Yeah my friend introduced *cough* forced me to read it*cough* it to me ^^ It has a lot to do with ancient Greecian themes, and starts with the death of all of their gods/goddesses. Which then leads to a tangled web of love and betrayal which follows the main cast (which eventually grows to a decent number) through their rebirths up until 1940. At which time the "Game" is to finally be completed and the struggle ended. It has so much depth and nothing EVER turns out how you'd expect. I've never been thrown for so many loops in my life. Everything you'd think would happen is usually wrong gonk Not to mention that the times that they live in (Four, one per book of the series) intertwine with both the past a and future, new possibilities and questions arriving with each answer the reader receives. Even now, at the last 50 pages of the last book (where I currently am whee ) the plot is thickening while also shedding light on so much that happened in their past lives that you have to stop and mentally go back to those books and build in the new information, which only adds yet another layer to the earlier happenings. It's so good. So much depth crying To put it in lamens terms it's a book of mystery, love, deceit, death, rebirth, war, pain, struggles and magic. The Game is the thing that can either destroy their world or make it the most magnificent place to live. WARNING: This book is not for the faint of heart or the immature

Yay! biggrin Well tell me what you think of it if you get around to reading it. I finally finished it and I think the ending was perfect, even though it wasn't what I had expected *goes off to be emo in a corner, because she's disappointed that the series is done* emo

I know exactly what you mean! crying But then, for me at least, there's always this sense of happiness that the series ended. I mean I've just seen/read way too many series that miss the perfect time to end and just keep going on and on until the quality deteriorates out of desperation whether just to make it longer or put more money in someone's pocket stare But I also kind of prefer those series in a way, because then I just get disgusted and stop reading, whereas ones like The Troy Game end on a good not and leave me wanting more...but not really O.o Do you know what I mean? (Apparently I can be very confusing to listen to ._.)

I have a feeling that someone tried to shoot Edward or something judging by this quote. (today's quote)
