Midoriko’s hair, and body changed. Her hair changed from her ocean blue, too heartless black. Her skin changed to ghost pale, and her eyes changed to blood thirsty red. Her black wings were forced out of her back. Her hair grew a lot longer, her ear fins fell off her head, and she had pointed demonic ears. She wasn’t Midoriko anymore…she was something, totally different. Her body fall back onto the bed, she laid still for a brief moment. Adarias got off and the Phantom let go of her hands. “Now, if she awakes, she is the one I’ve been searching for…” She didn’t move at all. He tilted his head for a moment. “We’ll just leave her for a moment.” He was about to leave the room, but he heard a moan behind him. His head turned around, and she was standing before him. He was pleased…very pleased. He walked over to her and placed his hand on her cheek, and rubbed it. “Welcome back, my Queen.”
Lethogar left the Sanctuary and went into the town. He wanted to leave the place were he last saw Midoriko. As he was making his way down, he bumped into someone and fell to the ground. He rubbed his eyes and looked in front of him. It was the Neko girl he met. She looked over at him. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean too…” She paused for a moment. She could scene the sadness in him…the loneliness. He stood up not saying a word. He began to walk, but she stopped him by grabbing his arm. “Whats wrong…?” He didn’t want to move; so he just stood there and said nothing. Finally after a few moments, he began to speak.
“I lost someone I cared dearly about.” He wanted to leave and mope somewhere else, but he didn’t move still. She walked over and looked into his eyes. “Who was she…?” He looked up at her and sighed. “She was the one sent to be the kings sons bride…” He paused and stopped talking. “Does…she have a name?” He chuckled once, and continued. “Yes…her name was Midoriko K-” She had to cut in. “Midoriko is here?!?! Oh my god, where is she now?!” He jumped for a moment, and his eyes grew. “Wait a minute! You know her?!” She nodded. “Yes! I’m her best friend Minoia!” He felt excited for a moment, but then it faded away. He sighed once again. “What happened to her…” He couldn’t tell her best friend what had happened to her, but he didn’t have much choice. “My guess is…that someone had taken her…” Minoia let go of his arm. “Oh no…I didn’t think they would actually go after ********!!” She smashed her fist into a garbage can. The lid had fallen onto Quaffs head. “Owww! What the hell!” Lethogar recognized that voice.
Quaff stood up and stomped out of the ally way. “Why you little-...Lethogar! Hey! We were looking for you!” Lethogar’s sad though of Midoriko washed away once he was with his friends again. “Quaff!!”
Nessa heard a loud sound as she awoke. She stood up and walked out of the ally way, to see Quaff, Lethogar, and a strange girl with green hair. Nessa looked around, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Lethogar, is that really you?” He smiled slightly and nodded. She smiled for a moment. She gasped and walked behind him. She looked around, then sighed. “Lethogar…did you find Mido?” Lethogar’s emotion dropped from relief to complete depression. It was light someone had stabbed him then pulled the blade out. He turned around away from everyone; he collapsed on the ground. Minoia frowned and placed her hand on his shoulder. Nessa and Quaff both looked at each other for a second, then back at Lethogar. Quaff walked over in front of him and squatted down; he looked up at his face. “You didn’t find her…didn’t you...?” Lethogar shook his head. “I found her...but then I lost her...for good.” Quaff stood up very quickly and almost fell back on his feet. At the same time Nessa gasped. “What? What do you mean? What are you talking about...you lost her for good?”
“She was taken by Captain Kaji Yuri by the order of the King, so that she would marry his son, Mathias. But in reality, they needed her help to solve a crime...Kaji’s brother was captured, and he doesn’t know what had happened to him; he believed that Mathias’ father had something to do with his disappearance. Mathias on the other hand is only playing along to his father’s wishes. He is also wondering about his father; if he also was helping out on this crime that they spoke of.”
“Did they say anything about the crime that was committed?” Nessa asked curiously.
