Fullmoon.s_wings I fifth that!! but ya wouldnt he know...omg that is so embarrassing poor bella its bad enought he can her when her heart beat increases if he can smell when she is on her period oh man >< also ya wouldnt he be like blood...yummy *eyes go black and runs away* actually when she got a cut he was ok but a period has more blood than that....like i said poor bella thats so embarrasing >< I SIXTH THAT! xd heart

Vampires wouldn't have a period, because they don't have a sufficiant blood flow and the body's systems freeze after "rebirth" so I guess if you were having it while you were made a vampire, then you'd have it until your blood was gone after the first year. But otherwise you would be clear.
I don't see why Bella's period isn't more of a problem. Edward could probablly handle it well enough to keep her alive, but the other Cullens (not counting Carisle) would. Jasper especially. And she's around them all so much, it would be a problem.
Is it just me or does period blood smell a whole lot different(worse) from blood out of a wound? Maybe it's just because there's so much more of it...? If so maybe that's what makes the difference...Probablly not...

I wish Vampires could have babies how cool would it be to have a little Edward or Bella running around the house biggrin .
