Her ears flickered in response. So what if she was weird. That point had already been made. "So what? If I like me, I'm sure someone else will someday..." She had meant to say it stronger, but the statement dwindled at the very end. There was always that small voice in the back of her mind that was always telling her that things may not turn out how she'd like...

It was all Banjoko could do not to laugh. His sudden feelings of pity held him back. She thought someone else would like her someday? Well ... ridiculous! Stupid! But he would let her have her little dream. Everyone who knew anything knew that the only way a weirder could be accepted was as a raindancer like old Akoth. Dumbdumbdumb. Being a mutant left you open to all kinds of funny influences, most of them bad. Banjoko wouldn't be bad, oh no he wouldn't, but he understood the reasoning. He snorted at the female and began to walk away. He had had enough of this foolish talk. Time to go ... oh, to go do something. "Don' follow me, ugly. Won't find anyone to like 'ee, an' def'nitely not me."

A soft growl rose in the back of Sauda's throut. A feeling had washed over her. The feeling of being humored, but it felt like she was being mocked. "Your wrong. I will find someone. Someday, and not from one who insults me like you." Eerie eyes glowered at the male's retreating form before a thought crept into her mind. The mauve cub leapt to her feet, following him at a short distance. "I'll stop following if you tell me your name."

Anything to get the hideous thing away from him. Banjoko opened his mouth but stopped just short of speaking his name. Say, what did she want it for, anyways? He frowned. She might need it for some nasty witching. "What d'you want it for, anyhow?" The cub snapped, turning his head for a moment to glare at his follower. She looked angry. Tough. Banjoko was angry too.
