At times like this she couldn't believe she was in Midvale. What would her family have thought, coming into territory that they were barely in neutral terms with. Then again, he had also been in Baena before the war had started.
"So why are we here anyways?" Ixi asked, the little fairy moving around the red haired woman as she looked around in annoyance. Midvale was somewhere that they would probably be kicked out of if they knew who Fallon truly was. Then again, no one would ever suspect who either of them were.
"I'm here for the competition," Fallon answered with a shrug, pushing some of her red hair aside.
"You want to be a knight for midvale?" Ixi asked, confused.
"No, but it might be worth challenge," Fallon answered with amusement as she started walking toward the palace.

Lia wandered out of the house. Her adoptive father was already down in the bellows, hammering at some hunk of metal. He'd been busy lately, making new swords and different helms for teh Pirncess's new knights. Of course he'd have to meet the additions and fit them, but that was for another time. He was extemely skilled and could do as he pleased with the armor for the moment. Going up the street, she found that she was wandering toward the grounds where the contest was to be held.

Derric watched people come and go through the area, everyone was excited about the contest. He thought about signing up as he watched a little boy with a bow laughing as his father taught him the beautiful art. A memory came rushing back, but he pushed it away he would'nt remember them, he had to forget, or it would be his weakness. He pulled his black hood over his head and continued to watch.

"I can't believe you are going to get us into this," Ixi whispered angrily as she hid inside of Fallon's shirt. The females eyes looked around the area, looking at the competition. Her own sword hung at her side, ready for action whenever it was necessary. Fallon was a wanderer, one looking for knowledge and exploring the arts that she found fitting, as well as ones that could help her in her predicament. Besides, if she got to look at a cute princess it was all worth while, right? "Perverted male."
"Huh?" Fallon asked, interrupted from her thoughts.
"Even as a female you are a dirty male!" Ixi hissed, smacking Fallon on her shoulder. "Why couldn't the curse have given you a female a mind! That way you might actually have a brain and realize this is the most assassine idea you've had yet!"
"Because I'm not a girl," Fallon answered as she rolled her eyes. This was not the conversation she wanted to be having with the fairy, especially right now. "Anyways, this is the closest I've been to home in a very long time. The king whom father had his disagreements with isn't even alive any longer, from what I've heard. Maybe there is even a chance for the kingdoms to get along. Not too likely but its worth a shot."
"You just want to look at her breasts," Ixi grumbled, forcing Fallon to blush as she took the fairy out of hiding, holding her by her wings. "Pervert."
"Hush, I don't want too..."
Sighing, Fallon gave up and let go the fairy, her squeeling as she started to drop before she took flight, flying over Fallon's head. As the fairy was getting ready to curse or rather, possibly curse Fallon, she watched as Fallon began walking through the crowed, looking for anything, or rather, anyone that caught her interest before the competition began. Maybe she could get a glimse of the princess she had heard existed while she was still a prince in Extar many years ago...

Sneaking through the crowd he stood by the table for sign up. He stood there looking over the entrants studing and waiting for orders.

Alaina Walked over to her favorite shade tree an sat down. I hope there won't be any trouble today. Unlce has been really scary as of late. Wonder if he is going to try another sneaky trick. As she sat there an pondered what more could go wrong she spot a few of the arrivals.

And, of course, such a commotion ensured that everyone within a fifty-mile radius found out about the competition. Some desirable, and some most certainly not. At least one person of the latter category did. And he was known as the Dark Sorceror. A Sorceror of such infamy that people told their children, 'Don't do anything naughty, or the Dark Sorceror will come to eat you up!' A ruse to create fear amongst the young ones, probably not an actual truth, but you get the point.
And, at the present, he was lounging in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Lia walked into the field where the competetion would be held. Curiosity had won a silent argument in her head and here she was. She wandered around and bumped into someone that was walking around. A redheaded young woman as it happened. "I'm sorry, excuse me." she muttered and walked on. Shyness still crept up on her when she wasn't expecting it.

"Hey," Fallon answered, sighing as she put her hand through her hair. Before she could even really say much of anything, Ixi was flyingin the air, following the girl who had just bumped into them.
Flying in front of her face, Ixi put her hands on her hips, flying in midair in front of Lia. From the look on her face, it was obvious, at least to the fairy, that she was of some importance. "You should watch where your going! You should be honored that the might Fallon doesn't.....ahhh!!"
"Sorry about that," Fallon suddenly stated with a sigh, catching the fairy between his hands to quite her shouts and hopefully muffle her until she calmed down. "I hope she didn't bother you too much."
"Let me go, Fallon, or I will curse you so bad!" Ixi snapped.

Derric turned his head slightly to look at the two girls. A small ghost of a smile played on his lips as he stepped up to sign the form.

As Fallon looked at the other female, Ixi squeezed out of the pair of feminine hands. More than anything Fallon seemed embarrassed by the fairy's behavior, annoying Ixi even more. All she was doing was demanding Fallon got the respect he deserved! He should be more appreciative of her efforts!
Before Fallon could even respond to the fairy she flew off angirly, going high above the crowd to try looking at the competition. Most of them seemed rather boring to her, except for a handful of people, but she couldn't convince Fallon to ignore the silliness. What was so interesting about Princesses anyways? It was then that she saw the beautiful brown haired girl sitting under a tree, watching all the people pass by. Curiously, she stood on a flower, watching the girl's movements.
"Wonder what such a pretty girl is doing here?" Ixi asked, her curiosity getting the best of her...like usual.
NRP: I'm making Ixi purple for now on to make things easier.

Alaina sat picking at the grass next to her. Wondering what her Unlce was planning next, an if that wasn't bad there was reports that there was movment near the Dark Sorcerer's house.

As the princess was pulling up grass, Ixi moved closer onto weed like flowers, sitting on them as she tried getting a closer look at the princess. Yet, as her luck had it, the princess soon picked the flower she was on, ready to throw it aside as Ixi squeeled, surprised by the sudden movement on the flower as she was face to face with the woman she was spying on.

Her head turned at the high pitched squeel struck her ear drums. "Uh -Fallon, is it- is that your, uh friend?" she asked, looking toward the source. Her eyes widened when she saw who was sitting there, Princess Alaina herself.
