 At this point, Alexander was becoming exaughsted with the fighting, but nonetheless still made the best effort possible. Twiggy hit Alexander again, but this time it seemed to do less damage. "Alex, don't give up yet. You've got a chance to win this." A little more worried now, Frederic said this with as much confidence as possible, knowing that if he faltered, so would Alexander. "Okay, give it your all, pound attack!" 4 damage to enemy pokemon Alexander 11

Uh oh, here came pound again. "Quick dodge it Twiggy and use vine whip!"
He tried dodging but took a little more damage than last time before releasing his vines on the dratini, snapping and whipping them at the sky blue and white hide. He was surprised he was doing so well, considering this was his first battle. But he was beginning to feel fatigued from how long it was turning out to be.

It kept getting harder and harder for Frederic to keep calm. His voice, while still reassuring, sounded less confident than before. "Okay Alex, it's getting down to the wire. It's now or never, Wrap attack!" Not all too recovered after that last attack, Alexander steadied himself a bit before responding to his trainer. Tensing his body up, Alexander launched a wrap attack. 1 damage to enemy pokemon -_- Alexander 8

He merely did a sidestep the dratini just barely grazing him as he went in for a wrap attack. Spinel told him to use leech seed again, so he bowed and shot a few seeds from his bulb at Alexander's eye again, hoping it would do more damage than it had before.

Alexander struggled to get back up again after that last attack but managed to do so with some effort. With a tired and battered look on his face he turned once again to face his opponent. "Alex, I believe in you, attack with tackle!" Alex did so with no hesitation as he flung himself blindly towards his opponent. 6 damage to enemy pokemon Alexander 5

Twiggy was much slower now as he tried to move. The tackle hit him almost dead on and he was forced back a couple of feet away, eyes closed in pain. His expression was not so relaxed anymore.
"Come on Twiggy, you're doing great! Just hold on a little longer! Use take down again!"
It was a little slower this time, but he charged at the dratini anyways when he got up from off the ground.

Alexander was fit full on by that last attack and finally fainted from all the effort that he expended. Frederic rushed over to comfort his fallen dratini before recalling him into his pokeball. "Wow, that sure was a close battle. Twiggy was great and I hope that I'm able to battle against you and emi soon. I'm sure that Alexander wants the same thing." With that, he held offered a handshake to Spinel while congratulating the trainer for the exciting battle. Alexander -2

"Excellent Twiggy! You won your first battle!" Spinel yeeled as she and Emi ran over to congradulate the panting bulbasaur, who gave them a weak but happy smile before he was returned to his pokeball. The trainer stood up to see Frederic walking over and saying congradulations. "Thanks! You battled just as well as you did last time, I thought for sure we'd had it at the end. Couldn't let Twiggy know I thought that now, could I?" She said with a smile, taking his hand. She was just about to reply about battling again soon before Emi hopped on her shoulder.
"Rai raichu!" She said firmly, the gleam in her eye. Spinel laughed at her and pat her head.

A seventeen year old trainer walked into the Stadium with an air of confidence about her and a Raichu clinging to her shoulder. The bulbasaur battled for the first yesterday and managed to come out victorious, but today was a new day.
Her challanger stood across the arena from her and she reached down to her belt. On the right side were three pokeballs, each belonging solely to her. Instead she reached down her left side and grabbed a regular pokeball, pressing the white button and enlarging it before throwing it onto the field. "Alright Twiggy, you did great last time, but today is a different opponent. Let's see how well you do."
The ball hit the ground and in a flash of white light stood a Bulbasaur, looking rather relaxed and perhaps slightly tired from yesterdays match, it was pretty drawn out and both pokemon were worse for wear before it ended.

It was time to get some serious training in. Not jumping around for once, Ruri stood on her side of the battlefield and waited for the opponents Pokemon to come out. Oh, so a Bulbasaur? Lore should fight well against hit.
In a flash of red light, a Meditite was let out of his ball. Taking an advantage of his higher speed, he instantly moved into the attack. The area around him rippled, glowing purple as he used Confusion and pushed at the enemy Bulbasaur with his mind.
“Ya know you could at least wait for my command!” Ruri huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

Oh, it was the meditite again. Spinel remembered fighting it with Brick, her geodude, and lost. It was a rather pitiful fight, actually...but that didn't matter now, this time it was the shops pokemon and she would make sure to give it some good exorcise so it could be happy, even if it did have an overly relaxed nature.
Twiggy was so relaxed, even, that he almost dozed off, not noticing the meditite or it's attack. Suddenly his mind hurt and his face contorted in pain from the confusion attack, and he realized he wasn't alone on the battlefield now. Shaking the attack off as best he could her rose to his feet and waited for Spinel's command.
"Watch out, this meditite has wicked powerful attacks. Sorry for not warning you sooner Twiggy." She apologized. He didn't seem to mind, he probably wasn't awake enough to realize he had been told to do something in time anyways. "Use vine whip!" She remembered that using close ranged attacks wouldn't be the best idea.
"Bulba, saur!" Twiggy replied as the vines shot out from beneath the bulb on his back, snapping at the meditite and trying to maintain a safe distance from it's fighting moves.

Ruri might not have commanded it but it had still been a damn good hit. She grinned. “Good shot Lore.” Turning her attention back to the other Pokemon she looked it over with a smile, she had always been fond of Bulbasaur’s. Oh, and hey… realizing she recognized the trainer, she gave a small wave. So much for paying attention, Spinel… that had been the name right?… probably thought she was a snob.
Lore had that small cocky grin on his face as he watched his attack hit. But the Twiggy retaliated quickly and with a strength the Meditite hadn’t counted on. “Medi!” The Vine Whip Attack hit him straight on, sending his flying back into the dirt. “Dodge it, Lore! Then use Psybeam!”
The vines pounded into him painfully until he quickly rolled to the side, leaping to his feet and launching his Psybeam attack at Twiggy. The brightly coloured beam shot towards the Bulbasaur, a grim Lore putting in as much power as he could.

Spinel almost didn't notice that the trainer across the arena waved at her a little. Returning the wave with a smile, she was quick to get back to the battle.
The vines retreated back beneath the bulb on the Bulbasaurs' back, and he waited for the next command. He still looked pretty relaxed, despite being in a battle. It was one of those little quirks of his that Spinel was beginning to recognize, like how serious a competitor her Raichu, Emi, was.
"Quick! Dodge counter with Leech Seed!"
Twiggy attempted dodging it but was hit pretty hard on his flank, sending him spinning for a brief period of time. Shaking his head he went into a sort of bow-like pose, seeds shooting out from the top of the bulb and aimed straight at his eyes, as he had been instructed when he fought Alexander.

The attack had hit well, though Lore obviously wished it had done a bit more damage. He let out a little sigh as he glared at the Bulbasaur, waiting for the next attack. He didn’t have to wait long. The odd seeds came flying at him through the air.
“Leech Seed? Er… I dunno, do something!”
Do something? Lore attempted to bat the little seeds away with his hand. It didn’t work to well, since they simply clung to his hand and arms. But at least they weren’t on his face. Then they started glowing and Lore felt his strength being sapped away. His eyes widened.
“Get those things off! Use Confusion again!” Ruri yelled in command.
The Meditite closed his eyes, ignoring his increasing fatigue, and sent out a wave of psychic powers with Confusion. The seeds fell from his body. That done he then focused upon the Bulbasaur.
