?" she asked the chef behind the counter, eyeing a big steak and fish ready to be put on. "I'll have the steak then...very rare. And I mean...very." she said threateningly but then flashed a smile. But the Chef obviously saw her struggle and just laughed before cooking her meal, putting a drink on the table in front of her.

Karen then seated herself next to Maia. She watched as chefs were cooking some tasty meals. Her mouth watered just seeing them. " Just give me whatever is good. And a lot of it too." Karen said as a watered was placed in front of her. She then gulped it down with no hesitation.

Maia didn't even glance looking at the cup, the taste and even look of water making her gag. She watched when the steak was put in front of her, blood seeping out of the sides. She stabbed it with a knife, cutting it down and making rather large bites. A dish of red liquid was slid next to her plate and the vendor smiled. "Don't worry. We get a lot of your kind around here." Maia took the dish full of blood and sipped on it tentitively, licking her lips. "And good luck with...whatever you're carrying." he said friendishly, and disapeared behind a curtain. Maia sat speechless, looking down her food and eating slower then the ravenous pace she had been.

Another water was placed in front of Karen, after she downed her first one. She watched as Maia's meal came out. Karen's mouth watered even more from seeing this delicious meal. She heard the chef saying a few things to Maia, and then noticed her food was in front of her. She noticed a steak on her plate. There was also three grilled fish. To top it all off, there was a small grilled squid placed at the side. Karen looked at her meal for a second and than began to eat some of the steak.

"Pathetic humans..." she muttered angrily, stuffing a rather large piece of steak into her hungry mouth. Her appetite had increased heavily over the past few months. "Thinking they will get on our good side by bribing us..." she drank the rest of the blood, her eyes looking downcast.

Karen cut a peice of the squid apart, and then tasted it. " Not bad." She smiled eagerly at the taste. " I did find it weird he was sayin' stupid stuff like that to ya. Do ya always get that when ya go out to eat?" Karen asked Maia through her food. Karen then gulped down her second water, getting another one brought to her.

"Stupid old ********." She was finished rather quickly, dragging her finger along her plate and licking the blood off. Maia glanced at her and shook her head, doing the same thing again.

"I'm sure you aren't used to such hospitality are you?" Eliza appeared from behind the curtain, smirking. "Maybe the only thing you are good at doing is this scrounging for every single drop you can get. And then once you've got what you've wanted, you disapear...without a word...or trace." A deep, prolonging hatred started to burn in her eyes. "Isn't that right?"

Maia smiled, taking her finger from her mouth. "Yeah. Sure. If that's what you got out on the uptake. Or did it take a long time for a dumb blonde like you to figure it out?" Maia had not been going to work for a months and didn't tell Eliza that she left. "Didn't I leave you bleeding somewhere? I was hoping you would have died already." She trailed her hand on the plate nonchalantly, looking amused and yet bored at the same time.
