Joey all the way.
I used to like Johnny because I found him physically best looking (this was before I really knew anything about the Ramones xd ) but then I found out more about his personality and he didn't seem the kind of guy I like. Dee Dee was great, and so were all the drummers, but what it boils down to, for me, is:
All of them except Joey were replaceable. Now don't bite me-- I know Dee Dee was priceless. He was a good bassist and a great songwriter. But the fact of the matter is that the Ramones kept going after he quit the band. A lot of people don't like CJ, but he did fill the gap. Now clearly all the drummers were replaceable, since all of them -were- replaced. Johnny stuck with the band all the way through, but really anyone could play guitar like him (although they might not be content with the no-frills attack). But Joey was really the heart and soul of the Ramones; no one had a voice like Joey, no one had a personality like Joey, no one LOOKED like Joey. Nobody could replace Joey, and the other Ramones realized that; when he died they vowed never to play again.
Also, he seemed like a really nice guy. heart
So those are my reasons. :3

I know but I was speaking physically. and I think dee dee was a better musician than joey. I love joey though.
