*He wondered, the word slipping off of his tongue, as he spoke. He did not understand. Mates where friends? Like his sister and Aino?*
"Eh... whats a friend?"
*He asked, feeling rather silly for it.*

*Zira let out a soft growl but mainly she sighed with relife as she heard Tobias. Friends... Her eyes narrowed dangerously as she quickly slunk up beind her son and firmly scooped him up in her jaws her teeth clamping down on him she would NOT let him run again.*

Felix just stared at Tobias, "What's a friend?....." He thought for a moment, not quite sure how to respond. "Well...... A friend is.... is.... Is someone who..." He sighed, and cocked his ear to the side. "Hmm.... A friend is someone you're close to.... Someone you can trust. You're not mates with them, but you can trust them with anything.... and.... and...." He glanced over at Tyme for help, but was cut off anyway. Zira came out of nowhere, and Felix fell backwards.

Tyme stopped jumping long enough to have heard Tobias's statement. He didn't know what friends were? "You don't know what friends are?" The look on his face had answered for her so she continued. " Friends are like... people who hang out with you and stuff... " She really hadn't thought about this before. "They... I guess they care for you and they watch you back and sometimes hunt with you too!" She smiled coming to her own conclusion. "Friends are kinda like mates without the lovey-dovey and stuff."

Finishing her reply, Tyme realized they were not alone... Stupid. She looked at Zira an almost froze with fright. But she held her ground. "Hello Zira."

*Tobias's eyes closed as he felt his mother grab him again, but before he could speak, Nala appeared.*
"Zira... what are you doing here. You know you are not allowed here."
*Narrowing her eyes the lioness stood firmly, frowning.*

*Zira growled softly at nala as her ears pinned back. "I am well aware I'm not allowed...I only came to find Tobias..." Her grip tightened on her son. "I'll leave..." She glared at Nala and quickly turned slinking back across the lands.

Felix watched them leave, and silently mouthed goodbye to Tobias. He surely didn't want to be him right then, and yet he couldn't help but wish he could help him. With a sigh, he glanced over at Nala and then over at Tyme. "Well... now what?"

Tyme opened her mouth to speak but she was too slow. Zira had already seemed too far to listen. So she said the words to herself. 'Come back with him! We were just becomming friends!' Next time, she would speak before he could be carried off... Dissapointed with herself and things that just happened, Tyme frowned and turned to Nala, "If he were to come back... would he be welcome?" She looked at Felix and muttered, if he can't.... She looked at him as if to say, 'Let's go visit.'

Felix nodded an 'ok', and then turned back to Nala. He kind of doubted that Tobias would, but you never know. He might be since he's still a cub, but what about when he's older? With a sigh, Felix waited for a responce from Nala.

((Excuse ze double post....))
Felix blinked, and finally lost patience. "Well.... I hope he still can...." Suddenly, he felt his stomach lurch. It wasn't until then that he realized that he still hasn't eaten yet. His ears cocked to his sides, and he started to edge away. "Ok... well.... I'm gonna leave...." He paused, "I'm... still hungry..... so, ya." He nodded, "I'll see ya around, Tyme! You too, Nala." With that said, he turned around and bounded towards the mainlands.

*Nala did not know what to say- the cub wasn't the one she was fearful off, unless he was like his mother. She sighed and sat herself down, waiting for Leo.*

Tyme cocked her head at Nala's lack of responce. Seeing that she probrbably wont get a responce, Tyme gave her a faint smile good-bye and followed after Felix. She was beginning to get a little hungry too. Before bounding off, she said, "Tobias is a crick in the neck, but I think he's okay..." Looking across to see Felix run into the Mainlands, Tyme followed.

Leo walked up behind Nala and nuzzled her neck. He could tell she was worried about something. "Whats wrong?" He asked as he licked her cheek.

*Nala's eyes went wide, as he felt Leo come up to her. She missed him, so much. Her form turned lightly, as she eyed him, before moving herself over to nuzzle him. He was here! She smiled and purred and nipped at him, happily, before moving herself to stand still, trying her best to hold in her feelings. Nala smiled again, before speaking.*
"Leo, where have you been?"
*She grinned before batting at his bottom paws, as if trying to get him started.*
