How did you catch him?
You can't hold him by the wings, right? It could injure him?

I used to catch frogs alllll the time (whenever I could) heart

Well, I had a summer job last year of picking berries for a local farm. One morning, I turned over a leaf, and there he was. It was pretty chilly out, so he couldn't fly yet. (Poor guy didn't have a chance...muwahaha ninja ) So I plucked him off the leaf and held him until work was over... it was kind of a hassle, but I didn't have anything to put him in. And actually you can hold them by the wings, if you hold both sets together, and hold them close to the base of the wings. For dragon flies and butterflies, that is the best way to hold them, letting them flap around in your hand could tear or break their wings. (Can you tell I've been catching bugs all my life? lol)

That is so cool! I love bugs too. I'm taking an Entomology class next semester, I am SO excited! I also have the beginnings of a bug collection, but I started it late in the season, so now it's winter and I can't find any bugs to catch. :-/ But anyway you should post more bug pictures! Insects are aweesome.

lol it's nice to meet another bug enthusiast blaugh that's sooo kool that you're going to take an entomology class... i'm jealous lol
I don't have a bug collection actually, I either kept them live, or just took pictures of them.

Ahahaha! x3 Those are some awesome pictures! Nice and clear! I like bugs too- but I sometimes get freaked out when-bam! You turn around and you're face to face with one. Spruce bugs, though... *shivers* I. Just. Hate. Them.

Thanks! Amazingly, the camera i took the pictures with really sucks (i mean, the thing is powered by two AA batteries for crying out loud) and YAY! another bug person xd I know what you mean about being kinda freaked when they sneak up on you when you're not expecting it...and i hate mosquitoes...
